Fairytales (1/1)

You had finally remembered the way to all the boys' rooms, so you could go see them whenever you wanted. Kiseop was reading when you knocked on his door and entered. "Oh, ____," Kiseop looked up from his book. "Hi," you walked over to him. "I'm looking for something to do today. Can you give me any ideas?" you asked him."Well, my favourite place in the castle is our library," Kiseop said."Really?" You loved books. Recently, you had been meaning to ask Kiseop if you could borrow some of his."What does it look like?""It's extremely special, there's no other place like it. It's filled with the most amazing books," Kiseop enjoyed entertaining you."Can you show me the way there?"Kiseop smiled. "Tell you what, let's play a game. You go explore and find the library for yourself. If you manage to find it without my help, I'll grant you a wish."You looked at him, interested. "A wish? I can wish for anything?""Anything you want, but if you don't find it, you have to grant me a wish."You pouted. "But... you can get wishes granted yourself. I can't wish at all.""Oh, my wish is something only you can grant. Now go, I'll give you 5 hours," Kiseop shooed you away with his hand."O-okay," you waved at him and quickly left the room to started searching. A couple hours later later, you were still walking around the castle, confused as ever. *I'm sure I passed this portrait before, yet the hallway looks completely different from the other time.*You shivered. Your dress had very thin and light material. You regretted wearing it on such a cold day. You looked out a window, noticing that it was very windy outside.*Are one of the boys upset?* you wondered.By now, you were fully aware every time the weather changed because you knew that it was completely affected by the princes' emotions. You would have gone to check up on them to ask if they were alright, but like many times before, you couldn't find you way back to where you had started searching.Walking through several more hallways, you paused, you gaze fixated on a shiny glass door. It was different from the other ones, larger and more fragile looking. You opened it gently and walked in. To your amazement, you saw that you were surrounded by bookshelves. Great big, giant ones that rose high above you, touching the ceiling. Books were everywhere. You walked to one of the bookshelves and picked up a book. Sleeping Beauty. You smiled, memories of reading this story when you were a little girl came back to you. You looked at the titles of books on the shelf. The Little Mermaid. The Princess and the Frog. Rapunzel. Beauty and the Beast. *Fairytale stories,* you thought. *These are human books.* You had spent so much time with the brothers that you had begun to adopt the habit of calling things human and inhuman. You were so happy to have found the library. *This place is so amazing. Oh, now Kiseop owes me a wish.* You couldn't help but smile. You explored the library, and realized that there was a section for everything. A section all about fairies and mystical creatures. You flipped open a book and found a picture of an grey coloured animal that looked like a snake and a lizard.*I certainly wouldn't want to meet that.* you shuddered. You found a section marked 'Unknown' on one of the shelves. Curious, you picked up a book from that shelf and opened it, reading aloud."Mix a strand of the maker's hair with the blood of your lover's.." your eyes widened, shocked. You looked at the top of the page. It said, "Betrayal Potion. Punishment for those who have suffered pain, wishing for another to feel the same."You quickly flipped to the front of the book and read the title, Forbidden Concoctions. You quickly slammed the book shut.*I don't need nor want to know about revenge and hatred.*You couldn't think of anyone who you would want to do that to. Never Hwa Young, you would die before doing that to your sister. Not even Kevin and the others. You knew that although he had taken you here against his will, you could never do that to him. Although he could be harsh at times, he was more often kind and caring. You smiled at the thought. *He's so sweet sometimes...*Realizing that you were daydreaming, you snapped out of it. You continued looking around the Unknown section, this time, careful as to which book to pick up. At the corner of a shelf, you found a book right at the very edge, which read, Whispers and The Unreal. The title made you worried that the book might be scary, but you flipped through several pages and found it to be ineresting. Hooking it under your arm, you walked around to search for more books.Picking out Alice in Wonderland from the fairytale section, you sat on the floor at the corner of the giant hall of books that never seemed to end. You decided on reading Alice in Wonderland first. Opening the book, you leaned back against the wall and started reading.
