the list: the one where t (1/1)

Surely now, a lot of things have changed, especially after the- kiss. The two were both still shy about it, but never did it once made things awkward. Instead, it kinda gave them reassurance. Reassurance, that the feelings are there, that there's a possible chance, and they were more than happy about it.  Ever since Minju got the role, Yujin's been seeing less of her around since she's mostly practicing. Yujin is too, especially with the season's coming up, she needs to be in best shape. But nevertheless, they still try their best to make time for the other as much as possible.  At this moment, their families are out on a mini trip to the beach since it's a weekend. The Chou and Yoo couple decided it would be best if they let their kids take a break from all the things that are keeping them busy.  And of course, their Moms loving more company, told them to invite their friends. And so that explains the amount of chaos in their villa. The parents had a separate villa from their kids and their friends which explains why. Hitomi and Nako are arguing about something incredibly useless and Chaewon and Chaeyeon found it funny, hence why they're laughing. The others laughed at this as well while Yena and Yujin were now playing with each other. However, they stopped their acts when someone suddenly entered the villa. Turns out, it was just Nayeon and Sana. "Oh, Mom. Whar brings you here?" Yujin asked. "We came to check on you. Are you kids enjoying so far?" "Of course." they answered in chorus which made the two smile. "That's good, Right, you kids prepare, we'll be eating lunch soon. " Sana said. "And Hyewon, Minju, a guest will come here soon. I expect you will take good care of her." They left leaving a confused Hyewon and Minju who had no idea what their Mom said. The sisters just shrugged it off and went to prepare for lunch. - After eating lunch, they stayed a bit longer and talked about stuff when suddenly Hyewon remembered something. "Mom you said a guest was coming over. Where exactly is that guest?" "Wait, I'll go and check on her in the entrance." Sana excused herself. When Sana came back, a tall girl was already trailing behind her, making the friends wonder who that was. The two stopped in front of them and immediately Hyewon and Minju beamed. "Ya!" Hyewon said and pointed at the taller girl. "You're here!" "Aaaah! Unnie-deuls! I've missed you!"  "Wonyoung-ah! My baby!" Minju ran towards her and engulfed the older into a big hug. Baby? "Ya! Include me in that hug too!" Hyewon whined and Wonyoung laughed, pulling her along with them. Yujin abruptly look at Eunbi's reaction only to find her smiling at the sight. What on earth is happening? The three of them broke the hug and faced their friends who were dumfounded as ever. "Everyone, we'd like you to meet Jang Wonyoung," Minju trailed off, "Our cousin." Cousin? How come I don't know? "Hello everyone! It's nice to meet all of you!" she greeted cheerfully and offered her hand to each in every one. When she reached Eunbi's, she gave the older a big hug. "Unnie! I missed you! Is that unnie treating you well?" the younger pointed at Hyewon who nodded. "Of course!" Eunbi smiled at the younger and ruffled the younger girls hair, "Aigoo she is Wonyoung-ah, don't worry about it."  This made Wonyoung smile and move to shake Chaewon's hand who was honestly too stunned to speak. Yujin being observant, didn't fail to see how her friend reacted when she looked at Wonyoung's face. Finally, Wonyoung stopped in front of her and offered her hand. "So you're Yujin? It's nice to finally meet you. Minju unnie's been talking about you for the whole holiday break." "S-She did?" "Surprising as it may sound, but yeah, she did. Although not that very good stuff though." Wonyoung muttered. Yujin smiled at this. Probably about how annoyingly cocky I am. Ha! She's such a cutie really. "Okay kids, how about you go back to your rooms? Wonyoungie, you'll be rooming with your Minju unnie." Minju and Wonyoung squealed and ran back to the villa. Meanwhile, Yujin went to Chaewon who stayed rooted on her place when everyone else was gone. "Hey, dude. You alright?" "No. I think I just saw a goddess." - Right now, Minju was happily arranging her stuff in her shared room with Wonyoung when suddenly, a knock was heard from outside. "Come in!" she says. "Wonyoungie! Perfect timing! I was thinking-" Minju turned around and thought she'd be seeing Wonyoung, but instead, she saw Yujin. "Oh? Yudings!" Minju ran to Yujin and hugged her tight while Yujin giggled at how cute Minju was, hugging her back and swaying them in the process. "What's up? You seem to be quite chirpy?" "Nothing, just happy that my cousin finally came to visit us." Minju answered. "How about you? What are you doing here." "Oh, that, I was about to get something. Everyone wants to head to the beach to enjoy the sunset, you in?" "Sure, but I'll need to change first." "Okay, we'll wait for you downstairs." When she was done, she immediately went downstairs and soon enough they were all headed to the beach. Since Yujin decided to go surfing after a long time, she handed her phone to Minju earlier when they still haven't left. As Yujin was busy surfing, the others were busy taking pictures of either the view or themselves. As of the moment, Yuri is asking Yena to take pictures of her when her phone suddenly died. "Yul, what do I do with this?" "Use yours." "I left it in my room." "Did anybody else bring their phones? Can I borrow it for a sec?" Minju then handed hers, "Here you can use