You sat down on a chair. "There's something I need to ask you.""Go on," Soohyun turned to look at you."Why am I here?" You looked down."To ask me something," Soohyun said. He knew what you meant, but he was just playing with you."No, I mean why am I in Neverland? This place is so unlike where I'm from, I almost thought I had gone crazy when I first came here. Why can't I go home? I miss my sister so much. Why does Kevin insist on keeping me here?" Those were all the things you had been curious about since the day you arrived."Is he still treating you badly?" Soohyun frowned. "I'll have a talk with him if-""Oh no, he's treating me very well," you said hastily. "He's kinder and more friendly." You smiled. He saw the look you had on your face and chuckled. *Kevin might not have to worry so much anymore.*"He spends more time with me too," you went on. "We walk around the grounds, he plays games with me, we explore the castle together, and-""And?" Soohyun looked at you, expecting you to go on."N-nothing," you stammered. You had almost told him that the two of you had been meeting at the tower frequently for him to teach you piano. You had remembered what Kevin had said about that area being off-limits.Soohyun noticed your nervous expression, but did ask any more."So, how have you been with th others? You don't spend enough time with me," he glared at you.."Sorry," you said, feeling guilty. "I know!" you exclaimed. "Let's have a picnic!""What?" Soohyun blinked. "What's a picnic? Is this another human activity?""Well, when I was younger my mom would make delicious food and we would pack them together. The our family would take them to a park, the beach, or by a lake and sit under a tree and eat them. We'd play badminton, chase each other, any game we wanted. When we were tired, we would fall asleep under the tree together. It was so much fun. You smiled at the memory.Soohyun studied you softly. *She must have been very close to her parents, I wish I had those same experiences with mine.*He got up. "Where are you going?" you asked, looking up at him."Let's go find the others," he offered you his hand and the two of you disappeared.Half an hour later, you and the 7 brothers were in the giant kitchen that you had been in before to make Kevin's cake."Remind me again why you woke me up for this, Soohyun," Eli yawned, leaning against a wall."I know why he woke you up, to get rid the your laziness, you've been hiding in your room a lot again. You need some fresh air and exercise," Alexander nagged.Eli grumbled, but didn't dare argue with his oldest brother. "Well, I've been inspired by ____'s human hobbies. We're going on a picnic!" Soohyun said, smiling."Wow, really?!" you exclaimed. The others looked at Soohyun with confused expressions on their faces. "What's a picnic?" Dong Ho asked, leaning against a counter. You explained what it was again, and soon the others were smiling as well. "It's perfect, Alexander needs time to relax a little after all the work he's been doing. And Eli can get out a little too," Soohyun clapped his hands together. "Sounds good to me," Kibum said. The brothers nodded in agreement."I'm not doing this," Eli disagreed. "It's a waste of my time." He walked out of the kitchen. Alexander made to go after him, but you ran after Eli first. "Wait!" you said, finally managing to block his way and catch your breath. "Please come with us, it'll be a lot of fun!""Why should I?" Eli frowned."Because I haven't gone on a picnic since I was a little girl, and to be able to go on one with all of you would make me very happy.""I dont' like these kind of things. They remind me of..." Eli faltered, unsure of what to say.You looked at him and patted his shoulder reassuringly. "It's alright if you don't want to tell me anything now. I don't mind."Hearing those words comforted him slightly. "Anyway, you guys can go without me. I treat you terribly, wouldn't you prefer it if I wasn't there?" Eli couldn't understand why you wanted so much for him to go. "No, I like spending time with you, with all of you. Even though you are a little mean sometimes, I know that's not how you really are. I know you're a good person," you smiled at him.Eli softened. *She's always so nice to me, even though I'm always so harsh on her,* he regretted his actions. You looked back at the direction of the kitchen. "We should get back and help the others get ready. At least, I'm guessing that's why Soohyun called everyone there. If you decide to come with us, please do!" You waved at him and started heading back.Eli thought for a moment and sighed. *Oh, what the heck...* He rolled his eyes and ran after you."Fine, I'll come!" he shouted. You turned back and beamed at him. "Come on then, let's go!" The two of you headed back to the kitchen. On the way back, you skipped and twirled lightly. The wind was softly blowing in your hair and dress.*It's such a good day for a picnic. Sunny, yet not too hot. Everyone's in good spirits today," you thought, thankfful.Eli smiled as he watched you play. *She isn't actually that bad. From now on, I'll try not to be so sad about the past. I'll be kinder to her and the others.*
