Chapter 2 (1/2)

After they reached the dorm, Sunggyu and Woohyun grabbed some food and drinks and watched horror films for the next couple of hours on Sunggyu's laptop. Hoya was watching t.v with Sungjong, Dongwoo had fallen asleep on the floor and Sungyeol was trying to fix a hole in one of L's shirts as he watched on in agony.

Sunggyu was seated on the floor beside Woohyun's bed while Woohyun sat on his bed staring at the laptop. Sunggyu was trying hard not to think about Tae Mu while Woohyun was trying hard not to think about Sunggyu. Sunggyu hit Woohyun with the back of his hand, "I can't take this. We both know she's going to run upstairs when she could just run out the back door. Seriously, why would you do that?"

"She's just scared. She's too freaked out by the killer to think straight."

"So?! She should have thought about 95% of the horror films that exist in the world, and realized she should run out the back door."

"Well hey, you've never been in that situation before, maybe you would do what she did too."

"Or maybe I wouldn't."

"I guess it doesn't matter in the end. I would come and save you no matter what. The great Nam Woohyun, coming to the rescue of the old Kim Sunggyu. The trusty Woohyun is always there for him no matter what! That's how great he is. You should be thankful."

Sunggyu didn't respond and Woohyun looked over at him, laying a hand on his shoulder, "Hey, what's wrong?"

Sunggyu started and looked at Woohyun, "Oh. N-nothing, It's just...I can trust you right?"

Woohyun sat up to face him, "Of course. Why?"

Sunggyu looked away, "I really wasn't sure who to talk to about this..umm.."

Woohyun put his hand on top of Sunggyu's, "Hey, you can tell me anything."

Sunggyu looked up and gave him a half smile, "Thank you. I've.....been wondering lately, about whether I was maybe.....interested in guys."

Woohyun's heart fluttered with happiness, "You mean wondering if you might be gay?"

Sunggyu nodded, "Yeah. I-I wasn't sure! But then tonight, you remember how I bumped into someone at the restaurant? I bumped into him again when I went in to get my sweater. And I felt, you know, like it was a boy and a girl talking on a drama! Ugh, I can't believe I just said that. So cheesy..."

Woohyun tried desperately to not show any sadness. His world had just shattered into millions of tiny painful pieces, "So that's the so-called waitor you were talking to right?"

Sunggyu blushed, "Yup. I'm not a great actor am I?"

Woohyun scrunched his face into a smile, trying to be positive, "No, you're not. Listen, Sunggyu, I'm honoured that you decided to tell me this first. And hey, this guy might be interested in you too."

Sunggyu smiled and sighed, hugging Woohyun, "Thank you Woohyun. It means a lot. I've been so worried about this."

Woohyun smiled the best he could and hugged him back, "You don't have to worry anymore. Are you gonna annouce it to everyone?"

Sunggyu let go and looked scared, "Should I?"

Woohyun shrugged, "If you want to, yes, you should."

Sunggyu nodded, looking down, "We'll see."

Woohyun stared back at the laptop, trying hard not to pick it up and throw it across the room. He picked up the laptop and gave it to Sunggyu, "I'm really tired, I think I'm just gonna go to sleep."

Sunggyu stared at the laptop and looked up at Woohyun, "Yeah, me too."

Woohyun flopped down on the bed and turned away from Sunggyu, feeling his eyes start to tear up.

"Good night, trusty Nam Woohyun," Sunggyu's voice echoed from across the room.

"Good night," Woohyun croaked as he began to tear up a little, and closed his eyes, hoping he would be able to sleep.

Sunggyu woke up and looked at the clock. It was 7:00am. He didn't feel like sleeping in and stood up, walking past a sleeping Woohyun and smiling. What would he do without Woohyun?

He walked into the kitchen and realized that he was the first one up. He started to make some pancakes for everyone and was about to start making some coffee when he heard a noise coming from his room. It was his phone! He tried to walk quickly and quietly into his room and when he got there, he grabbed his phone and trodded back to the coffee pot in the kitchen. It was a message from Tae Mu. Sunggyu's heart started racing as he opened it.Hey Sunggyu, wanna have lunch today?Sunggyu stared at the phone, frozen. He was hoping for this moment to come quickly but now he was freaked out. What if someone saw them together? Would they think it's odd? Would they suspect anything? Is Tae Mu even interested in him?

