Kevin brought you over to a bench in a quiet area which was less crowded."Wait here, I'll buy us something to drink," he said.You sat down and looked around at people- no, fairies around you. Suddenly, a shop sign attracted you. It said in silver letters, "Heaven's Gifts." You were curious to see what sort of items that shop sold. You got up and walked towards it. Looking through the glass windows, you saw that the most beautiful pieces of jewelry.You eyes fell on a beautiful silver ring with a plain heart on it. Although simple, it seemed to sparkle and shine, standing out from the other pieces of jewelry. You admired it. *One day, when I get married, I wish I could wear that ring,* you thought blissfully.You were unaware, but two male fairies were watching you curiously from a distance. Both were very handsome, one had blonde hair and wearing a fedora, the other was taller and muscular."So she's the prince's human," the blonde one said."She looks so innocent, I wonder why the prince cares so much about her," the other commented."At any rate, she looks interesting. I think she'll be fun to play with," the one with blonde hair smirked."Taemin, you don't want to get into trouble if the prince finds out you've been messing with his human. I hear Kevin's a dangerous enemy," his friend warned, being the more sensible out of the two."Don't be such a spoilsport, Minho."  Taemin walked towards you and put his arm on your shoulder, pulling you to face him."Hey, do you want to come hang out with me and my friend?" he offered to you. You looked at him, intimidated. He didn't look like a friendly person. "Um... I'm waiting for a friend right now.""Ditch your friend, come with us. We'll make sure you have a great time.""No thank you," you said hastily.Taemin looked at you for a moment, surprised. "What did you say?""I said no thank you, I don't want to follow you," you said.Taemin scowled. "Do you know you're the first female to ever reject me?" You tried pulling away, but Taemin tightened his grip. *Why does everyone in this world expect me to do what I tell them to do?* you thought fearfully."You must be either very brave, or very stupid for resisting a fairy," Taemin said coldly."Please let me go!" You were starting to get scared.Taemin started pulling you forcefully to Minho, but he suddenly froze. His expression turned into one of surprise, then fear.You looked at him, confused. He let go of your hand, and you watched as his body twisted in agony, his face contorted with pain."Taemin!" Minho ran over and tried to help his friend, but he doubled over and writhed on the floor as well. *What's happening?* you thought, shocked.Kevin walked over to Taemin, and looked over him with disgust. "You're lucky. I should be torturing you so much more for treating her like that."He grabbed your hand and pulled you away. You turned behind to see the two men lying helplessly on the floor, being tortured by some invisible power.When the two of you were far away from the men, Kevin turned to you."Are you alright?" he asked worried, putting his palms on your face. You were touched by his kind action."Yes, thank you."Kevin realized what he was doing, and quickly pulled away."You didn't have to hurt them because of me, they didn't do anything wrong, really," you were worried that Kevin had overreacted earlier.Kevin frowned. "No one is allowed to mistreat my girl. No one."You couldn't help but smile."Oh," Kevin said suddenly. "Here, your drink." He handed you a vanilla milkshake. "With chocolate chip toppings."You looked at him, surprised. "How did you know this is my favourite flavour?"Kevin smiled. "I just do. Now hurry up and drink it, the cream's going to melt." He sipped on his own chocolate milkshake. ***************You and Kevin ran into the others a short while after, and all of you walked around and spent time in Starcrost. "Do you know, Dong Ho once got lost in here when he was younger?" Soohyun said."Yeah, he was so scared that he forgot he could just wish himself home," Kibum laughed."Hey, I was only 12 then," Dong Ho grumbled. "Stop making fun of me!""You guys shouldn't have left him on his own when he was so young," you said, defending Dong Ho.Dong Ho smiled and stood next to you. "See? She's the only one who cares!" He gave his brothers the stink eye.You looked around. "Where's Kiseop?" Soohyun shrugged. "I'm guessing he's at the bookstore again." All of you were walking in a group, Kibum and Dong Ho were joking around, Soohyun looking around at the shops, humming. Eli was trudging behind, half awake.Kevin caught your eye and smiled at you. You smiled back. As the days passed, you had grown fond of the brothers. Especially Kevin and Kiseop. You were content here. However, you missed Hwa Young and thought of her every day. Please don't be mad if you don't like Taemin as a bad person! >< He's my favourite in SHINee, I don't know why I'm making my biases scary in this fanfic.
