"Nothing's going to happen. No action tonight okay guys?", Rae repeated for the hundredth time. "How do you know?", Miri asked suspiciously."Yeah, where were you by the way?", Ty added."Guys, just trust her. Like we always do. Trust her.", L.E chimed in, saving Rae from telling yet another white lie. She threw a grateful look in his direction and excused herself, explaining she had to be home. They groaned and fussed, disappointed that the excitement of tonight had not met their expectations. L.E followed Rae out of the room silently. Rae knew what he was going to ask. The look of concern had betrayed his attempt at acting nonchalant."I'm fine and do not worry.", she said with a smile, turning to face him as they stood in front of the door. He still looked unsure, but it soon disappeared when Rae cupped his face, staring him straight in the eye. "Don't worry and trust me.", she repeated, recalling the words he had told the other hunters-to trust her. L.E returned the smile and nodded. She released him and began to walk towards her car."Rae", L.E called, "Whatever you're getting yourself into..no matter what it is..you can always come to me." She smiled and nodded. They both already knew they could depend on each other, under any circumstances. It was an unspoken promise that was automatically intact since the birth of their friendship. Always has been, always will be. She skipped happily to the line of cars, deciding on the sleek, black Ferrari that she favored the most. It wasn't as flashy as the others, which was why she drove it mostly. When she arrived home, she discovered that a text message awaited. Expecting it to be Luhan, she smiled as she opened the message-I hope you got home safely. Sorry I couldn't stay to say bye- LayHer smile faded to a surprised expression. It turned out to be Lay. She hesitated at first, but then decided it was necessary to reply, out of courtesy.Thanks, and it's okay. Have a good night!- RaeShe then began to compose a new message-I'm home now!
