Earlier, they both saw Yoochun surprising MinYoung with her favorite white roses. When MinYoung accepted the flowers, MinGi squealed in such delight that the customers inside the coffee shop gave her disapproving looks. “What’s happening?” Changmin asked as he took the binoculars. He saw his hyung cutting up into bite size pieces to what seems like a well-done steak. After he has done that, he exchanged the plate with MinYoung’s. Both Changmin and MinGi continued to spy on Yoochun and MinYoung while they ate. While Changmin had the binoculars to himself, he shifted his view to where Jaejoong and HaRin were seated. He saw his friends gazing lovingly at each other; Changmin grinned from ear to ear. “Way to go, hyung!” Changmin cheered to himself. He then shifted his view back at Yoochun and MinYoung who were still eating. Suddenly, he felt his stomach grumble inside. “All this watching Yoochun hyung and MinYoung eat is starving me,” he complained as he set the binoculars down. He looked to his side and saw MinGi looking all dreamily. Changmin noticed that she was observing Yoochun and MinYoung too much. He waved his hand in front of her and she came back to reality.“Are you okay?” he chuckled.“Yeah. I just find Yoochun oppa and MinYoung unnie a cute couple,” she sighed. “I can’t believe that Yunho oppa has finally allowed unnie to go out on a date. I remember how you and the other oppadeul used to scare away the boys who tried to ask unnie out,” she added, giggling.“Yoochun hyung’s a great guy. Yunho hyung trusts him and he knows how Yoochun hyung loves MinYoung,” he told her. MinGi let out a sigh. “Let’s take a break from this spying thing; it’s making me hungry,” he said, standing up and headed to the counter to order. MinGi continued to watch Yoochun and MinYoung. Not too long, Changmin came back with two frappes and two pieces of blueberry pie. He took one frappe and pie and gave the other ones to MinGi. “How much are these, oppa? I’ll pay you the other half,” MinGi said as she took her wallet from her purse. Changmin placed his hand on top of hers.“It’s okay. I got it,” he told her.“Thanks~” she said softly. They both ate in silence and continued to spy on Yoochun and MinYoung from the coffee shop. Every now and then, they handed the binoculars to each other, taking turns. When Changmin turned to look at MinGi, she had a huge grin plastered on her face. “What’s happening?” he asked in excitement.“Yoochun oppa’s making MinYoung unnie laugh. Plus points for Yoochun oppa,” she told him when she handed the binoculars to him. When Changmin took the binoculars from her, he noticed some blueberry on the side of MinGi’s lips. “There’s something on the side of your lips~” he pointed.“Huh?” MinGi wiped the other side of her lips. Changmin chuckled and took a napkin.“Here, let me get it,” he offered and she let him. While Changmin wiped the blueberry away, he noticed MinGi’s pink lips. They look inviting to him that he wondered how her lips would feel if he kissed her. MinGi noticed Changmin staring. “Is it gone now?” she asked slowly. Changmin look back at her eyes.“Ah.. yes~” he said as he took his hand away from her face. Changmin was about to go back to eating but he faced MinGi again. “MinGi-yah~ can I tell you something?”“Sure~ what is it?” she asked. “You see, ever since I met you, I felt this kind of weird feeling inside,” he said.“Weird feeling?” she tilted her head to the side.“Yeah. I’m not sure if that’s what you girls call it but I get butterflies in my stomach whenever I see you. Also, whenever you’re not around, I’m not me. I feel like myself whenever I’m with you. Since high school, aside from my hyungdeul, I feel comfortable with you; I tell you my frustrations and problems and stuff and you’re always there to listen,” he said.“You’re saying this because you love my baking and cooking, do you?” she eyed him suspiciously.“MinGi-yah~ I love you. I love you because you’re Lee MinGi,” he said softly and MinGi melted inside. Changmin had her speechless. “I know this is sudden but I want you to be my girlfriend,” he told her.“For real?!” she asked in shock.“For real.” MinGi bit her lip. “Please?” he begged as he took hold of her hands. Changmin looked at her with so much love.“Yes,” she said softly. Changmin felt delighted. He began to lean in and kissed MinGi softly. “Finally!” they both thought. ~•♥•~
