Lethal Fate Sitting alone in a room filled with loud chattering and noisy laughter, Donghae waited patiently, installed at a long table, for a friend to show himself. The boy could have eaten in the kitchen of the dormitory, but he preferred being here with his schoolmates than alone in the other room. Plus, it was an opportunity to see those friends who wasn’t in the same dormitory as him or in no one in particular. The teenager examined his untouched meal and pricked it slowly with his fork. He raised his head and looked around the place, then at its main entrance. His friend wasn’t in sight. The brown-haired young man sighed, wondering when his friend would come.He dropped his head over his food, causing his hair to fall a little bit over his deep brown eyes and began to eat. If he’s going to take that long, I’m not going to wait for him. Just when he was about to take his first bite, he saw a shadow above him. He looked up and seeing who it was, he pouted slightly.“Hae, you could have waited for me at least!”“You’re already fifteen minutes late you know. I was starving!”“Yeah, blame the teacher. He didn’t stop talking to me, so I wasn’t able to finish the exam on time!” The redhead complained. “I’m sure he did it on purpose…”The Chinese young man sat down in front of Donghae and took out a sandwich he made this morning. He unwrapped it and took the first bite. “Hmm. Not that bad.”The older grinned hearing his friend talking with his mouth full. Henry Lau was a little bit younger than Donghae, but still had the same age. The teenager enjoyed talking with people, even Hae had difficulty to follow the conversation and wondered how the heck he finished a conversation with the political situation when he started it by saying how wonderful his sandwich tasted. Well, it was no surprise if Henry was the one talking.“Where are the others?”“Hangeng’s surely at his basketball practice…”“And Sungmin is—” The redhead didn’t get to finish his sentence that a little blond man rushed towards the both of them.“You guys don’t know what just happened!” The table moved slowly on the right when the newcomer abruptly slammed his hands on the hard surface and bent over the boys. These two were actually shocked. They were used to Sungmin’s mood swings, but it always was surprising how the boy was overreacting over nothing.“Mind to tell us?” Henry was the first one to speak.“You know, I was walking towards the cafeteria when suddenly, a guy bumped into me!” He explained while making huge hands signs over his head. “I automatically excused myself, but he completely ignored me and continued walking!”Donghae and Henry looked at each other containing their laughter.“I then ask him politely what time it was, but that brat ‘tsst’ me. He ‘tsst’ me! What a jerk! And he even said that I was the one in fault but he was the one looking at his stupid PSP while walking…” The young boy stopped talking, crossed his arms on his chest and exhales deeply.“That turd exactly said ‘Look where you’re going stupid gay!’ Do I look like I’m gay!? I swear that guy has some mental problems.”The two boys looked at the pink t-shirt Sungmin was wearing and burst out laughing like mad men.“Hey! Stop laughing, that’s not even funny! Guys!” He puffed out his cheeks and sulked but he finally began to laugh with them at his own childishness.  The bell rang, announcing the beginning of the next class. After telling goodbyes to his friends, Donghae immediately went in the classroom. He sat down by the window, his favorite seat, waiting for the teacher to make his entry. After several minutes, the teacher opened the door of the room and began his class. As boring as it was, Donghae found interesting to look outside the window while the teacher was blabbering unimportant shit.Mathematics was something easy for the brown-haired man, he didn’t even need to study that hard to comprehend it all and he was quite happy about it. Just seeing his classmates shitting bricks only by trying to understand, he felt lucky. The boy checked on his cellphone from time to time, distracting himself from all the boredom. He was about to play a mini-game when he received a text from Jungsu.‘Pass by the council room after your class please. Teukie.’He put the cellphone back in his jeans pocket and rested his head on his crossed arms. The whole class passed like this and the bell rang, once again. The student got out the classroom and walked across the corridor, only to stop in front of the student council room. He knocked two times and opened it, passing his head in the small door-frame.“Donghae, come here!”“Why did you need me?” He took tiny steps towards the older boy, a light smile appearing on his features.“Actually, I want to ask you a favor…”“I’m listening.”“I’m quite busy these times with the student council and I still have some duty the director absolutely wants me to do… You know like reporting some misbehaving students but like I said, I don’t have much time to keep an eye on it. So…”“So, you want me to do it?”“Hmm yes, I would like to. It’ll help me very much, but don’t feel obliged to if you don’t want to do it! I’ll understand, it’s a pain in the ass and it’s boring as hell.”Donghae smiled at the elder’s choice of words to describe his duty.“But why do you need to do it?”“The director wants a report of the students behaving each end of the month, maybe to keep the school in peace.”“Okay, I’ll promise to help you with this.”“Thank you very much, I’ll owe you a lot!”“No need, that’s not a big deal anyway. I’ll be going I still need to attend one more class.”  When the final bell rang, the students were more excited than ever. Finally, the school was over and the weekend was greeting them. They majority quickly stomped out the building and left the place. Some books in hands, Donghae decided not to return to his room but in the little library of the school. It wasn’t big since there was another one near the school ground, but Donghae wasn’t in mood to walk all the way there. This one was large enough for himself. He entered the quiet place and took a seat, opening his books. History exams were the worst for the boy, although he was good in maths, history was a complete different story. To memorize all these dates was something difficult and boring as hell. Donghae wasn’t interested in the subject, so he tended to forget easily all the things he learned about it.After two pages and half of notes and 3 hours of studying, the teenager was feeling a little sleepy and greatly relieved. He finished what he has to do and could get some sleep now. The brown-haired man exited the library and took some steps in the corridor but immediately stopped when he heard some noises. Nothing. He was about to continue when the sounds were heard once again.Donghae turned around and walked towards the source, the history class. In front of it, he listened carefully to what was inside. He heard some male voices and sounds of paper being tossed around. He didn’t know why, but his heart was throbbing against his rib cage, deep inside him, he knew something was happening in there. He couldn’t help but to take a peek inside the window above him. In there, he saw three boys inside, apparently searching something particular in the teacher’s files, and then it hit him.The answers of the upcoming exam. It was so obvious, with what they were saying, too.He held his breath, even if they obviously couldn’t hear him, he wasn’t taking chances. The one who were tossing papers everywhere on the desk was Kim Youngwoon, better known as Kangin. On his right, a tall but skinny and pretty man above the same age as Jungsu was looking for the answers. Leaning on a desk in the first row, was Lee Hyukjae, which surprised Donghae a bit. Not the fact that he was with his delinquents friends, but he was there, with them, searching for the responses of the history exam. The young man didn’t even need it, he was already so fucking clever.Jungsu’s words then popped up in Donghae’s mind. ‘You know like reporting some misbehaving students…’ Well he was now wondering if reporting them was a good thing to do. But I promised Hyung I would… He wasn’t going to break a promise, was he? He sighed deeply and began to walk away from the scene.~“No need, that’s not a big deal anyway. I’ll be going I still need to attend one more class.”“Wait a second!”“Yes, Hyung?”“If you’re wondering, either you can report those to me or the director himself. I’m sure he’ll be pleased.”“Yeah, okay. Bye now.”“See you later!”~And before he knew, he was walking towards the principal’s office.

[A/N: Another finished chapter ! There's more characters introduced but Hyukjae doesn't have a big role in this chapter, neither in the previous one. I promise thought it'll come but not yet~ And I wasn't expecting to have 6 subscribers already, thank you very much for taking interest in my story ♥]
