The Beginning and Ending (2/2)

"I look pathetic, right?" I chuckled slightly. After a long pause, I wanted to say something but then I thought better not. I left the place and went to the couch in the living room, laid down, stared at the ceiling, after a while, I fell asleep with tears falling from my eyes.10:10

I knocked her room's door and turned the knob, it budged and I pushed the door open. I saw her, she was sitting on her bed, she's usually like this so I wasn't mind, I took in a breakfast meal for her on a tray and put it beside her.

"Eat up..." I said then left her right away and closed the door. Usually she would eat a little if I left her like this.15:30

I walked in after several hours, it passed lunch time already. I just bought some meal for her. When I walked in, she was still at the same spot, did not move even for an inch, just stared thoughtlessly at the wall. I looked at her food tray, I noticed that she hadn't touch it yet. She must still mad at me. I threw out the breakfast meal and fixed the lunch meal on the tray. Then came back to her, I took a seat beside her and put the tray on my lap. I took a spoonful of the meal and tried to feed her. She looked away.

"Open your mouth..." I said to her softly, she didn't react instead just stared at the wall. This was unusual.

"Come on, eat up. You must eat." I tried to persuade her. But she ignored all of the efforts. I thought she might need more time alone, so I gave up. I put down the tray beside her.

"Eat up, I'll leave." I stood up and left the room and her.19:30

I burst into her room, she's still much the same. Still at the same spot in a same position like I left her earlier. As if she were dead or had turn into a mannequin there. I got closer to her, pulled of the blanket that covered half of her body. I grabbed her hand and planted a soft kiss, then patted it softly.

"Don't be like this... please. Let's eat." I persuaded her, she listened but there's no reaction.

"You have to eat, you haven't eaten all day long. I don't want you to fall sick. You have to live... for me." At the end of my words, she gave a reaction and slowly got off from the bed from the opposite side, avoided me, then walked out.

I followed her from behind, she then took a seat and just started eating silently as if I wasn't there. I took a seat facing her and watched over her. She didn't even take a glance at me. It hurt. I was scanning her thoroughly, she got thinner than she used to be. Her skin was pale. There were no brightness that I could find in her expression. She was like a dead person.

I thought to myself 'What have I done?' and shed tears. I believed that she heard I was sobbing over there but she just ignored it, she didn't even take a look. Then after a few small bites, she got up and headed for her room. Instantly, I stood up and grabbed her wrist, and turned her around, facing me. I tried to look at her, she turned her face away. I tried again, and she looked at me, straight into my eyes, her tears fell. I saw a small reflection of myself in her eyes that full of fears and pains. She was broken apart and I was hurt looking at it. I was frightened seeing myself in that reflection, the eyes that used to look at me with full of love were already gone, left only fears, I was hurt, too painful for me to handle, I let her off from my grip. She stopped crying, she looked at me, her eyes widened in shocked when she saw me pulled out a gun from my back. I aimed it toward the front door with a big chain, that only I had the keys. I pulled the trigger and shot the chain, it broke. Then, I aimed the gun toward her, I smiled and tears were falling.    "I'm letting you go now..." at the end of my words, I pulled the gun over my head and pulled the trigger and I collapsed on the cold floor.    She was in shock and went over me, grabbed me and held me in her embrace. It felt warm. I could hear her shouts and sobbing over me.    "I'm s-so-sorry..." I stuttered my final words for her, my eyesight got blurry and her face faded from my sight.
