Hangeng was talking to his mother in the morning when Kyuhyun walked into the living room along with Sungmin."Good morning, aunty. " Kyuhyun and Sungmin wished  bowing."Good morning, kids." She said smiling back." Don't forget you are the bestman, Kyu." Hangeng's mother reminded. "No, Auntie I won't. Can I borrow Hyung for a second? " Kyuhyun asked."Yes, but get back soon. I need to plan things. There's so much to do." Hangeng's mom whined."I'll help you ,Auntie. " Sungmin said excitedly."Thank you, Sungmin. " Hangeng's mother said relieved.The two men left them and walked out of the living room."So..what did she say? " Kyuhyun asked as soon as they were in Hangeng's study."She didn't say anything. She just said she need time to think about it." Hangeng said sitting in the couch. Actually he was feeling hopeful that Heechul will say yes since  she didn't reject him then and there."Heechul will agree to it Hyung. I have a good feeling." Kyuhyun said reassuring. "Kyu,do you really think that she'll let go of her ex and fall for me?" Hangeng wondered."Yes, I do.  Because if anyone deserves her it's you Hyung. No one, not even her ex, would've loved her in the way you love her." Kyuhyun said sincerely. Hangeng smiled at him with gratitude. "Oppa, you are not being fair." Sungmin complained as she walked into the room."Why? What did I do?" Hangeng asked confused."You didn't even introduce your fiance to me. We are going to be best friends in the near future. We should get to know each other." Sungmin said pouting. "Hyung will introduce you to Heechul, Minnie. Don't pout." Kyuhyun said pulling her to his lap and pecking her making her giggle."Yah....get a room." Hangeng complained joking. "I would love to. What do you say Minnie?" Kyuhyun asked wiggling his eyebrows suggestively. "In your dreams baby Kyu." Sungmin said pinching his cheeks."Been there and done that." Kyuhyun said shrugging. "Aish... you pervert. " Sungmin said hitting him.Hangeng laughed along with Kyuhyun but stopped when he saw his phone going off."It's Heechul. " He said to the couple in front of him. His fingers where shaking as he pressed the green button. "Hello,It's me Heechul." She said from the other side. "Yeah...I know." Hangeng said in a small voice."Can we meet today?" Heechul asked feeling stupid."Yeah...sure. when and where?" Hangeng asked relieved that she was not going to reject him on the phone. "Same place you dropped me yesterday. Say after lunch. " Heechul asked."It's fine with me. I'll see you there." Hangeng said."No, wait. Don't hang up. " Sungmin said snatching the phone from Hangeng's hands."No.." Hangeng started to say but Sungmin was already walking away with the phone. "Hangeng? " Heechul asked confused What's going on."It's not Hangeng Oppa. I'm Sungmin his cousin's fiance." Sungmin introduced."Oh...hi." Heechul greeted. "Hi... I really want to meet you Heechul. Can I come with Oppa today?" Sungmin asked using her cute tone."Sure....if Hangeng's okay with it." Heechul said. "Oh Oppa won't mind. Thank you. See you later. I'll hand the phone back to him now." Sungmin said cheerfully. "I'm sorry. She just snatched the phone from my hand." Hangeng apologized as Sungmin handed the phone back to him."No,it's okay. See you later?" Heechul asked."Sure. Bye." Hangeng said hanging up. "Just for your knowledge I'm coming with you today. Heechul said it's okay with her. So when are we going?" Sungmin asked. "Heechul said okay? I'm going after lunch." Hangeng said. "Good. I'll see you after lunch then. " Sungmin said cutely before leaving the room."Hyung,I think Heechul is agreeing to our proposal. Otherwise she wouldn't have let Minnie come along. " Kyuhyun said happily."I think so too." Hangeng said smiling. Heechul got ready for her meeting with Hangeng and walked downstairs."Heechul, you have a fitting today." Jujin reminded her daughter."Umma, I won't be able to make it today. Please reschedule it." Heechul said."Why? Your grandma's dress is not going to fit you just like that. What's the important thing that you have to do today?" Jujin asked."I'm meeting Hangeng today." Heechul replied. "A