mine." Thinking it was hers, Minju failed to notice the different phone case and just gave it directly to Yuri. "Gomawo, Minju~ I'll return it after." she thanked the latter and handed it to Yena. "Here." While receiving the phone, Yena noticed something odd about it. "Eh?" "Why?" "Nothing, she just has the same phone case as Yujin." the older answered and showed her the phone. "Oh? But Minju's phone case was different a while ago." "Eh, they probably bought the same one to match with each other." "Aish, how cringey." Yuri complained yet quickly pouted towards Yena's direction. "Why don't we do stuff like that?" The older smiled teasingly, "Do you want to?" Yuri rolled her eyes and went back to posing, making Yena sighed, a warm smile on her lips as she went back to taking pictures. While the two were doing that, Yujin was still busy surfing, becoming one with the waves and Minju was watching her in amusement. She's so cool really. However, her amusement disappeared when a group of women rushed to her place and was busy gushing over Yujin. "Omg! Just look at her go!" one of them exclaimed. "She's so cool!" "She's so good looking! I've never seen anyone like her before." They all continued gushing like they were some sort of teenage girls watching their crushes while they were training or walking pass the hallway. Something like that, and it annoyed Minju a LOT. "Excuse me, do you know who that is?" one girl went near her as  she ask who Yujin was. "Yes. I'm with her actually," she answered shortly, not even doing an effort to answer the question being asked. "Oh really? Do you mind telling me her name? She looks quite attractive." "Sure, I don't mind." Minju smiled. "Her name is Yoo Yujin." she trailed off. "And she's my girlfirend." Minju smile grew more and then looked at the ladies who were gushing earlier only to see them bowing nervously in front of her. "Omg! We're so sorry. We didn't mean to." Minju reassuringly smiled at them. "It's okay, no harm done. I understand that my girlfriend can have that effect sometimes." The group of ladies smiled awkwardly and bowed one last time before leaving.  Minju proudly  smiled when her little plan worked, silently praising herself. After a while, Yujin went back to shore and went to Minju. "Where are the others?" "Went to take pictures."  "Who were you talking to earlier? Do you know them." "Nope." she answered with no hint of interest. "But they were crushing on you like some teenage girs. It was an unpleasant sight to see really." Yujin grinned, pinching the other side of Minju's cheeks while the other one was holding on to her surf board. "Are you perhaps jealous, Miss Chou?" "And what if I am, Yoo? What are you gonna do about it?" she raised her left brow, waiting for an answer from Yujin who's now grinning like a fool. "Oho~ You must like me that much then." she teased. "Ya! Don't get cheeky with me!" Minju exclaimed and slapped her shoulder, making Yujin laugh. "So what did you do to them? They seemed frightened earlier." Minju smirked, "I just said something to drive them away. And I must say, it was very effective." ​​​​​​Yujin giggled playfully and placed her arm on Minju's shoulder, hanging it there. "It's getting cold. You should go inside and change." she suggested. "In a bit. I'll dry myself up first."  They both stay rooted in their place when Chaewon suddenly appeared, Minju quickly pushing Yujin in the process. Because of this, Yujin fell down flat on the sand. "What happened here?" Chaewon asked as she helped Yujin get up. "Uh..there was a bug. Yeah. And I...fell down." Yujin said, unsure. "There was a bug?" Chaewon asked in clarification to which Yujin nodded frantically. "And you  fell down?" there was a hint of suspicion in the older's voice. "Hey! It could happen to the best of us!" "Okay, whatever you say." she shrugged. "Hurry up and get changed, we'll be setting up for dinner early." "Oh? Where's our parents?" "They left cause they had something urgent to do. Eunbi unnie's in charge." Yujin nodded and lift her surfboard. "Minju, you coming with me?" "Sure unnie." she nodded towards Yujin's direction before going with Chaewon to where the others are right now.  They helped the others prepare for dinner when they arrived. Noticing that Yujin took longer than expected, she decided to send her a message. To Daengie: Hey, what's taking you so long? Minju waited for a few minutes for Yujin's reply and when she didn't get one, only then did she realized that she has Yujin's phone. She facepalms herself. "Aigoo." She takes Yujin's phone from her pocket, getting confused when she saw hers instead. "What the.." she stopped and realized what she did. Shoot! I gave it to Yuri by mistake! Just then, Yuri came to her and gave back the phone. "Here Min, thanks for letting me borrow it. Airdrop me the photos later okay? Thankies~" the bobbed haired girl said. "Sure." she smiled at her friend and kept the phone back in her pocket. That was close! "Oh and by the way, nice phone case you got there. Someone I know has the similar phone case as yours." Yuri said, trying to hide the teasing tone in her voice when Minju smiled nervously. "Oh you do? Yeah this kind of case is a trend nowadays." Yuri just nodded with a shrugged and left to continue what she was doing earlier. Soon enough Yujin came there and helped the others as well. - After successfully making dinner from all their hardwork and effort, they circled around the table near bonfire that they had created earlier when they were waiting for their dinner to finish. "Oh! Minju! This