Forbidden Love (1/1)
Kiseop grabbed Minji’s arm to pull her towards him before she could leave the train. “I’ve always liked you.” he whispered before kissing her softly. She stared at him in shook as the doors to the subway closed. She looked back at the closed door when the train started moving and murmured, “I missed my stop…” She looked around like a lost child. She was confused about what just happened, confused about what she should do about it. “I should get down on the next stop and just take a bus to my mom’s house.”“Or you could accompany me to my house.” Kiseop made a cute gesture.Minji pressed her lips together and nodded softly. “We can talk more about what you did when we reach your apartment.”Kiseop held Minji’s hand as they walked out the subway until they reached his apartment. Minji just kept looking blankly ahead, not knowing what expression to show. This was all confusing to her. She has known Kiseop her entire life and never suspected for such a thing to happen all of a sudden.Minji stayed at the doorway, watching Kiseop walk in. He looked back at her and smiled. He gestured for her to follow him as he headed towards the living room. Minji looked at the building’s hallway, thinking it might be best if she left now. She hesitated to walk into Kiseop’s home. She awkwardly stood in front of Kiseop and forced a weak smile. He looked into her eyes as she lifted her chin. She watched him close his eyes slowly and lean towards her. She flinched when she felt his lips on her cheek.“Stay with me tonight.” he whispered into her ear. Her eyes started tearing up, not understanding why she had become emotional. He wiped her tears when he noticed them and pressed his forehead on hers. “All I want is your company. I need to feel that you’re mine for just one night.”She shook my head. “I’m married.” She sobbed, “I could never betray Soohyun.”Kiseop separated his forehead and looked at her. “I’m not asking to have sex. I’m asking for you to stay over like you used to when we were kids.”Minji hugged him and held on to the back of his shirt tightly. He wrapped his arms around her. “I missed being this close to you.” Minji smiled. “Your smell always soothed me for some reason.”Minji stepped away from Kiseop and wiped her tears. “Why did you tell me now after so many years?” she asked in curiosity. “You have had so many chances to tell me. If you supposedly liked me, why did you get other girlfriends?”“Because,” Kiseop smiled nervously, “I was an idiot and believed my sister when she told me before confessing to the girl you really like, you need experience with other girls that mean nothing to you.”Minji furrowed her brows, “Did you not notice all the failed relationships that player had?”“Who else could I have gone to for advice?” he pouted. Kiseop looked at Minji in confusion when she started laughing. “What’s so funny?”“It’s just-” She waited to calm down a bit to keep speaking. “It’s all so stupid~ I don’t know if it’s just me who thinks it. I remember how disappointed I was the day I was about to confess to you and you had already accepted someone else’s confession. I got a little depressed that someone had beaten me to it. I had never expected that you didn’t actually like her.” Kiseop stared at Minji with wide eyes.“You liked me?”“I had a HUGE crush on you.” she gestured with her hands.“So…” Kiseop twisted his lips. “The one married to you right now could have been me if I hadn’t made that mistake?”“Who knows?” Minji shrugged. “I might have probably still fallen in love with Soohyun.”“But, you wouldn’t have gone out with him if you already had a boyfriend.”“Who know if you and I would have even been able to last long? It could have felt awkward since we were already really close.”“It would have been different.”“It-”“SHUT UP!” Kiseop’s yell made Minji flinch. “Stop contradicting everything I say! Is there a situation where you feel like you DON’T have to have the last word?” Minji pouted and looked down. Kiseop felt guilty when Minji stood there awkwardly. “I’m sorry.” he ruffled her hair. They laid on Kiseop’s bed, staring at the ceiling when Minji’s phone rang. Minji sat up and sighed, “It’s Soohyun. I should leave now.”“Please, stay.” Kiseop looked up at Minji.Minji smiled at him, laid back down and intertwined her fingers with his.Minji looked at Kiseop’s peaceful face when he had fallen asleep. She slowly and carefully got up from the bed. She kissed his cheek gently before leaving.www.youtube.com/watch?v=EavJbOdaW10
