They paired up and went to their spots. Jaejoong asked HaRin to join him in the restaurant where Yoochun and MinYoung will be having their date. He asked a waiter about Yoochun’s reservation and the two friends were lucky to get a free table where they’ll be able to see Yoochun and MinYoung. “Yoochun said he’ll be collecting MinYoung at 7. So, they’ll be here in just a few,” Jaejoong told her after checking his own watch. Suddenly, HaRin shook Jaejoong’s arm which startled him. “Look! Look!” HaRin excitedly pointed outside. They saw Yoochun’s car. Jaejoong sat up straight when Yoochun went to the other side of the car to open MinYoung’s door. They saw Yoochun spotting Junsu, AeRin, Changmin and MinGi, paired up in their spots. When Yoochun turned around, Jaejoong and HaRin couldn’t help but wave frantically at Yoochun. Unfortunately, Yoochun wanted them to go away. “Not a chance, Yoochun-ah. We’re here to stay and spy on you,” Jaejoong snickered. HaRin had her share of giggle as well. Jaejoong and HaRin covered their faces with the menus when Yoochun and MinYoung entered the restaurant. When Yoochun and MinYoung went to their table, Jaejoong and HaRin watched them. “MinYoung unnie’s glowing tonight,” HaRin said softly. “You’re glowing as well,” Jaejoong thought as he shifted his gaze at HaRin. “Aww~” Jaejoong came back to his senses and looked back at Yoochun and MinYoung. He just saw Yoochun handing MinYoung a bouquet of white roses, her favorite that was hiding under the table. “Well, I must say, Yoochun is a guy full of surprises,” Jaejoong sat back.“Then unnie’s lucky. She’ll in for surprises tonight,” HaRin giggled.“She’s not the only who’ll get surprised tonight,” Jaejoong told her. HaRin immediately looked at him.“Who else?!” she asked excitedly. Jaejoong snapped his fingers and a waiter instantly appeared. He whispered something at the waiter who just gave him a nod before leaving. “What was that?” HaRin asked.“You’ll see,” Jaejoong smirked. HaRin remained silent, unsure of what’s happening. The waiter appeared before them once again, but this time, he has a plate on top of his hand. The waiter carefully placed the plate in front of HaRin. On the plate was not food but a box and on the plate, a “Be Mine?” was scribbled on it in red icing. HaRin was definitely surprised and confused at the same time. “Oppa, what’s this?” she asked slowly, not sure if the box was for her. “Well,” Jaejoong placed his arms on the table and intently looked at HaRin. “I’ve been holding back since high school and this time, I don’t want to hold back any longer. If I did, I might lose you to someone else and I don’t want that to happen,” he told her. HaRin just gave him a stare. “That’s why I’m asking you now to be mine,” he said. Jaejoong took the box from the plate and opened it. He revealed a necklace with a pendant of an infinity sign on it.“Why the infinite sign, oppa?” HaRin asked curiously.“It’s a sign of my love for you,” he smiled at her. HaRin blushed.“So, will you be mine?” he asked again.“Is this what you want?” she asked softly.“Baby, you don’t know how much I want you to be. But I’m not forcing you if you don’t want to,” he told her. HaRin was touched at how Jaejoong cared for her and her feelings. She reached out to touch Jaejoong’s hand. “I’ll be glad to be called yours,” she told him and smiled sweetly. Jaejoong let out a sigh of relief. He stood up from his seat and clasped the necklace on HaRin. He sat back down and caressed HaRin’s face. “I love you,” he said huskily.“I love you, too, oppa.” Slowly, Jaejoong leaned in and softly planted his lips on top of HaRin’s.
