Tell Me Now – G.Nawww.youtube.com/watch?v=AkaEYeyPxZk ~•♥•~ As soon as they arrived at Incheon Airport, the group bid their goodbyes as they went home to their respective homes; Yoochun went for a ride with Junsu and AeRin. Yunho and MinYoung went home together to their parents’ houses. Yunho hailed for a cab that’ll take them home; he loaded the cab’s trunk with their bags before opening the door for MinYoung and then riding on the other side of the cab. As they entered the streets of Seoul, MinYoung felt glad that they were back. She gazed out of the window and watch the sceneries that they passed by. On the other hand, Yunho was watching MinYoung intently. He had never watched MinYoung that long that made him notice how beautiful she really is compared to his previous girlfriends. “Was I really that blind or was I just really dumb not to see her?” Yunho asked himself. MinYoung opened the window to breathe in the fresh air she missed for two weeks. The cab driving was driving in a moderate speed; enough to feel the breeze of Seoul’s air. As the wind blew, MinYoung’s hair flew away from her face and neck. Yunho breathed in and he was able to smell MinYoung’s vanilla scent that she always had on. Yunho looked down and saw MinYoung’s passive left hand beside her. Smiling, Yunho slowly reached for her hand. MinYoung was surprised at the contact and looked at her hand; only to catch Yunho lacing his fingers on hers. “What are you doing?” MinYoung carefully asked.“Nothing. I just want to hold your hand,” Yunho answered, still smiling.“Why?” she asked again. “I just feel like it,” Yunho shrugged his shoulders and then faced forward. Yunho and MinYoung held hands throughout the entire ride. Not long enough, they reached their parents’ homes. Yunho unloaded their bags from the trunk and paid the cab driver before it sped off. Yunho dropped MinYoung off to her porch. “Thank you, oppa,” MinYoung said softly.“You’re welcome,” Yunho smiled.“You should head inside. I’m sure your dad wants to talk to you,” she told him. “Do you really want to send me off?” Yunho joked.“Of course not~ but we know you guys have a lot to discuss,” MinYoung patted his arm. Yunho took her hand and enveloped it in his two hands. “Go on~” she urged him.“Alright~” Yunho obliged. He squeezed her hand one last time before running to his own porch. “Open your balcony tonight, alright?” he told her. MinYoung thought about it first before lightly nodding back. She took her keys from her bag and unlocked the door before entering her house. Once inside, MinYoung leaned on the door and heavily sighed. Then, she realized that her mom was nowhere in sight. “Umma??” “Baby? Is that you already??” MinYoung followed her mom’s voice and ended up inside the kitchen. MinYoung sat by a stool and placed her arms on top of the counter. “You’re cooking?” MinYoung raised an eyebrow; it has been ages since she saw her mom inside the kitchen, actually cooking.“Yeah, I figured that you might be hungry from the travel,” Mrs. Shin softly smiled as she stirred her stew.“A little,” MinYoung admitted. Mrs. Shin covered her stew to keep the steam in and went to the refrigerator to get her salad’s ingredients. MinYoung got off the stool and helped her mother. “So, how was Macau? Everything went well?” Mrs. Shin asked eager to hear her daughter tell her everything. MinYoung let out a sigh. “Oyy, what’s with the heavy sigh?” Mrs. Shin worriedly asked. MinYoung then told Mrs. Shin everything that happened in Macau: from the night Yoochun asked her to his girlfriend until the last night she spent with Yunho in Macau. Mrs. Shin listened intently without interrupting her daughter. “So that means Yunho has confessed to you?” Mrs. Shin stopped chopping in realization.“Huh? What made you say that?” MinYoung gave her mother a weird look. “Well, you said that he told you that he loved you,” Mrs. Shin placed down her knife and went over to her stew.“Yeah, but only as a friend~” MinYoung clarified. Mrs. Shin faced her daughter. “Why would he say something that you already know?”“I don’t know. I don’t even understand why he had to say that~” MinYoung shrugged her shoulders. “Then why don’t you just tell him the truth?!” Mrs. Shin crossed her arms. MinYoung stared daggers at Mrs. Shin.“I wouldn’t do something that’ll put our friendship at risk, umma,” she said monotonously. Mrs. Shin sighed as she approached MinYoung; she held her lightly on the arms. “Honey, when you love someone, you have to tell that person out loud because if you don’t, the moment will just pass by. Time will come and you’ll regret not telling him,” Mrs. Shin said. “And what if he doesn’t say anything?” MinYoung asked. “Then I think it’s time you say goodbye,” Mrs. Shin answered softly. MinYoung turned away from her.“That’s what I’m afraid of. Yunho oppa and I, we’ve invested too much on our friendship and I’m afraid that it’ll end because of me,” MinYoung told her. “And it’ll be alright with you if he’s the reason why your friendship ended?” Mrs. Shin raised an eyebrow.“Of course not~” MinYoung shook her head. “My point is, I don’t want to lose our friendship.” Mrs. Shin began to tap her fingers on the counter top. “It’s not the friendship that you’re actually concerned of; you’re scared of losing him, aren’t you?” Mrs. Shin asked after watching her daughter.“I’m scared of losing both,” MinYoung admitted, taking all the chopped vegetables into one bowl. “Sweetheart, this relationship that you’re having with Yunho isn’t helping you. You want your friendship to last and you want to have Yunho at the same time. If you can’t have him, at least you can still retain the friendship but if you lose your relationship with him, you lose Yunho as well.” “That’s the problem, umma~ I can’t sacrifice one or both. Call me greedy but Yunho oppa and our relationship are important to me!” MinYoung suddenly raised her voice. She bowed her head in apology.“Baby, you’re making this hard for yourself,” Mrs. Shin pulled her daughter into a hug. “What should I do umma?” MinYoung sobbed.“Just tell him already. If he doesn’t feel the same way then you say goodbye to him. It’s up to you if you still want to remain as friends,” Mrs. Shin told her as he patted her daughter’s head. ~•♥•~