Suddenly he heard a voice behind him, "Sunggyu Hyung, what are you making?"

Sunggyu dropped his phone and turned around with a yelp, "Nothing!"

Myoungsoo stared at him with an unemotional face and looked down at the phone on the floor, "Are you....cooking cellphones for breakfast?"

Sunggyu quickly picked up the phone, checking if it was broken and then looked at Myoungsoo, trying to think of what to say.

"Um, no, I just had a message on my phone and I was trying to read it. You interrupted my moment of concentration."

Myoungsoo crunched his face in confusion, and then shook his head, "You're making pancakes? Great."

Sunggyu nodded, "Yeah, could you put the coffee on please? I'll be right back."

Sunggyu rushed out of the kitchen to the bathroom without waiting for L's answer.

He quickly started to text Tae Mu back.Sure. Just text me the place.Just as he sent the message, he felt a tap on the shoulder and jumped letting out a loud, "AIGOO!"

He turned to meet the face of Sungyeol who yelped, "Hyung! What'd I do!?"

Sunggyu sighed, "Nothing," and walked out of the bathroom, back into the kitchen.

When he got there, he found Hoya taking care of the pancakes and Myoungsoo and Sungjong drinking coffee and talking. He went to help Hoya, and Dongwoo walked in a couple minutes later. Sunggyu realized the only person missing was Woohyun and he decided to go wake him up.

Woohyun was lying face down, with his head stuffed under his pillow. Sunggyu knelt down beside him and smiled, placing his hand on Woohyun's and slowly shaking it.

"Woohyun, hey, wake up. We're making pancakes!"

Woohyun slowly pulled the pillow off of his head and opened his eyes, "Sunggyu?"

Sunggyu layed down beside him and shook him, "The one and only! Now get up!"

Woohyun stared at Sunggyu and remembered what he had told him last night. He sighed and mumbled, "I don't wanna get up."

Sunggyu turned on his back, "I'll give you extra pancakes if you do. Come on, Woohyun, for me?"

Woohyun knocked the covers off and turned to stare at the ceiling, "Just give me a minute."

"Fine. But I'm not leaving."

A couple seconds later Sunggyu turned to Woohyun, "The guy I bumped into at the restaurant....he texted me."

Woohyun turned quickly to look at Sunggyu, "You gave him your number?"

"Yeah. He felt bad for bumping into me and knocking me down so he offered to make it up to me. He texted me about having lunch with him."

Woohyun looked away, "That seems kinda fast. Sheesh, you'd think he'd just say sorry and leave you alone."

"Woo-"

"What's this guy's name?"

"Young Tae Mu."

Woohyun sat up, "Like the Young Tae Mu?"

Sunggyu sat up as well, "Yeah, why?"

"He's openly gay."

Sunggyu's mouth dropped open, "Seriously?"

"YES!" Woohyun almost shouted, thinking that for sure now, this guy must be interested in Sunggyu. Just great.

Sunggyu stood up, "T-then, that's good right? I should be....happy?"

Woohyun sighed, wanting to lie and say that he thought there was no way that Tae Mu could ever be interested in Sunggyu, but he just couldn't let Sunggyu get hurt, "Uh, I think you should be hopeful."

Sunggyu nodded, "Okay. Oh! Pancakes! Come on, I want you to be served first."

Woohyun let Sunggyu grab his hand and pull him into the kitchen, knowing that he would have a horrible day ahead of him.

Sunggyu had finished getting ready. He had on some dark grey jeans, with a black t-shirt and army green jacket on. He had no idea what to tell the others about where he was going. He had had a lot of confidence yesterday. Today, not so much. He turned to look at Woohyun, who was seated on Sunggyu's bed, reading a book.

"I'm gonna head out."

Woohyun looked up, his heart screaming for Sunggyu to stay, "Hope everything goes well."

Sunggyu smiled, "Thanks Woohyun."

He walked out to see everyone sitting on the floor, talking. They all turned to look at him as he walked out and Sunggyu froze, paralyzed with fear.