date?" Jujin asked excited."Yeah, a date." Heechul lied."Well go on then. Don't make him wait." Jujin said happily. Heechul was already waiting for him when Hangeng walked into the cafe with Kyuhyun and Sungmin. "Hi...." Heechul said smiling at someone behind Hangeng. He turned to look back to see Heechul was smiling at Sungmin who was waving at her frantically. "This is Kyuhyun, my cousin, and Sungmin , his fiance."Hangeng introduced."Nice to meet you two." Heechul said offering both a smile. "I'm so glad to meet you. I wanted to talk to you the other day but I barely saw you after the announcement and also I didn't want to overwhelm you." Sungmin said  rantically bouncing with excitement. "Oh....it's a good thing that you didn't approach me that day. I was not in my best mood. " Heechul said looking at Hangeng. "I can relate because I was like that too after  my dad announced my engagement with Kyu. Seems like we have so much in common. We are gonna be very good friend's in the future. " Sungmin squealed."Yeah...I think so too. " Heechul said unsure while glancing at Hangeng. Kyuhyun noticed this and pulled Sungmin with him saying he needed some coffee."I'm sorry. She's not always like this." Hangeng apologized."It's fine. I like her." Heechul said shaking her head.They sat in silence for a few minutes after that both of them not knowing how to start."About your proposal. " Heechul said finally breaking the silence."I thought about it. I'll agree to it if you accept some ground rules that I have." Heechul explained. Hangeng couldn't stop the smile that broke out of his face . He just wanted to do a victory dance. "Sure...I'm all ears." He said happily."First of all , are we going to live with your parents after the wedding." Heechul asked ."No, we will move into my condo." Hangeng said."That's good I think. I want a room for myself. And I don't want you to have the keys to it. Don't get me wrong. Its not because I don't trust you or something its because I'm a very private person." Heechul explained." No, its okay. I understand. You can change the locks and keep the key." Hangeng said." Okay. The next thing is that. I'll come and go as I please you are not to question me. And I won't you. I'll pay the bills since you own the house we can't share a rent. Is that okay?" Heechul asked."Well...about the coming and going part. You should at least be home by 11. And please tell me if you get in late." Hangeng said carefully." I mean its okay with me but if someone asks me where you are I should answer since you are my wife to them." Hangeng added when he saw Heechul frowning."Well...when you put it that way. Its a reasonable request. I think I can do that." Heechul nodded her head."Thank you." Hangeng said relieved that Heechul agreed to it." About paying the bills. There's no need for that . " Hangeng said"I don't want to feel like I'm mooching off you. Please let me do it my way." Heechul said."Okay...." Hangeng said defeated." And I have a cat. I plan on bringing him with me." Heechul said."I have no allergies but I have a dog. You don't have to worry though Rongrong is not the violent type." Hangeng assured."Well, Heebum is a violent cat. So..." Heechul looked at him expectantly."Well,then I'll let Rong rong  stay with my parents." Hangeng said smiling." Thank you. I'm very close to Heebum. I assure you that he won't cause any trouble for you." Heechul promised."Nah....its fine. I have something to say." Hangeng said looking at the floor." What is it?" Heechul asked worried that he's going to back off."Its a request. Can we be friends? I mean just friends." Hangeng asked hopefully."I don't think that's a good idea Hangeng. Its better we don't get close to each other. I mean it'll be easy when the time comes." Heechul said looking down."Its just friendship Heechul. Just think about it." Hangeng urged."Okay I'll think about it." Heechul nodded her head reluctantly." I have someone for you to meet." Heechul added before motioning at someone to approach them."Hangeng turned around to see three men walking towards their table. He identified the man in the middle from