piece of meat is so tasty!" Hyewon complimented her sister the moment she tasted the piece of meat. "You grilled it perfectly! Wah!" Minju shyly smiled at the compliment she just received, "I'm glad you all like it." They all talked and laughed along each other's jokes and stories, the rest slowly starting to get to know Wonyoung with the stories she's now telling. Minju was listening to her cousin when she felt a hand was placed on her lap. She looked and saw Yujin, who was sitting beside her, acting like she didn't do anything. She lightly shook her head but ultimately also placed her hand on top of Yujin's, gently caressing it. The two continued to hold hands like that, failing to notice the look Nako gave them. Goodness until when will they keep on hiding this? - After they had finished eating they head back inside as Chaewon, Wonyoung, Minju, and Yujin were in charge of washing the dishes they used while the others are preparing the movie in the living room. And while washing, Yujin wouldn't stop annoying Minju, constantly putting soap on the other girl's arm making her annoyed. Chaewon just rolled her eyes at them, thinks it's their way of flirting while staying "lowkey". Wonyoung just chuckles everytime she sees Chaewon reaction towards the two. Yujin wouldn't  stop laughing at Minju's annoyed face. Due to annoyance, she got revenge and put the bubbles of soap in Yujin's nose.  "Ah! Ya!" "What? You think you're the only one who can do that?" Minju asked with a smirk. Yujin chased her around until they reached the living room, not having any idea of what's happening, the others just watched them.  "Get back here, Miss Chou!" "Ya! You started it!" They argued while still running around the living room. Minju was near the couch and Yujin thought it was a great idea to trap her, so she did. She jumped their and pulled Minju to the couch, smudging soap on the side of her cheeks as she laughs at Minju's face. "Hey, you look like Santa." Minju did the same thing, laughing at Yujin as well. "Ha! You look more like Santa!" They stopped when they realised what was happening. Yujin was on hovering on top of her while the rest of them were watching them with a stoic expression. Yujin quickly got off her and shaked her head. "Uhm, we were just messing around, yeah." she said in defense. "She did it first  though." Minju pointed out. "Yeah, no, I don't think so." Hyewon said while looking intently at them. "What's wrong? I swear we were just messing around." Yujin defended again which made their other friends sighed. "Okay, that's it! The jig is up! I can't with this anymore." Nako frustratingly said. Confused, Minju asks "What on Earth are you guys talking about?" "We know about you two." Yena said. "Y-You do?" Yujin asked making Minju glare at her. "I mean, y'all are nuts. Nothing's going on between me and Minju." "Oh please stop with the act, we all know and even witnessed those "lowkey" flirting of yours." Hyewon rolled her eyes and sat properly. "Sit down. Both of you. We have a lot to talk about." Yujin visibly gulped and sat down beside Minju, hiding behind her to avoid her best friends piercing gaze. "What are you hiding for, Yoo Yujin? Sit properly and face me." "Ah Min-ah, your sister's scary." "I can hear you." the older reminded. "The two of you, how dare you hide this from us. Especially from me? I'm your sister." she faced Minju and went to look at Yujin afterwards, "And I'm your best friend. And you guys dare to hide this from me? I feel betrayed really." She pretended to shed tears and Minju just rolled her eyes. "Stop being emotional unnie. We were really gonna tell you. We were just...we were just looking for the perfect timing." Yujin nodded at Minju's explanation. "We're sorry for not telling you guys sooner." "it's fine, we understand you guys. We often make a big fuss at things like this anyways," Tomi replied making the others agree. "How did you guys found out anyway? We were doing well with hiding it." "Oh please, you guys are not that slick you know." Chaeyeon said, making Yujin pout like a child. Minju cooed and pinched her cheeks, wiping away Yujin's pout and instead replaced it with a smile. "You guys are sweet, but gross at the same time." Yuri gave them a look of disgust before turning away, facing Yena. "Wait, wait, I a bit lost. How did this all started?" With Eunbi's question, the two started to tell their story and the others also shared how they found out about their little secret. In the middle of the talk, it was revealed that Sakura knew about the two and so Chaeyeon and the rest started bombing her with questions. "Why didn't you tell me?" Chaeyeon whined. "Eh? They asked me not to tell anyone. You know me, wifey, I'm a woman of my words." "Right, right you are." Chaeyeon sighed. "I still can't believe you two, really. Ya! Yujin! You better not do anything bad to my sister. See this?" Hyewon threatened, the protective side of her showing. "Yes, ma'am!" she did a salute gesture and frantically nodded. They all laughed at her and started watching the movie. With the cat finally out of the bag, the two now freely interacted with each other, holding hands with each other and teasing each other. This and that. The others were weirded out at first since they're seeing it up close but they just decided not to pay attention to it. However, Nako seems to be always in between the two and got tired of their flirting. She went to sit beside Chaewon before giving the two a look. They look so soft together. Respect the single community!  - I bet this is kinda boring 'no?
