Getting To Know You (1/1)

www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZX22FK5mSY **************You noticed that the entire time Kiseop and Kevin were fighting, the other brothers had occupied in doing their own things. *How could they not care if their siblings got hurt?*As if Dong Ho had read your mind, he said, "It's not that we don't want to stop them, it's that there's no point if we did. They'd probably start fighting again in the next couple hours anyway." He happily chewed on a drumstick."Besides," Kibum spoke up, "This is nothing compared to what they normally do."You looked at them, stunned. If this was nothing, you didn't dare imagine what was considered dangerous to the boys.*How can Kevin and Kiseop fight with one another so much? Before Hwa Young got sick, we stayed together and I loved taking care of her. Even after she was diagnosed with leukemia, I got even more worried and concerned about her.* You missed your sister, even though it had been less than a day since you had been gone."Well, then do you tell your parents that they fight like this often?" you asked gently. The boys looked at you."Our parents are dead," Soohyun said. "Oh... I-I'm sorry. Mine died too, when I was young..." you said sadly. Realization hit the boys. They knew that you must have experienced the same pain as they had. *She's just like us,* they thought. Dong Ho pitied you, his heart went out to you. *It must have been especially hard for her. Even when our parents died, we could still live in this perfect world, but she must have endured a lot of pain and troubles.*"Well, at least you have more company now, right? Don't worry, you don't have to be afraid of us. We won't hurt you." Alexander reassured. "Yeah," Kibum said. "Let's be friends. I'll teach you all the tricks in the book." He winked. Eli saw where this conversation was going, and grew bored. Sighing, he rested his head on the table and went back to sleep. "____, these two," Soohyun pointed to Dong Ho and Kibum, "are the most mischievious out of all of us. Don't get too influenced.""And try staying away from Eli," Alexander added, keeping his voice low so that his other brother couldn't hear him. "You don't want to get on his bad side. From the looks of it, you look pretty... breakable. And we don't you to get hurt." Slightly touched that someone would actually worry about you, you nodded. "Okay, I was planning on staying away from him anyway, he scares me a little," you shivered. "Don't get me mad, either, or I might just bite," Dong Ho joked. You smiled at him. "Okay, you're too nice, I don't think there'd be anything to argue about." Dong Ho felt his face heat up."What Dong Ho said is actually true. It's not just Eli, all seven of us can harm you greatly if you're not careful," Soohyun said picked up a grape and popped it in his mouth. You stoped smiling. Your thoughts went back to when Kevin had hurt you earlier that day by the river. The violent look in his eyes when he threw you into the tree. The pain of broken bones. The fear of him hurting you even more."When we get mad, there are times when we cannot control what we do. We break things, destroy things, hurt people. The castle doesn't get harmed, but you might. You're the only human here. You're vulnerable. And if you're not careful, we can hurt you." "But don't worry, we have self control," Kibum added quickly, seeing your expression. "Kiseop is the most controlled out of all of us, so I suppose you're the safest around him. Though Kevin might not like that," he chuckled. "Mind you, Kevin's got the worst temper out of all of us," Alexander said. "So be extremely careful and try not to upset him. But I doubt he'll do anything to you now, since you just got here." "He hasn't... hurt you or anything, has he?" Dong Ho asked, suspicious."Um... he hasn't," you said, worried that Kevin might get mad if he found out you told his brothers. "____, you know that if you don't tell us the truth, we can punish you," Soohyun warned. "Okay, I'll tell you. He forced me to come here with him," you said quietly. "Is that it? Thats sounds fine," Kibum said, relieved. You frowned slightly. You didn't like that they didn't find taking someone against their will wrong. "I thought you meant he hurt you in some way," Soohyun smiled. "I did." Kevin came into the hall again and went to the table, standing beside your chair. He looked much calmer now. Then you saw his hand. It was bleeding very badly, pieces of glass stuck in it. You gasped. "What happened to your hand?!"By instinct, you quickly took his arm and gently pulled it towards you. The others didn't look surprised by his wound, but merely looked at the two of you with amusement of their faces."Yah!" Kevin snatched his hand away from you, annoyed. "It must hurt so much. If that was my hand, I would be in so much pain..." "It's just a pain to have to heal myself all over again, that's all. It doesn't hurt." Kevin scoffed. But he was wondering why you were so worried about him. He placed his other hand over the injured one. When he took it off, his hand was perfectly healed. "How did you do that?" you stared at him in wonder. "Come, I'll explain it to you. Follow me." He nodded to his brothers, signalling his leave. Then he took your hand and pulled you out of your seat, dragging you out of the hall with him. You turned back and gave a small wave the others, and they smiled back at you. When you left, Dong Ho laughed and said. "I like her, she's different." "Yes, I think so too. She'll be interesting to have around the castle, that's for sure," Alexander said, leaning back against his chair and putting his hands behind his head."And she's well behaved, unlike you hooligans," Soohyun eyed Kibum and Dong Ho, who gave him innocent smiles.
