Baekhyuns Heartbreak (1/1)

He is one of the most handsome boys in school. He is in one of the two boy groups that are extremely popular in school. He is charming and he has a beautiful voice that makes people stop and hear him for a moment. He is currently trying to learn how to act. He dreams of being an artist. He has many friends and he is active.He is Byun Baekhyun.“I know nothing of what you are saying!” He read the script and cocked an eyebrow at the writer which was Sulli. Sulli was one of the members of the so-called maknae group. It’s weird since they’re not freshmen anymore and they act like they’re the seniors. “Seriously, Sulli? You can write better.” Sulli rolled her eyes and sat at the nearest table she could sit.“What do you expect? This is a classic tale we’re making. You can’t just say; Hey, I dunno what you’re talking about dude.” She made an act as if she was a street guy trying to make peace with another man. Baekhyun made a blank face and groaned. “Tell me why I entered this in the first place?”“You’re the only boy suitable for the role!”“No need to praise me that much. I know I’m handsome.” He smirked and Sulli face palmed. She shook her head a bit and let out a tired sigh. “Just let me know when you’re finish. I need to check the lead female.” She stood up and went to other section. Baekhyun shrugged. He just realized that he’d never met the lead female so he just asked Sulli out loud.“Who’s the lea-.”“WHAT DID YOU SAY??!” Baekhyun thought he was deaf for a minute before turning to the source of the incredibly loud and annoying voice. Sulli was furious and yet she was the youngest. It’s so annoying when the younger gets to control the elder, he thought. He decided to wait.“You’re backing out and…wait..no you can’t!” Baekhyun couldn’t resist anymore and went to Sulli. He was confused. “What’s going on?” Sulli was trying to calm down and looked at Baekhyun while pointing at her before realizing her action and just looked at Baekhyun. She frowned.“She’s backing out. She said she’s too scared.” She turned to the girl. “Why did you join the club in the first place?”Random girl said, “Because there was no other choice.”Baekhyun massaged his temple. “Well, let her be. Just find another actress. This club is practically full-.” He stopped and a sudden grin showed up. Sulli and the random girl exchanged looks before turning to him. “How about Jieun?”“Jieun-unnie?”“yeah.” Sulli stopped to think for a moment before she decided to agree with him. She apologized to the random girl about being so disrespectful and the girl just let it pass. Sulli turned to Baekhyun. “Well? Call Jieun-unnie then.”♦►The class was interrupted by Baekhyun who called for Jieun because of the drama club. They then went out with Jieun bringing along her bag. Sungyeol looked at them before focusing on the board. The two discussed while walking.“So I need to be this maid who’s going to be killed by her master?”“Yep.” Baekhyun smiled. Jieun nodded slowly. “And her master is you?”“Yep.” Jieun nodded again. “And why’s she killed?”“Because her master is jealous of her lover.”“Why didn’t he kill the lover instead?”Baekhyun thought of it. “Maybe he goes for the motto ‘if I don’t have you no one will’?” Jieun nodded. “Yeah, probably. So, who’s the writer?” Baekhyun frowned. “Miss Maknae Writer.”Jieun grinned. “Ah, Sulli! Hope the past 20 minutes of your life wasn’t wasted with her babbling. But she’s nice, though.” He just agreed even though he didn’t. “Yeah but annoying.”“I heard that!” They didn’t realize they were already in front of the drama club front door with an angry figure in front of them. Sulli glared at him. “You’re lucky you’re my senior, Baekhyun-oppa.” Baekhyun looked at Jieun to defend him but she avoided him with an evil smile. He shook his head and cried dramatically. “Why?!”♦►School was over and Sungyeol went home with the Infinite, his second family. Usually, when he was a kid, he would go home alone if Baekhyun and Jieun’s class ended early. He didn’t want to admit but he sometimes felt that the two of them were closer. But now, he was happy that he could go home with people that he could call true friends. For infinity.“You’re spacing out, Myungsoo.” Woohyun said at the boy beside him. Sungyeol looked at his left. Myungsoo only let him and the Infinite members to call him Myungsoo. He rested his arm on the boy’s shoulder. “What’s wrong, Myung?”“Nothing.”“Nothing means there’s something. Sunggyu-hyung, go interrogate him!” Hoya teased him and Sunggyu turned back to face Myungsoo, “Yah, just spill it out.” Myungsoo glared at Hoya who laughed at him. Dongwoo laughed too but then he added. “Let him keep to himself, guys. Maybe it’s too personal.”“Finally. Thanks hyung.” And Dongwoo replied with his cute dino smile.