[M] Chapter 9 – Unspoken Arra (1/1)

The Last Word 2minnieyah 29980K 2023-11-03

Jaejoong had come to the rosebush for the second time that month, and when he got there, he found a hotel key card wrapped in a grey shimmery translucent cloth, a silver ribbon tied elegantly around it. The note inside read:Come see me, Boojae; I’m waiting. -YJaejoong was there in what seemed like seconds, pulling off his clothes before he’d even made his way into the room. Soon after, happiness shoved its way into the smaller man’s heart as he felt Yunho throbbing deep inside him and he couldn’t believe how much he liked it. He’d heard that this sort of thing hurt, but there was no pain here; just pure unadulterated bliss. He peered into Yunho's dark almond eyes and ran his hands up his spine, accepting Yunho's tongue into his mouth when he bent down to kiss him. Jaejoong closed his eyes and moaned into the kiss, tears escaping beneath his lids as Yunho rocked them both, the sensations far too good to be true. The raven haired man could hear his own voice, the vibrations cascading off the walls around him as he whimpered his lover’s name.Yunnie; Yunnie, you feel so good…“Jae,” he suddenly heard a voice say, “Jaejoong-ah, wake up.”The man’s eyes shot open as he realized it wasn’t his Yunnie speaking, but Yoochun. He met his gaze and groaned, rolling his eyes, burying his face in his arms as he lay on his back, the tears breaking through yet again when he found he’d only been dreaming. This had been a recurring thing, but he could never stop the tears from forming after he’d woken. He couldn’t understand for the life of him why it was that he kept dreaming about the rosebush or Yunho for that matter. Of course, he knew he still loved him, but the rosebush thing had happened once, and that was two years ago. Then when he tried calling Yunho about it the next day, he’d found that he changed his number. Yoochun assured him, though, that it was because SM didn’t want the court cases involving late night calls between the two groups. Now, Jaejoong, Yoochun, and Junsu all belonged to CJeS, as JYJ. Jaejoong stopped smoking and drinking, but he only stopped because Yunho asked him to. If not for him, he may have attempted ending the misery again. If not for him, he wouldn’t have had any hope of reuniting with his lover. He stopped calling him his ex when he’d found his gift beneath the rosebush that day. Well, he also stopped because his new manager demanded it.The only time Jaejoong ever drank anymore was when he was celebrating with his best friends. Even then, though, he didn’t really drink much, partially because his friends were now dating, and Jaejoong needed to act as the designated driver when the two wanted to be frisky in the back seat. Somewhere within the two-year-long meltdown, Yoochun and Junsu had grown closer. Junsu had always been crying or fuming with anger, and Yoochun had to be the one to calm him down. Then one night, Yoochun decided to let him take it out on his body, and ever since then, they’d been inseparable. Of course, Yoochun took the role of the seme once Junsu had finished that night, and never allowed it to be anything other way unless it was their anniversary or Junsu’s birthday. One would think that the heartbroken love sick man would feel some sort of animosity toward the pair, but no. He felt envious sometimes, but knew that someday, he’d be able to hold his beloved again.“Jaejoong,” Yoochun fussed, shaking the man’s arm to jolt him into consciousness, “Jae, you’ve been sleeping all day; it’s four thirty, we need to go. SM’s announcing the new members to TVXQ tonight, remember?”The raven haired man sighed and sat up abruptly, yanking his arm from Yoochun's grasp. “I know,” he muttered angrily, and rolled out of bed, landing on his feet before moving through the motions of getting ready. He wasn’t at all excited for this. Having the men revealed that would surround Yunho from this point on wasn’t something to look forward to.Once he was ready, the three went to the car and made their way to the building, which had a large swarm of people surrounding a rather large stage. Jaejoong’s heart leapt into his throat when he saw Yunho standing upon the stage, his hands folded in front of him as he stood motionless like the Adonis that Jaejoong had always remembered him to be. My, how he matured in just two years, Jaejoong thought as he eyed the man his heart had suddenly sprung to life for. His hair was a bit different, but Jaejoong liked the new style and licked his lips as his eyes swept down the entirety of the black suit he wore.It wasn’t until Junsu muttered something about climbing onto the stage to beat the hell out of him that Jaejoong noticed Changmin standing beside him, wearing an equally stunning white suit, his hair cropped and swept to the side. Jaejoong averted his gaze when tears began to surface his eyes, blurring his vision for a moment. You’re here to congratulate them, Jaejoong; that’s all. Don’t cry.He couldn’t help it, though. When they parked and walked up to the mass of people in front of the stage, Jaejoong’s wet eyes locked in on Yunho, and as if by some radar, his lover was instantly aware of his presence. He met his gaze and felt the wrecking ball to his heart again; his boyfriend’s eyes enough to cause maximum damage. When the announcer introduced the two lone members of TVXQ, Yunho didn’t say their greeting, and he didn’t move. Changmin stopped and followed Yunho's gaze, undetected, of course, and before Jaejoong could process it, he found himself sprinting from the scene. Yunho's eyes didn’t leave his retreating form until he was out of sight completely. He looked to his two old friends in the back, and both were giving him death glares, arms crossed and narrowed eyes. Yunho watched as they slowly walked away, and he knew instantly that they would be speaking with him soon enough. He blinked once and apologized to the mass of confused people, returning to the façade he’d kept up for three years now, the fake, happy-go-lucky smile slapped across his lips. The two men on stage introduced themselves as TVXQ once again, getting a large welcoming applause from the fans standing before them, and both sighed in relief once they took care of all the formalities.Yunho noticed out of the corner of his eye that Changmin was staring and turned to him, his faux smile still on his lips. “Is there a problem?” He asked, his tone deadly, but his expression appearing as though he was ecstatic about the entire occasion.“You haven’t changed at all,” Changmin laughed, he too, needing to keep up a happy face for the pictures they would be seeing in the media later. “You still love that pathetic little shit, don’t you?”Yunho held his hand out to Changmin for a “handshake” and dug his nails into the back of his partners, squeezing with all his strength until he saw Changmin grimace in pain. He pulled him in for a hug and murmured a death threat into his ear, the two still looking as if they were the best of friends.“… You better not come home tonight, because I will be waiting to beat the living hell out of you,” he finished, and released him with a wide grin, patting his shoulder as he pulled away. And just as Yunho had ordered, Changmin did not, in fact, come home that night.
