He pranced around, asking each member who the "lovely lady" in the house was. Kris closed his eyes, finally annoyed of his ecstatic manner and murmered in a low voice."D.O, this is Luhan's girlfriend.", Kris said with his eyes still closed. D.O stopped and looked at Luhan. Then at Rae. And again at Luhan. He looked back and forth repetively until finally, the expected reaction came. His big eyes brightened and he gazed at the two, admiring how good they looked together.D.O clapped his hands and tilted his head, "Oh you two...how wonderful!", he exclaimed in a tone of approval. Rae raised her eyebrows, wondering why he wasn't opposing. Did he not know who she was?"Do you know who I am?", she asked out loud, repeating the question in her head. D.O stared at her blankly, blinking like an innocent deer in the headlights."Why yes! Yes yes, of course. You're Luhan's girlfriend!", he laughed, adding that what she just said was a silly question. He then proceeded to usher everyone into the kitchen and dining room, claiming that he didn't want to eat cold food for dinner. "Ah! I need to add another set to the table now that Luhan's girlfriend is here!", he exclaimed with excitement. He rushed to the kitchen, with the apron string ties fluttering behind him as he set off to get extra diningware. It wasn't long till he returned and placed the plates and silverware neatly beside Luhan's seat on the table. "There. Where it's going to be from now on.", he said with a smile lingering on his lips. No one said a word and just sat down at the table, absorbing the atmosphere and situation that was completely different than before. Luhan gestured for Rae to sit down beside him and she complied willingly. Kris followed by taking the seat at the head of the table as Lay sat on the right side of him. D.O frowned, counting the people seated and noticing that two chairs empty. "Great, where did those two wonder off to? This is so rude to our new guest!", he said in disapproval. Within a second, he popped his head out the dining room door and yelled, "Kai! Chanyeol! Get your lazy butts down here right now! Or there will be no food left!" As he was just about to walk back to the table, he turned around once more and added, " And I'm not cooking again tonight!" Satisfied this time, he sauntered back to the table and plopped himself in the chair across from Kris. Soon after D.O's empty threats, two boys came along and entered the room. One was extremely tall, had dark hair and a blank expression on his face. The other was also equally tall with bright, orange hair and a look on his face that was hard to decipher. D.O wiggled in his chair, happy that the table was finally full. "Oh! That's right, you haven't met our lovely new addition. This is Luhan's girlfriend..", he pointed at Rae but hesitated, realizing he forgot to ask for her name."Rae...", she said, answering the unspoken question."Yes, yes! Rae. She's Luhan's girlfriend!", he repeated with delight. The other two didn't even bother to say anything and instead stared with undeniable boredom. "Let's eat, everyone!", D.O said, wrapping up the tremendously awkward, one sided  conversation. The boys ate everything that was present on the table. Rae had barely touched her food, although her bowl and plate were overflowing with a variety of food that D.O urged her to eat. Luhan ate quietly beside her, occasionally glancing at her to see how she was handling all this. Rae didn't make it easy for him to see, but she was feeling quite uncomfortable. Mostly because D.O was staring her and Luhan down, and not to mention the awfully dark aura she was recieving from Kris, who ate without lifting his head. Finally, dinner was over and D.O faced a massive mess to clean up. However the consequence was void because he actually enjoyed cleaning and cooking. Now it was only Rae, Luhan, Kris, and Chanyeol who were awkwardly standing in the living room. Lay had gone back home for family matters and Kai was always mysteriously disappearing. Rae decided it was time for her to leave because one, she couldn't bear the silence any longer and two, it was urgent that she called off the hunting, now that  EXO wasn't going to do anything. "Luhan", she called softly, " I have to go.", she informed him. He glanced at her with a tired expression and responded,"Should I walk you back?". Rae shook her head and told him she had somewhere else to be and would text him when she arrived home. Luhan was too tired to ask her what she had to do at this time of night, so he bid her goodnight, making her promise to text him straight away. They kissed briefly, aware of the eyes observing their every movement. Rae walked out of the house, closing the door. She sighed and was just about to leave the premises when a low voice startled her."Do you really like Luhan?", a person asked from the shadows. It was too dark to see and Rae was too shocked to answer. Realizing this, the person came out of the dark into the light. It was Kai. He had been outside, gathering some fresh air and enjoying the breezy night. Now that she wasn't alarmed, Rae answered,"Yes. I do actually,". Kai squinted his eyes in scrutiny, as if accusing her of lying. When he detected no false hints from Rae, he began to turn away and head back inside. He paused momentarily and added,"Don't cause any trouble. It'll be a mess to clean." With that last statement, he wandered back inside, leaving Rae alone. She shook off the eerie aura Kai had radiated and started on her walk to ShiYo where the rest of the hunters were urgently waiting.
