After hearing what happened, Kevin immediately ran to the hospital Dongho told him. The man who was known for his angelic smile isn’t showing it anymore and was running for the life of someone important. He left the set of the TV show he was shooting with Alexander when it’s not even finished yet. He went to the hospital as fast as he can, thinking like he may lose someone if he didn’t move fast. He arrived at the hospital twenty minutes after Dongho’s call. He looked for Dongho and Soohyun near the emergency room and luckily, they were there. “Where is she?” He asked while panting. “She’s still inside.” Soohyun told him. “What happened?” “Take a seat—” I’m asking you what happened, hyung” Kevin acted stubbornly, making Soohyun surprised. “She collapsed after the photo shoot.” “Why?” “We don’t know.” “Why don’t you know?!” “Ya! Kevin!” A man from behind warned him. “Kibum…” They looked at him. “Whatta, why are acting like that to your hyung?!” He scolded Kevin. His disappointment increased since Kevin was there already. “It’s fine, he’s just worried about Claire and doesn’t know how to control it.” Soohyun told Kibum. They sat on the chairs there, waiting for the doctor to come out. A few seconds later, Eli and Alice came. They were followed by Kiseop, Alexander and their manager. All of them waited patiently. But still, they were nervous for the results. “Alice, do you know something about Claire’s sickness?” They finally asked Alice. Alice didn’t answer. She didn’t even look at their faces. Luckily, the doctor came out from the emergency room. “May I know who among you has a deep relationship with the patient?” The doctor asked. “Me, I’m her sister-in-law.” Alice answered. “Please come with me to my office.” Alice followed him. “May I go too?” Kevin and Kibum both asked. “What are their relationships with the patient, Miss?” The doctor asked Alice. “They are …” “I'm sorry, Miss, but if they don't have any deep relationship with the patient, I won't allow them to come.” They sighed and felt disappointment because of it. "Don't worry, I’ll tell everything when I come back." Alice smiled at them nervously, knowing that Claire’s medical results are complicated. Then they left. xXxXx
After a few minutes, the nurses from the emergency room brought Claire to a private room. Eli, Kevin and Kibum decided to wait for Alice outside the doctor's office while the others decided to go to Claire's room and wait there. After a hour, Alice came out of the doctor’s office. She didn't speak up about Claire's situation because she knew that it's a serious problem. She looked so pale and was shaking. "Alice, are you okay?" Eli came closer to her and held her. Alice nodded. "ee-ee-it's just" "it's just what?" Kevin asked her with a little irritated attitude. "Kevin!" Kibum warned him. "Don't act like that in front of me, Kevin Woo." An upset Alice told him. "Easy, chillax..." Eli told Alice as he put his right hand at her right shoulder. "It’s better if we go where others are." Kibum told them. And so they went there. As they enter Claire's room, they saw the others worrying about the mademoiselle. "Oh, how was it?" Alexander asked the group who just entered. "Claire's situation, it’s worse than before." Alice statements made everyone surprised and more worried. And so, Alice started telling the whole story. xXxXx
The story started four years ago, exactly May 29 in the evening, a scary car accident happened to Claire and her mother. Claire survived from the accident but suffered injuries in her body; especially inside. Sadly, her mother died while protecting her during the car accident. Because of it, Claire didn't just suffer physical injuries, but also emotional ones. Her recovery was slow, so she went to France with hopes that she'll be able to recover faster. But when she went to her father's land, she was not treated well. She was slowly recovering by the help of medicines given to her and rest. But, in exchange of those, she must follow her father's first and real wife. She was the daughter of her father's beloved mistress; that's why her father's wife and the children didn't treat her well. She still has a little luck though, because her father and her third older sister love her and care for her. Claire's physical recovery went well for two years after the accident, but her emotional recovery didn't. And sadly, it got worse because of Evo (chapter 09 Üv). Her physical and mental injuries were slowly healing, but it became worse when Claire was suffered emotional pain. xXxXx
"Is this the first time that she collapsed?" Kibum asked the young lady. "Ani, it’s the second time." Alice still can't look at their eyes. “Why did you two keep it from us?” Kevin asked her. “It’s privacy, Kevin.” Alexander told him. “Even if we told you about it earlier, it’ll be useless.” Alice stated. “It’s her life. She chooses her own way.” “What?! Is that what you think?” Kevin got upset about her words. “You’re her best friend, right? You must support her! She was rooting for you then for you it’s nothing!” “But she doesn’t listen to me! Every day, every minute, every second, I kept on reminding her, but she still overdoes everything!" Kevin wasn’t able to hold his emotions anymore. He walked out and slammed the door. "He's been acting weird." Eli told the others. “I know it’s going to happen.” Alice told him. “Kevin; he likes Claire.” “Eh?” They reacted, except for Kibum since he already knew about it.
