Chapter 1 (1/2)

"Okay, guys are you all ready for the performance?" came the voice of Kim Sunggyu.

The agreements of the other six members spread across the dressing room. They were ready for their last performance of the week. They had been performing non-stop, and after this performance of "The Chaser" they would be able to rest for a few days.

They started making their way out of the dressing room towards the stage. Woohyun turned to meet the eyes of Sunngyu, who gave him a big smile that Woohyun gladly returned. He was excited to be able to take a few days off. He had been doing so much for the past month that he hadn't gotten to spend as much time with the other members unless they were practicing. Especially Sunngyu. Woohyun felt like they were starting to grow apart, but after today, he knew the time off would bring them back together. He couldn't help but think about how close Sunggyu and him had gotten before all of this craziness with the new album and his new acting job. Woohyun had almost found the courage to reveal his true feelings for the leader, but he just hadn't had the time. Now, maybe he would be able to.

They stood, waiting for the MC's introduction. Woohyun looked over at Sunngyu one more time and smiled. He just hoped he wouldn't forget the dance moves because he was thinking about Sunggyu. That would be horrible. Woohyun was brought out of his thoughts by the MC's voice.

"Performing their hit song, "The Chaser," here's Infinite!"

"Great job, guys. You were perfect out there!" their manager said happily, as the members jumped into the van. Sunggyu plopped into the passenger seat and said, "Thanks, Hyung."

The other members thanked him as well. Woohyun purposely sat behind Sunggyu so that he could be closer to him. Woohyun leaned over and placed his chin on the shoulder of Sunggyu's seat.

"Hey Sunggyu, you were really good out there tonight."

Sunggyu smiled towards Woohyun, "Aren't I always?"

Woohyun narrowed his eyes at Sunggyu, who laughed at the reaction, "You know I'm just joking, you were amazing."

Woohyun wondered if Sunggyu could hear how loud Woohyun's heart was beating, "Urhm..Thank you."

Sunggyu gave him a curious look. Woohyun seemed to be acting really weird. "You okay? I mean, you would usually give me a snarky comment after I make a joke like that. And you've actually been pretty quiet all day."

Woohyun shook his head, too agressively, pushing his chin off the seat and almost landing face first on Dongwoo's shoe. Dongwoo and Sunggyu immiediately tried to help him up while trying not to laugh. Woohyun felt his face blush.

"Uh...I'm fine! Just, uh, you know, excited for um, you know, the couple of days we have off."

Dongwoo smirked, "I'm sure that's why you're acting weird." Sunggyu gave him a questioning look.

Woohyun ignored Dongwoo and got Sunggyu's attention again, "So! What are you planning on doing tonight?"

Sunngyu then got everyone's attention and made an annoucement, "I've decided that I'm going to buy us all dinner!"

Their was a silence in the car, then Myoungsoo asked, "Uh, really? ..Why?"

Sunggyu looked annoyed, "because I think you all deserve it and we never got to have a party for Sungyeol's birthday last week! So, we can have a mini-party today!"

Sungyeol smiled wide and everyone else in the car cheered for the free meal.

Sunggyu turned to the manager and asked him to take them to a restaurant. Woohyun placed his chin on Sunggyu's seat once more and said, "Wow, that's really nice of you to take us out to dinner. Thanks."

Sunggyu smiled, "Seriously, you're acting odd."

Woohyun didn't know what to say.

"But you're welcome."

Woohyun leaned back into his seat after that, and turned to Dongwoo who gave him a smile and leaned over, whispering in a girly voice, "Wow, that's really nice of you to take us out to dinner. Thanks!"

Woohyun hit him and whispered back, "Shut up!"

Sunggyu looked back suspicously, and Woohyun immediately smiled wide and pointed to Dongwoo, "He uh, made fun of my hair."

Sunggyu looked at Dongwoo with narrowed eyes, "What's wrong with his hair? I think it looks really hot."

Before Dongwoo could respond the car came to a stop and the manager annouced that they were at the restaurant. Sunggyu gave one last suspicous look and walked out of the car.

Dongwoo burst out laughing as Woohyun exited the car, ignoring him once again.

After awhile, Woohyun had begun to act more like himself, Sungyeol was extremely happy, and everyone was in a good mood, even though they were all a little tired. Sunggyu was glad that he had done this. Usually, the members squeezed in some time during their schedules to celebrate someone's birthday but somehow they hadn't been able to do that for Sungyeol this year. Taking everyone out to dinner was a great way to make it up to him, and Sunggyu was satisfied because Sungyeol looked like he was having the time of his life. Sunggyu tapped Woohyun on the shoulder.

"I see you're acting like the normal Nam Woohyun again."

Woohyun laughed and leaned in, "Was he ever gone?"

Sunggyu pushed him lightly and laughed. Woohyun layed his hand on Sunggyu's wrist.

"Hey umm, after dinner, you wanna do something? Maybe watch something?"

Sunggyu nodded, "Sure! Just you and me?"

"Y-yeah, I mean because we'll be in the same room, obviously, and -"

"Okay, no problem. It's been a while since we had roomate time."

Woohyun laughed, relieved, "Yeah, it has."

As the members began to talk about dessert, Sunggyu stood up, "I'm going to the washroom. I'll have whatever Woohyun's having."

Sunggyu patted Woohyun on the shoulder and walked away. Woohyun sat staring at the menu. Suddenly, a voice he was getting really annoyed with lately piped up.

"You're just agonizing over what to order for him aren't you?" asked Dongwoo.

Woohyun slowly pulled his head up, staring at Dongwoo through slitted eyes. "Do you want me to hurt you?"

Dongwoo giggled, "Ah Woohyun, it's so sweet how you're worrying about this. I wish Inspirits could see this side of you!"

Woohyun continued to stare at Dongwoo, "It's not a big deal Woohyun, just figure out what you want and order him the same thing."

Woohyun leaned back, "I'm not stupid."

Dongwoo smirked, "How about I decide for you then?"

Woohyun shrugged and looked away, "If you want to. I mean it's not like I can't but I really don't know what to order for  myself so you can see why I can't decide what to get for Sunggyu."

Dongwoo nodded, staring at the menu, "Uh huh...."

Sunggyu was about to open the door to the washroom when someone walked out in a rush, talking angrily on their cellphone, bumping into him and knocking them both down. The stranger quickly said something on the phone and hung up, then stuck his hand out for Sunggyu. Sunggyu looked up at the man who looked to be about the same age as him. He was wearing an expensive looking, black business suit with a red tie, and his hair was sleak looking, spiked up a little for some extra flare. Sunggyu found himself speechless, staring up at the person. He looked down at Sunggyu in confusion, hand outstretched, waiting for Sunggyu to grab it.

"Um, I'm really sorry about that, Let me help you up."
