Recess time!The canteen was huge and fancy. Of course it was because it’s Woolim High Elite School. Only the best enter the school and rich too but there were also students from the poor side who made in because of their excellent results. All the students went to meet their friends and hang out, so were Sungyeol and Myungsoo who were bickering about their previous act. Jieun went to her own table with her girls, Minah, Krystal, Naeun, Yeonsoo, and Hyeri. So did Baekhyun with his Exo gang. Sungyeol smiled and greeted his gang members.“Yah, Sungyeol! Myungsoo! You didn’t even wait for us.” Woohyun pouted while walking to their table. Sunggyu and Hoya made gagging noise. Woohyun grinned and took his place beside Sunggyu. At Sunggyu’s right was Hoya who was facing Dongwoo who was sitting beside Sungyeol. Myungsoo stood and looked at the members before he made a concerned look. “Where’s Sungjong?”Hoya turned to him while holding his drink. He drank a little before replying. “He’s with Sehun.”The table went quiet before Sungyeol started to change the mood. “Let him be, I’m starving! Myungsoo, let’s go and take our food~” He went to the aunties who took care of their hungry tummy. “Ahjumma, I’m hungry, hehehe.” He was nowhere in sight. Myungsoo shook his head. “How did I become friends with him?”“Because you guys are forever soul-mate-friends.” Sunggyu didn’t look up and kept eating his food. Myungsoo turned to look for Jieun. “Who’re you looking for?” Dongwoo asked.“No one.”“Ah, finally our maknae is here!” Hoya grinned. Sungjong just made a tired face. “Where’s your food, hyung?” Sungjong looked at Myungsoo then searched for Sungyeol. He looked messy. His uniform was not neat. Myungsoo eyed him curiously while walking to take their food. “Jongie, err… your shirt.” Sungjong looked at his uniform and made an annoyed noise.“They are wolves I tell you,” he mumbled while trying to tidy up his shirt. “Who?”“Exo. Sehun and his gang made a guerilla attack at me. Seriously 10 versus 1?” Sungjong shook his head, laughing when he remembered the previous incident. “They were jealous because I scored 3 shoots.” He stopped and eyed Myungsoo. “Wait a minute… did you think of something dirty?!”“No! No!” He waved his hands innocently. “You just look messy.”“Hyung, we were just playing basketball until someone was jealous for my unknown talent.” Sungjong smirked. “Oh, Baekhyun asked me to tell Sungyeol that he had something after recess until after school.”Myungsoo looked bored. “Why are you telling me?”“Well, you’re his best friend so you can pass this to him.”Myungsoo nodded like a kid. “True.”Sungjong chuckled. “Hyung, I swear you’re going to make a girl faint just by doing that.”Myungsoo smirked then put his hand around Sungjong’s shoulder. “Well, they don’t call me the Visual for nothing.” Sungjong made an I-don’t-care look. “Come on, I’m hungry.”♦►Sungyeol went to the boys’ and after coming out from the place, he bumped into Jieun. “Hey Jieun.”“Hey.” Sungyeol wanted to walked pass by her by Jieun stopped him. “Ne, Sungyeol…”“Yeah?” He tried to put on a normal face but his heart was beating fast. No one knew about this, not even his parents but he was in love with his best friend. Yes, Sungyeol was in love with Jieun.“Well, this Saturday... Are you free?”Wait? Is this… a date?He coughed. “I, um, I’m not sure but I’ll try.” Jieun started to smile. “Great, meet me at the usual restaurant. See you in class!” She waved at him and walked to her other friends. Sungyeol went back to the toilet and washed his face. “I’m not dreaming, am I?”He grinned. “Jieun just asked me for a date! Wait, does this mean… she likes me?” He widened his eyes and just couldn’t stop smiling. He inhaled and exhaled for a few times before he was sure that he was calm. He tidy up his uniform and went to his group, Infinite.After he went outside, a person came out from the toilet. He felt something hurt in his chest. “Sungyeol likes Jieun… too?” He looked to the mirror and tried a macho pose.“I’m handsome right? Jieun will surely like me too!” But his voice became slower and he felt insecure.“But what if she doesn’t?” he shook his head and tried to put on a confident smile. “Hey, this is Byun Baekhyun! You’re one of the most charming boys in school. Fighting!” He nodded to himself and went to his group, Exo.♦►“Woohyun-oppa, can you sign my notebook?” Woohyun gladly accepted the request.“Sunggyu-hyung, do you want to join our band?” The leader politely declined.“Hoya, we need another member to represent the school’s dance team.” Hoya just agreed.“Dongwoo-oppa, can you rap like the time you do it for the school?” Dongwoo just chuckled.“Sungyeol-oppa, em.. I, em…” Sungyeol didn’t realize the girl was there because there were other girls.“Yah, Myungsoo. Stop taking all the girls.” Myungsoo just gave the boys his killer glare.“Sungjong-oppa!”Sungjong replied the girl’s greeting. He smiled at her and the girl froze. Sungjong of Infinite just smiled at her? Her?! She quickly ran away. Sungjong looked at his watch then turned to his hyungs. “I’m going to go now.” In front of them was Sungjong’s very own maknae group. S-Maknaes. They were Sehun, Sungjae, Sulli and Sujeong. Sungjong bid his hyungs goodbye. Sungjong rest his hand on Sehun’s shoulder then he started to laugh with the others. Hoya and Sunggyu frowned. Then after a while, all the students went to their respective class.♦►In class, Jieun was talking to Yeonsoo about Kyungsoo a.k.a DO from the Exo group. Yeonsoo was head over heels for the boy so Jieun, being the kind friend she is, went to Baekhyun and wanted to talk about it but he was nowhere to be found. “Where’s Baekhyun?”Myungsoo looked up from his book and turned to his left and his right before turning to the owner of the voice. “You’re talking to me?” Jieun nodded. Myungsoo then paid no attention and went back to his book. “I’m not close with Exo. Go talk to Sungyeol.”“Well, I wouldn’t talk to you if Sungyeol didn’t have to go to the teachers’ room.” Jieun crossed her arms. Myungsoo pinched his head, still not looking at Jieun. “You’re so annoying.” Jieun gasped silently. “What?”Myungsoo groaned “I said you’re annoying, are you deaf or what?”“Oh…okay, no need to be mad.” Jieun felt the situation became awkward so she went back to her place to chat with Yeonsoo. Myungsoo felt his eyes following every single action that Jieun made and he had no idea why.
