“What happened?” Minji’s dad pointed at the cut on her lip.“Something.” she put her bags into his car. She looked at him, “I get cuts all the time, it’s no big deal.”“Listen,” he grabbed her arm before she got into the car, “I need a favor. Talk to your little brother for me. I think he’s crossing over to the other side, if you know what I mean.” Minji raised a brow in confusion and shook her head. He whispered, “I think your brother is gay.”“I don’t see the problem.” Minji looked at him seriously. “You want me to confirm whether he is?”“No~” her dad whined. “I want you to convince him that that’s wrong.” Minji grimaced at him and gave him an evil glare before getting into the car.Minji pulled her little brother aside when they stopped to eat. “Little bear.”“How many times do I have to ask you to not call me that?” he sighed.“Little bear, do you know why dad thinks you’re gay? If you are, I won’t judge.” She smiled, “I actually think it’s cool to have a gay brother.”He rolled his eyes. “It’s because I entered the cheerleading squad.”“That’s so awesome!” Minji hugged him. “I bet you move better than the girls.”“Get off me!” he pushed her off. “I got in the group to be able to watch the girls stretch and stuff. I get to touch their hot bodies during routines.”“Pig.” Miji slapped his head. She stood and went to the line next to her dad. “He’s not.” she twisted her lips. Her dad nodded understanding what she was referring to. Minji and her brothers yelled running through the woods with a swarm of bees after them. Minji crawled into some bushes, waiting for the time to pass before she could feel safe again. She returned to the camp site and shoved her little brother to the ground as soon as she spotted him.  They resettled until the eldest brother carried Minji off.“Fucking moron!” Minji tried kicking him again.“It’s not like he made the bees angry on purpose.” the middle brother sighed.“Yeah.” Minji said sarcastically as she crossed her arms. “The stick he was holding just happened to attack the stupid hive. We’re lucky none of us got stung.” Minji rolled her eyes, “And where the fuck is dad?”“He went out to get a first-aid kit for your cut.” the eldest brother pointed at Minji’s bloody elbow. “He said he’s going to stop in a nearby store and buy some food too.”“Since the idiot forgot to bring food for the night.” the middle brother scoffed.“I hate it here.” Minji sat on the ground. “I just want to leave.”“Not happening any time soon.” the little brother said when he checked a text message he received. “Dad got lost on the way back.” The other three looked at him in shock. The little brother received another message and threw the phone into the river in anger.“What happened?” Minji asked curiously.“He said he’s giving up and staying at an inn for the night?”“What about us?” Minji furrowed her brows. “We don’t have food nor place to sleep.”“Let’s just call this an emergency and call the forest ranger.” the eldest rubbed his neck.“We can’t…” the middle brother twisted his lips. “Little bear just threw the only phone available into the river.”“I said I don’t like it when you guys call me that.” the youngest brother pouted.“Maybe we should call you dumb bear instead!” Minji stood up to hit him. Soohyun walked into his empty apartment. The thought of sleeping alone was weird. He had grown so used to Minji’s presence. He already felt lonely. He sat on the couch and picked up a book that was on the table. It was the book that Minji had been reading lately. She always asked about the things Soohyun seemed interested in, but it never went through his mind to ask her about what she seemed interested in.Someone knocked on the front door as he flipped through the pages of the book. He looked at the door in confusion, thinking he just imagined it. He stood up once he heard the door again. He was surprised to see Minji’s sister’s sister standing by the door. He raised a brow, “Chungae, what are you doing here?”“My boyfriend kicked me out of his house and my parents locked me out when they left to travel.” she pouted. “I couldn’t think of anywhere else to go. Please, can I stay just for one night? My parents return in the morning.”Soohyun looked at his watch. It was pretty late, he couldn’t just leave her in the streets. “I’ll set the couch up for you.” She grinned as Soohyun guided her to the living room.“Soohyun, um,” she batted her eyelashes and pulled on the hem of her shirt, “these clothes are really uncomfortable to sleep in. Do you-”“I’ll bring you some pajamas now.” Soohyun walked to his room.Chungae sighed in disappointment. Was Soohyun just pretending he didn’t notice she was coming on to him? He always looked the other way every time she tried flirting with him. She wanted Soohyun for herself since high school. She didn’t care he was married, it’s not like Minji was her sister.Soohyun returned to the living room and threw Chungae some clothes. She looked at them and pouted, “Don’t you have something that doesn’t belong to Minji? Her clothes are petite; my long legs would look weird in her pants.” She smirked as she looked at Soohyung.“I think my mom left a night gown last time she stayed over.” She grimaced as Soohyun went to search for it.“So, does your mom sleep in the couch when she stays over.” she asked when Soohyun handed her the night gown.“She sleeps in our bed with Minji and me since the bed is big enough for the three of us.“Would it be weird if you slept in the same bed as me?” she bit her lip seductively.“I think so.” Soohyun rubbed his neck. “Well, goodnight.” Soohyun went into his room.