“So what’s wrong?” Sungyeol asked. “Didn’t you just hear what Dongwoo say?” Woohyun said to Sungyeol. “Well, I know him so well so if it’s personal then I’m the right guy to speak to!” He held onto Myungsoo. “Man, don’t need to rub it in our face.” Hoya said before chatting with Dongwoo and Sunggyu.“How do you know that you like that certain someone?”Everyone stopped and looked at Myungsoo as if he was an alien. “What?”“Kim Myungsoo likes someone?!” Woohyun held Myungsoo and pressed his hand on his forehead and shook the boy like a boy shaking his cereal box to see if there was a toy in it. “Are you Myungsoo?”“I’m not a robot and I do have feelings.” He stared at them awkwardly.♦►“So you have no feelings and somehow you suddenly harbor feelings for me?” Jieun asked and Baekhyun nodded. Suddenly Sungjong came and looked shocked to see them before Sehun followed behind him and gave the same look too. “Um, did we disturb you or something?”Only then Jieun and Baekhyun understood what that meant. “Oh! N-no! We’re practicing for the upcoming theatre.” Sungjong slowly nodded then Sehun asked. “Where’s Sulli, hyung?”“She’s at the back.” Sungjong and Sehun left them both and went to search for Sulli.“Okay, let’s try again.” They continue their practice. Jieun stood up and said her lines.“Master, the guests have finally arrived.”“Tell them to leave! I’m not in the mood.” Baekhyun rubbed his temple, feeling annoyed and tired.Jieun made a shocked face. “Why Master? T-they came all the way from-.”“Who are you to say such thing at me, your Master?!” He glared at her and stood up to walk towards the fragile maid. He gripped her shoulders, not too hard since it was a practice.Jieun hung her head low, clearly embarrassed. “I’m sorry Master.” Suddenly her phone rang and she excused herself to answer it before she accidently stepped on a paper which was on a glossy floor that made her tripped. Baekhyun quickly checked her. “Are you okay?”“My knees hurt, but that’s okay.” But Baekhyun grabbed her injured knee and examined it. There were blood but only a little. He took out his water and checked Jieun’s bag for some tissues. He treated her and Jieun thanked him. Baekhyun gazed at her before talking. “So… Jieun.”“Yeah?” She stepped away from him to get some space. Baekhyun felt hurt but quickly changed his expression. “Do you like anybody? Well, you are old now.”Jieun laughed a little. “I’m not that old. But yeah. I do like someone.”Baekhyun’s hope started to fade. He knew well now who would fill the blank space for his question. “It’s Sungyeol, right?” Jieun blushed. “H-How did you know?”Baekhyun cracked a sad smile but she didn’t notice it. “Because I’m your one and only friend?”He added. “Just wondering, how do you react if someone else confessed to you before Sungyeol does?”“Of course I’ll reject him because I know my love’s for Sungyeol.” Baekhyun nodded, agreeing with her with a painful smile. She hugged him tightly. “Baekhyun! Thank you for supporting me! I hope he will return my feelings.” She let go of him not knowing the boy’s ready to leave just any minute by now.“Yeah, I hope so.” He pretended to look at his watch. He made a fake shocked face. “Jieun, I need to go now! I have some things to do. Tell Sulli we’ll do this tomorrow.” He quickly grabbed his things and left her. Jieun blinked at the now missing figure.“Wow, noona.” Sehun said, coming out of nowhere, followed by Sungjong. Jieun stared at them, confused. “What?”Sungjong looked at the door, where Baekhyun left. “Nothing noona. Just, next time don’t be so… straightforward.” He and Sehun excused themselves and after two minutes Sulli came out, rushing. “Unnie, practice’s cancelled! Goodbye!” She chased after the two boys while shouting their names.Jieun let out a small laugh, “maknaes,” before checking her phone. ♦►He was a fool to think he would be with Jieun. He should’ve seen the signs. The signs that showed Jieun never thought of him more than a friend. Except for Sungyeol.He should’ve known whenever Jieun would smile whenever Sungyeol’s with her.When Sungyeol would help her when she’s in a problem.When he gave her presents on her birthday.And how she would start to cry or get upset when he’s not in class.When he forgot to greet her.When he couldn’t accompany her back home.He should’ve known.“I should’ve known.” He let out a tired sigh. He couldn’t focus on his homework. He tapped the pen while his eyes wander around the table until he came across something. He frowned while taking the thing out of its case.It was the star shaped stone.“If she liked me back then, this would be a love stone… not a star shaped one.” He tightened his fist which almost made the stone crushed. He panicked and put it back. “Sungyeol… why?” He ruffled his hair and laid his head onto the table. Slowly he fell asleep when the clock struck 12.  ----Hello ! *bows* thankyou for reading this.
