Later that day, Marie was sitting in the library. She loved hanging out there, since it was calm and quiet, but most importantly, neither her parents nor her classmates ever went to the library. So, Marie was able to spend some time just by herself.∼Jeesu and Simon entered the library.“Hyung, you just go and find whatever you need to find, and I’ll look for a good book to read” Jeesu said to Simon.“Sure” Simon replied and they split up into two different directions. Jeesu headed off to the fantasy book section. As he got there, he noticed a familiar girl sitting in the corner. She was reading a book looking very serious. As she read on, her facial expressions changed. First she looked shocked; then her face softened; and soon she was smiling. Jeesu smiled to himself and went closer.“Uh… Marie, right?” he said carefully as he approached her. Marie lifted her head and smiled.“Yes. Hello Jeesu-shhi” she replied. Jeesu sat down to the armchair right next to her.“Hello. How are you?”“I’m fine, thank you. How about you?”“I’m great, thanks.  You haven’t bumped into anyone like you did to me this morning?” Jeesu smirked. Marie laughed quietly.“No no. I’ve been careful, just like I promised” she said. Soon Simon showed up.“Jeesu, what are you doing, harassing innocent girls in the library?” Simon asked smiling.“Hyung, it’s not like that. This Marie, she ran into me this morning”“Hello” Marie smiled to Simon.“Hi. I’m Simon” he smiled in response. He also sat down. Marie placed her book on the table.“So ran into you like…?” Simon questioned.“I was actually running and I wasn’t watching where I was going” Marie explained. Simon nodded.“Hey, Marie, do you want to go grab a bite with us?” Jeesu asked hopefully. Marie shifted in her chair.“Uh… I don’t know… I should probably go home” she replied hesitantly. She knew that her parents wouldn’t appreciate if she came home late. Jeesu grabbed her wrist gently.“Come on, Marie-shhi. Please come with us” he pleaded. He looked at Simon.“Yeah, you really should come with us. We should go eat some pizza!” Simon suggested. Jeesu furrowed his eyebrows.“No, we should eat sushi!” he said. Marie smiled.“Marie will decide” Simon smirked and stood up. Jeesu stood up determinedly.“Yes, Marie will decide” Marie looked at the boys.“Hold on, I didn’t promise anything yet.”“Pleeeease?” Simon and Jeesu pleaded. Marie rolled her eyes and stood up.“Fine” she sighed. Marie couldn’t pass on a chance to spend time with her first possible friends.   She gathered her belongings.“I think I feel like sushi today” she told them, making Jeesu poke his tongue out at Simon.When Marie came home in the evening, she was really happy. She had spent the afternoon with Simon and Jeesu, her new friends. She agreed to meet the boys and their other friends later that week. Marie opened the front door of her house carefully. The first thing she heard was glass breaking. She tried to sneak her way into her bedroom, but her mother saw her.“Where the hell were you?!” she screamed. Marie stared at her.“In the library, mother. Studying”“All evening?!”“Yes, mother” Marie lied. No way was she going to tell her the truth. Her mother huffed.“Well, at least you can try to succeed at school. That way you can get a good job and move the hell out here” she said. Marie nodded.“Yes, mother.”“Now, go to bed” her mother commanded. Marie could only nod and run to her bedroom.~As Jeesu was lying in his bed at night, he couldn’t help but smile. Just as he was about to fall asleep, his eyes shot open.“Damn, I forgot the book!”