“Where’s my goodnight kiss?” she murmured.Chungae got up in the middle of the night and snuck into the room. Soohyun wasn’t going to pay any attention to her as long as he was still with Minji. And maybe she had to do a little something for that to happen. Chungae knew how overactive Minji’s imagination was and how her father cheated on her mother. All she need was to set up a trap that would make Minji not trust Soohyun no matter how much he would deny it. She took her panties off and whispered, “oops” as she dropped them in a corner of the room. “How did those get there?” she pretended to be confused. “My, my, I wonder what happens when a wife finds underwear that doesn’t belong to her in her bedroom.” After hours walking through the woods Minji and her brothers finally found the forest ranger’s cabin. It was two in the morning and they were starving. One of the rangers agreed to take them to eat something and then to the inn where their father was staying at.The middle brother banged on the father’s door until it was opened. “Hey, you guys are here~” the father grinned.“Fuck you.” Minji pushed pass him and threw herself on a chair. “What type of man abandons his children?” The other boys sat on the couch and glared at their father.“What was I supposed to do?” he shrugged.“Call for help, moron!”“Don’t talk to your father like that!” he pointed his finger at Minji. He took a deep breath to calm down and sat at the edge of the bed. “I’m going to pretend you never said such words. My baby girl would never do anything inappropriate. To me you are a virgin saint.”“Virgin saint?” the middle brother laughed. “You do know that that demon is married, right.”“Marriage does not imply sex.”“Hey, daddy,” Minji smirked, “earlier you asked how I got the cut on my lip. I got it while having sex with Soohyun this morning. He was the one who bit my lip.”“Don’t tell you father such a thing.” he furrowed his brows. She was tired of being treated as a child by her parents. It’s always been like this. They never listen to what she says and shut out any of her ideas.Minji stood up abruptly. “I have SEX! I love Soohyun’s NAKED body! You know what I like the most? I like it when-” The eldest brother ran towards Minji to cover her mouth.“I don’t think you need to give us vulgar details.” the youngest brother sighed.The eldest brother slowly removed his hand from Minji’s mouth, staring at her to make sure she wouldn’t continue. “Let’s just all take turns in the shower so we can go to sleep. It’s been a long day.” Minji grimaced at her dad as she sat back down and crossed her arms. Minji dragged her feet into the apartment and noticed Chungae drinking juice in the living room. “Hey.” she said as she continued to the room. She threw herself on the bed while Soohyun was getting up.“You look exhausted.” Soohyun laughed. Minji kept her eyes closed as she smiled.Soohyun’s mom came to visit in the afternoon. Minji walked in the living room, with a pissed off expression while they talked. “Wanna know what the first thing I noticed when I woke up?” she growled. She slammed Chungae’s panties on the table. “Explain what the fuck were these doing in our room?”“How am I supposed to know?” Soohyun looked at her in confusion.“Then tell me why Chungae was here when I arrived this morning.”“She had nowhere else to spend the night.”Soohyun’s mother scoffed. “Men are so pathetic. She already knows, just tell her you cheated.”“You’re siding with her?” Soohyun said in disbelief.“Sweetie,” Soohyun’s mother stood up, “I will give you the space to yell at this sorry excuse for a man.” Soohyun grimaced as he watched his mom walk out.“I thought you’d be the last person to ever do this to me.” Minji cried. “I thought I’d be stronger when this happened.” She sobbed, “I always considered my mom a fool for crying over a man who had betrayed her.”“Why don’t you trust me?” Soohyun frowned. “How many times do I have to tell you that you’re wrong for you to believe me?”“Believing in something doesn’t make it real.”Soohyun grabbed Minji’s collar firmly, “I told you I’m not lying.” he growled.“I don’t want to listen to you!” Minji pushed him off. “I HATE YOU!” she cried. “I don’t want to look at you anymore. It hurts me too much to know what you did while I was gone. I can’t believe you let me take a nap on the bed where you had sex with another woman. How could you do this to me!? Soohyun, I love you, but I don’t know what to think of you anymore. Have there been other times you’ve cheated on me? I thought you loved me too. I can’t stand picturing you with someone else. I- I don’t know what to believe anymore!”“Enough!” Soohyun yelled. “Stop acting like a child! Wipe your tears and take a second to think things through! What you’re saying is making no sense at all.” Soohyun grabbed Minji’s shoulders and said sweetly, “I would never hurt you like that. There is no other girl I’ve wanted to be more with than you. I do love you. You have to believe me when I tell you I didn’t cheat on you.”Minji took a step back to get out of Soohyun’s grip and wiped her tears. “Why do I feel I shouldn’t believe you?”Soohyun balled his fists. “Leave!” he growled. “Get out of my sight before I hit you!”“Fine!” Minji yelled as she left the apartment.Donho stared at Minji sitting on the floor of his room, not knowing what words to say to comfort her.“Sorry for being like this.” she forced a smile when she noticed Dongho’s insecurity. She held her head up as she twisted her lips. “I just… want to sleep with someone to even it out.”“I’m a guy too, you know.” Dongho tried seducing her.Minji laughed, taking it as joke. “You’re right, it’s stupid idea.
