Needed. (1/1)

October 12/HyunMi’s POV             I collaborated with Nicole-unnie next door in making an artwork. Kibum was on the constant fit of bugging us while working, that once I had to throw the bottle of opened black poster-paint and that when it hit his beloved jacket he almost strangled me, if not for unnie from stopping him in doing so. Ji Won (unnie’s partner) volunteered in removing the stain, and he pretty much extended my life for another ten years. Why does Kibum keep on bugging us, anyway? Does he like unnie or something? Pretty possible if you ask me, I heard they’re quite close to each other.………And, no, I’m not jealous. Just…shut up.             Anyway, we were already done with our painting and it turned out to be better than I expected. I noticed that Nicole-unnie had difficulty working with a brush, and unlike me, she goes for the flat ones (I like round brushes, by the way). It was posted at the gallery of the mansion and they admired it. “HyunMi-ssi,” Nicole-unnie called me once while we were working.“Dae, unnie?”“What do you think of  Key?”I suddenly stopped the stroking of my brush and I looked at her, her face showing no expression except interest in her work. “Well… he’s… kinda… I don’t know. I find him most of the time annoying, but I think I might have gotten used to it,”“Hmm-mm,” She nodded, still not taking her eyes off her work.“Why’d you ask, unnie?” “Just checking.”“Checking what?”She made three strokes with her brush before replying, “If you’re inlove with him.”What she said was so shocking I almost screwed up our whole painting. I let out a very huge “BWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH?” as soon as what she said sunk in to me. “EWW! LIKE HELL I’LL LIKE THAT GUY! HELL NO!”She laughed. “Nah-uh, don’t say that. Key is more lovable than he seems to be so,”I looked at her with the expression, you’re messing with me.She continued to explain, “I almost fell for him when we just met. But now, the spark’s gone. I only see him as a friend. It’s better like that,”“What’d you see in him that you liked him?” which I translated in my mind as, What’s wrong with you that you liked him?“He’s caring, though he shows it in his grumpy ways, he’s a nagger, but it’s his way of showing his affection, and he really says what’s on his mind,” after she laughed a little she added, “and he says he doesn’t know when to conceal his overflowing honesty.”I looked at her in silent incredulity. Kibum’s like me in more ways than one, which I think that the universe probably made a mistake making us partners. “But I guess you’re just what he needs,” she said, which made me snap out of my thought.“Me? Why me?”“They may say that opposites attract, but I see that Key needs someone who can give him a taste of his own medicine,” she looked at me and winked. “Teach him what he needs to learn,”I, in the truest sense of the word, did not understand what she was saying. KEY’S POV!!!!“What… are you looking at?” I frowned at HyunMi for looking at me intently. She has been doing it for about thirty minutes now since I entered the room, and it was freaking me out.“Just…” she said, her eyebrows still knitted together. “Nothing.” She avoided my gaze. “I’m just observing you.”“Then observe me in a way that won’t creep me out, will you?” I said. A moment of silence passed in the room, and whenever I looked at her I would catch her looking at me then avoid my look.“SERIOUSLY. Is there anything you want to tell me? Your stares are creeping the hell out of me!” I said, slightly loud. She shook her head. “Nothing… I’m just thinking about something. By the way, Kibum, do you know how to use oil paint?”“Yeah. Why?”“Please teach me,”I flipped my hair. “Ah. seriously. You’re a professional painter and you don’t know how to use it?”“That’s why I told you to teach me, didn’t I?” she scowled.“Fine,” I snorted. “When am I going to teach you, then?”“The question is when are you free? You’re like, the ‘boss’ here,” she stated sarcastically, making quotation marks with her fingers.“I’m glad that you have finally acknowledged my supremacy over you,”She snickered.“Next week, Monday.”“Why not this Friday?”“I thought I’m the boss here?”“Pff. It’s better that we start early. Just so you know, I’m too stupid to be taught and it’ll take time before I muster it. And don’t you know the quote? ‘Don’t put off…’ ah, whatever. The point is that we start early!”I rolled my eyes. “Nothing’s difficult for me. And besides, teach you? Piece of cake,” I shrugged with a smile. She sighed in exasperation. “Fine. It’s Almighty Key, guys. You’re arguments are invalid,” she said with her hands in the air as if surrendering. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------crap. ok. ignore me. what do you guys think of the story so far? ಥ⌣ಥ
