Stole My Heart Pearllin 31510K 2023-11-03

The moment her eyes met his figure, Sera gasped in surprise. "Sehun?" she mumbled as she slowly made her way towards him with slow steps and wide eyes. "What happened to your hair?" She pointed at the messy blonde hair of his when their eyes met. "Sit," he muttered shortly, his eyes glued on his phone. She blinked at him several times, ultimately taking her seat in front of him. "Let's cut the chase and get into business," he said as he pulled the earphones from both of his ears, placing his phone on the glass table in between them. "Wait," she started. "It's been like-" she glanced down at her wrist to check the time "- thirty minutes that I left my house. You had black hair back then..." she trailed away, wondering how the hell Sehun dyed his hair to blonde in merely half of an hour. "Sehun's probably at your place then," he mumbled. "And I'm Lee Jaehyun, by the way," he added before she could even open her mouth and voice her questions. "Yah, Oh Sehun," Sera managed a small smile at him. "I am Lee Jaehyun. I've been in America for the 24 years of my life and now, I'm back. To take what belongs to me." Sera stared at him for a couple of minutes, waiting for him to laugh out and say that he was actually joking but he just stared back at her with uninterested eyes. "What are you...talking about? I'm not getting a thing." "I. Am. Lee. Jaehyun. Which part of that don't you understand?" he asked, making the girl flinch a little with his sharp voice. "I'm trying to break this marriage off; just like you are. Sehun would never want to do that." he explained. "We're brothers, unfortunately. Twins," he added. "My Korean's a little weak but you gotta bear with it." With really less words, Jaehyun finally succeeded in making her believe that he was Jaehyun and not Sehun. "So, what's the plan?" She asked after a long silence; taking her time to comprehend everything she was supposed to believe and Jaehyun had gladly given her the time she needed. Sera couldn't really point out the differences between Sehun and the guy in front of her other than the very different hair colors. She refused to conclude that she had only ever fallen for Sehun for his looks in the first place and that she was being drawn towards Jaehyun too. He was cold, worse than Sehun. He used really less words and his tone wasn't even convincing but in the end of the discussion, she found herself believing his every statement. He slowly pulled the earbuds from his ears and leaned in with his arms resting on the table and a smirk decorating her features. "It's quite simple. Listen up close."    "Sehun!" Sehun frowned with his eyes closed and tightened his grip around the small body, trying to drift back to sleep. The door slammed open but he kept ignoring it; it wasn't like him and Sarang were doing something they shouldn't be doing anyway. It was silence after that but he could tell that someone was still there in the room. "Sarang?" he heard a mumble after some minutes. "Ey, Oh Sehun!" He covered Sarang's ear as Jaerin exclaimed. "Sarang will be staying tonight?" "Yeah, get out," he mumbled without opening his eyes. He knew that Jaerin was smiling like the idiot she was after hearing that her friend would be staying for the night. "Do you know what time it is? Get up already!"Jaerin shook him by the shoulder. He pulled the covers up to his face and pretended not to hear a thing. "Sarangie~" Jaerin sang as she walked around the bed to the other side when she realized her stubborn brother wouldn't get up. "Yah, Oh Jaerin," Sehun muttered. "Let her sleep." "You two are so..." She trailed away when the doorbell rang from downstairs. "Dad's home?" Sehun asked before pushing the blanket from his body very unwillingly and running his hand through his messy black hair. "Nope, you know why?" Jaerin crossed her arms as her brother arched a brow at her, yawning adorably. "Because a certain guy skipped work today." "The door, Noona," Sehun chuckled, crossing his legs as he scrolled through the messages that he had received in the span of two hours. Jaerin had left, closing the door to his room behind. Sehun glanced at the sleeping figure beside him and ran his fingers through the golden strands of her hair, placing his phone beside him. She looked calm now; very unlike what she looked like back in her house. Sarang stirred a little when he placed a small peck on her forehead and circled her arms around him, pulling him back on to his pillow. She snuggled closer making Sehun's cheeks go redder than ever. Sehun tried to calm his irregular heart beats but to no avail. He was afraid Sarang would wake up with all the noise his heart was making. She would be the only one to know what his heart sounds from the inside, he thought.    "Noona!" Sarang felt herself being pulled towards the exit of the airport while she heard Sehun exclaiming by her ear. "Yesul Noona," he kept on mumbling. "Sehun, slow down," She muttered, keeping up with him. He wasn't letting her hand go either. "Oh-okay," Sehun slowed down when realization hit him. "Sorry." "Is that...her?" Sarang pointed towards the crowd of people. "She's waving at us, right?" "Yeah, that's her. Yesul Noona!" A grin broke out on his face as he waved back and steadily walked towards her. "That's Junmyeon Hyung." He mumbled near Sarang's ears pointing at a certain male behind his sister, who was smiling fondly at both of them as they walked towards them. "Noona," Sehun heaved a sigh as she opened her arms for her little brother. Sarang bowed to the older male when he took off his eyes from Sehun and his wife and looked at her. "Kim Sarang, right?" He smiled at her as she nodded. "It's really nice to meet you finally." "Sarangie," she snapped her towards Yesul when she heard her call her by her name. "You came." Sarang was suddenly engulfed in a warm hug and she wrapped her own arms around Yesul as a response. She smiled hearing Sehun's sister talk about how much she had wanted to see the girl who stole her baby brother's heart. It was as if they knew each other for ages, the way Yesul hugged her. Sarang knew for a fact that Sera had never done this. For a second, Sarang thought how blessed she was that it was her getting married to Sehun and not her elder sister. "Where's Jae?" Junmyeon asked to Sehun. Yesul pulled away but kept her arm around Sarang as she asked with a smile, "Yeah, where's my little sister?" "She's home with Dad. It's Sunday, you know." Sehun replied. "Let's go. Dad's making a hell lot of preparations for you two, Hyung." "We can't wait meet him too. It's been a while since we have seen Dad," Junmyeon said, "You know, we've heard a lot about you, Sarang." "Sehun could never stop talking about you." Yesul continued, "But he was too scared to ever tell Dad." "I wasn't scared, Noona. I was just waiting for the right time," Sehun added. Sarang chuckled at the way his ears went red and he smiled when he heard that. "I take you really seriously, Sarang," he mumbled. "I know, let's go." Sarang said before looping her arm into his to pull him towards the parking lot.  "I was expecting a 'Me too' as a response. But, never mind," Sehun mumbled. "Hyung, let's go home."    "Sarang." "Hey, what's up?" Sarang responded, looking through the book she found with her phone pressed against her ear. "What color will the flowers be in our engagement party, dear?" Sehun asked from the other end. "What do you think? Blue?" "Anything you say. Are you free tonight?" "Yep. Sehun, I just found the book I was looking for. Percy Jackson." She said a bit too loudly, forgetting the fact that she was in a library.<