yesterday.The man in the left hugged Heechul as she stood up." These are my best friends. Yunho, he owns this place." Heechul said nodding at the man hugging her." Siwon ." She said pointing at the middle one." And Hyukjae." She said introducing the third one."Its nice to meet you guys." Hangeng said smiling at them."I'll go talk to Sungmin. You guys catch up." Heechul  said leaving Hangeng with the three ."Its nice to meet you too , Hyung." Siwon said smiling widely. The other two continued to glare at Hangeng."Heechul told us everything. If you so much as make her sad. You'll pay. Are we clear?" Yunho asked in a threatening tone."Yes. I would never hurt her intentionally." Hangeng said nodding his head."Intentional or not. You shouldn't hurt her. " Hyukjae warned."Hyung come on let Hangeng Hyung breathe. I'm sure Heechul already explained to him about the rules. He won't do anything wrong." Siwon said trying to bring peace." You won't do anything , right Hyung?" Siwon asked smiling but Hangeng can see the threatening vibe in it."Of course I won't." Hangeng said looking at the three. Suddenly making Heechul fall for him became a thousand times harder. "Hi.." Heechul greeted Sungmin as she got to her table."Oh...hi. come sit here." Sungmin said eagerly as Kyuhyun pulled out a chair."Thanks, Kyuhyun right?" Heechul asked."Yes..." Kyuhyun said offering a smile."Have you selected your dress yet?" Sungmin asked excited."Actually I'm wearing my grandma's wedding dress, its a custom." Heechul explained." It must be vintage. l like it. Can I see it before the wedding?" Sungmin asked hopefully." Sure. You can come with me when I have the fitting for the dress. I'll give you a call ." Heechul offered."Thanks. Its just that I'm not from here. I'm from Busan so I don't know much people from here. Actually you are my first girlfriend. That's why I'm so excited." Sungmin explained." Oh...I don't mind. I'm happy that you see me as your friend." Heechul said smiling. Kyuhyun smiled happily when Sungmin smiled back at Heechul. He always felt bad for Sungmin that she was friendless here. He actually felt grateful to Heechul for accepting Sungmin."My wedding is in one month. Can you help me choose a dress?" Sungmin asked hopefully." Sure. My friend Zhoumi is a designer. We can ask his help too." Heechul agreed. Kyuhyun left the table leaving the girls to talk .Hangeng excused himself from Hyukjae as Yunho and Siwon already left the table."I like your fiance." Kyuhyun said nodding his head in approval."Should I and Sungmin be worried?" Hangeng asked faking horror."Nah...Minnie is still the best." Kyuhyun said shaking his head."I have an important thing to do. Wish me luck." Hangeng said looking at Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun eyed him knowingly and held his thumbs up" Good luck Hyung." He said. Hangeng took a deep breath and walked to Heechul's table. "Hangeng?" Heechul asked turning to look at him.Hangeng took a deep breath and got down on his knee."What are you doing?" Heechul asked surprised.."OMG...."Sungmin squealed practically jumping. She took out her phone to capture every moment of the proposal."I know we just met days before. And we don't know much about each other. But I'd like to know you more. Be my friend. So Kim Heechul Will you?" Hangeng asked staring right into her eyes.Heechul was stunned to silence as she was surprised by his sudden proposal. But she was rendered speechless when she saw the emotion in Hangeng's gentle eyes."Psst ..answer him." Sungmin whispered nudging Heechul with her elbow." Yes.." She whispered not breaking their eye contact. Hangeng smiled widely taking her left hand in his and slid the ring." Perfect." He murmured fighting an urge to kiss her ringed finger.Everyone in the cafe cheered and whistled as Hangeng got up smiling widely."It was so cute . Show me the ring." Sungmin said happily taking Heechul's hands in hers to examine.Heechul was beyond caring as she was staring at Hangeng's face searching for the emotion she saw. Praying that it was just her mind playing tricks on her because it scared her knowing that it was love.
