CHAPTER 15Hwasa sits up hasty, looking at Wheein confused, “What?” she asked loudly, her brows furrowed with the sudden request. She doesn’t understand what’s happening with Wheein anymore, Last Friday they were good, they even had sex, on Saturday morning they are sweet, all over to each other, cuddling on her couch while making out and being lazy together. When they arrived on Jeju, Wheein was excited, running around the beach, playing with the sand.  Later that evening she became quiet, and asked to go back first. She didn’t refused, thinking maybe she was really tired. On their second day she became distant, hesitation with every touch, on every kiss. The young woman pulls away whenever she tries to get closer, but she didn’t say anything, Maybe she was really not in the mood, she thinks, With wheein sudden departure earlier, Hwasa was worried to death, she tried to search her with her own but she failed, she called all the enforcers and police department, using all of her strings to find Wheein. When she saw wheein came home she was mad at first, wanted to scold her so bad, but she didn’t. She was just so happy her baby came back, safe and sound. Now, she wanted a termination. “What the hell is happening, Wheein” She asked again, but wheein is still crying, she’s still lying on the bed while her arms covering her eyes. She wanted to comfort the younger woman but she was too confused. “Answer me.” her voice is now stern, too strong and too commanding. Wheein sits ups after that, brushing her tears using her palm, doing her best not to look at Hwasa, “I just—I just want to.”,  wheein answered, almost a whispered. “Please”, Wheein looks at her, her eyes still red because of crying, she looks tired and too soft,  Hwasa heart ache, She doesn’t know if she was too used on always giving wheein what she wants, always giving in on every request, but tonight, giving in means losing wheein. She won’t give in easily.  Hwasa closed her eyes and sighed, she have to get on the root of this, “Baby”, She holds Wheein cheeks and  make her look at her, “Why?”, “Tell mommy why?”, but wheein just shook her head, “I can’t --- “Wheein said, “can’t you just please let me go?”, Her voice shakes, She already decided it earlier, while sitting on the beach holding a beer that she bought on the near-by store. Wheein contemplates everything that happened to her this past few month, just last year she was this hard working student, being admired by the people who knows her dedication on her studies and on helping her mom, She was grabbing every opportunity in front of her, she didn’t mind, she wanted to chase her dreams, Byul always compliments her by her passion and her values. Always been independent, always got herself back. Now, she was being insulted, being offered a chunk of money for a one night, being treated as some kind of a toy that can be picked up, used and thrown afterwards.FLASH BACK What do you think Hwasa thinks about you?She called byul, there’s too much thought on her brain, she needed someone to talk to, and she knows byul will help her figure things out. The moment byul picked the phone up, she started to tell everything, how they were on Jeju, The day she meet yongsun, she talks about how yongsun views sugar baby and how hwasa laughs with her, she talks about the insults and of course, she talks about Yongsun advancements, Byul’s initial reaction was mad, she was damn mad at yongsun, saying she wanted to get to Jeju just to slapped her face but after byul calms down she started to talk on a serious vote. “But Wheein, Are you mad because of Yongsun’s remarks on her former sugar baby? Or you are more offended because there’s a possibility that Hwasa thinks the same way?”She didn’t answer. She doesn’t know what to say, “Do you love her Wheein?”  She keeps her silence, she’s playing on the sand, trying so hard not to cry. Did she love her? She don’t know. Wheein never had a relationship before, she doesn’t know anything about love, She didn’t grew up on a complete, lovely and happy family so she had no point of comparison. “I don’t know byul” Byul sighed, “Because hearing what happened, If you think about it wheein, Isn’t thats the reality of a sugar baby-sugar mommy relationship? They will discard you the moment they don’t need your service anymore. Wheein, don’t forget that your relationship was more on transactional rather than romantic, It was a job.”“But that didn’t gave her the rights to insult me.” She argued. “Of course, If I were there I will kick her on the crotch.” Byul laughed on the other line. “You said you wanted to keep a distance to Hwasa? Why?”“Because---““Because you are scared. You are scared that Hwasa will do the exact same thing to you. To be honest wheein, you shouldn’t worry about Hwasa terminating your contract because on the first place, you know that there is an end of it. Unless”“Unless?”“Unless, you already had feelings for her”“Wheein, its either you get out or fall deeper.”“I hate how smart you sound over the phone” she jokingly said, trying to lighten the mood.“Oh, shut up! Anyway, buy me some souvenirs okay? Oh! And also a t-shirt” byul said while laughing, “I got to go Wheein, I’m here whatever happened. and also,  Always remember who you really are.”After a while, Wheein stands up, It’s already dark, She washed her face on a public comfort room near the beach and proceeded to go shopping on the souvenir.She already decided.   *End of Flashback*Hwasa pulls wheein closer to her, hugging the younger woman, “Termination of contract was supposed to be agreed by both parties, Wheein” “And I’m sorry, but as long as you can’t give me one good reason why I should let you go, I won’t”
