The night sky was bright as two girls surveyed the area on high alert. It was quiet, almost too quiet. The only sound was the bugs chirping and the sound of the two girls’ shoes as they walked. “It’s too quiet, Wendy-unnie.” Joy said in a hushed voice to the said girl. Her eyes were fixated on the path before her as he hands stayed on the guns on her waist. “Shh, Joy. Will find something soon, hopefully.” The two hunters continued their nightly routine, hoping to find the abominations of the night to destroy. Quick footsteps approached the hunters. The two girls were on high alert when they sensed something coming for them. “Get ready, Joy. They’re coming.” Wendy quickly pulled out her gun and was ready to kill whatever was coming. Joy quickly pulled out her handguns as the footsteps approached. Suddenly something leapt at them. A loud shot rang through the air as a bullet went through the vampire’s head. A blood curdling scream left its mouth as he disappeared into dust. With a sigh, the two of them let their guard down slightly. Almost immediately they realized that was a mistake when they were surrounded by a dozen vampires. “Look what we have here. Two delicious looking meals.” A vampire with gray hair said. He was obviously the leader of the group. Unfortunately, the two girls noticed this wasn’t who they were looking for. He was weak, too weak for them. All of them seemed to be the lowest ranking. Not too smart or strong. Joy and Wendy made slight eye contact and smiled lightly at one another, ready to have with the creatures before them. The vampires were no match for the hunters. Both girls showed their true skills by ripping the vampires to dust. Before they could even flinch, they were being destroyed. “That was fun, unnie. But they were weak.” Joy pouted looking at Wendy. She had grown up killing them with Wendy and she wanted to have more fun.“Someone keeps creating these pieces of shit.” Wendy growled a bit as she looked a t Joy. She hated these low life creatures more than anything. She was willing to lose her life as long as it meant destroying them. She was unsure of why so many newborns were being created all of a sudden. Something was happening but what? “Come one, Joy. Let’s go back home.” The two started to head back to where they were staying, wondering what tomorrow would bring them. From afar up in a tree, two vampires stood, watching the two hunters. Their red orbs fixated on the two, watching their every move. “They’re strong, unnie. Well not strong enough for us but still. The lowly things didn’t stand a chance.” Seulgi was admiring the hunters, they were strong. Her eyes were mainly fixated on the one called Wendy. Although she was human, she was just Seulgi’s type. Joohyun on the other hand was completely focused on Joy. Her moves, smile, breathing, none of it left Joohyun’s senses. “They must be here because the fluctuation of those lowly creatures. Someone in the council is having fun making those disgusting things.” Joohyun’s voice came out as a snarl as she thought of the council. The council was made up of purebloods and other high-ranking nobility of the vampire world. They were the people Joohyun despised the most and went out of her way to avoid them. “Come, Seulgi. Let us go. We must find some more information on them and the council. Especially since she looks like Sooyoung. I have a bad feeling.” Joohyun slipped away almost immediately with Seulgi following. The two had business to take care.
