Chapter In Which SHINee A (1/1)

Chapter 1     Onew was busy flipping away on his Canada for Dummies textbook; it was almost embarassing for him not to know anything about Canadian culture. Key was looking out the window; all he knew was watching videos of the snowy scenary in Canada.     “I wonder if there's snow in November...” Key unintentionally let the thought slip his mind, accidentally waking Taemin up, who was sleeping on his shoulders.     “Hm...?” Taemin was a bit flustered from sleeping for the last ten hours. “You have to learn to stop speaking outloud, Key...” Key gave him a slight push that resulted in his head landing on Jonghyun's shoulder. “Ow~,” Taemin was slowly massaging the side on his head, trying to relieve himself of the pain.     “You can't blame Key. It's so boring on the plane!!!” Jonghyun's loud complain caught the attention of the stewardess. The stewardess came over to notice a yawning and stretching Jonghyun.     “Your accents. They're so adorable. You're native koreans aren't you?”     “Oh yeah,” Minho responded with a slight smile. He was glad that they were in the Top Class seats; he would've probably started crying with the annoying, weeping baby if he was stuck in Economy. “Next time, we're not taking a direct flight again. My butt's numb.” He stretched his leg out, accidentally hitting Jonghyun. Jonghyun kicked Minho, thinking that the kick was intentional; pretty soon they were entertaining themselves with a game of Footsies. Key, who wanted to present themselves as sophisticated people, tried to ignore it as best he could.     “So, is it snowing in Canada.” Key was trying hard to annunciate each syllable precisely, but instead of acknowledgement, the stewardess released a slight giggle.     “I'm sorry. I could understand you just fine without you trying to force each syllable out. You have pretty fluent English actually.”     Key blushed, realizing how much of a fool he made himself into, while giving her a fairly innocent smile. The stewardess was slightly taken by the smile; she'd never seen something so innocent, well definitely not someone who's no longer a couple of years old. She was brought back down to Earth after a couple of seconds of staring. She cleared her throat.     “Er... yes. Back to your question... um... we're stopping at Toronto -” she gave him a rather pained look. “Sorry, it hasn't snowed yet in Toronto. It's actually awkwardly warm this year.”     It was as if someone blew dejection onto his face; Key pouted from hearing that it hasn't snowed yet. It actually made the stewardess' heart hurt a little to see him upset. She felt responsible for making him so bummed out so suddenly; she figured maybe she could say something that'll make him happier, but the seat-light turned on above them, and they had to return to their seats. Another, visibly older stewardess walked up to her.     “Avalon, you should take your seat. Sorry about this, but you'll have to excuse us.” The older stewardess escorted Avalon to the front of the plane, leaving Avalon's mind still burning with the image of Key's depressed face.     The speaker above them came on, “this is your captain speaking. We will be approaching Toronto's Pearson airport in an hour. Please take your seats and enjoy the rest of the flight. There will be further announcements as soon as we arrive.”  And finally I have completed the first chapter of my first fanfic. I know I fail at comedy or making anything interesting D: I'm sorry. But I do hope that the story does continue moving along. You can't rush relationships, they have to develop (don't they? ;D) Hope you'll stick by. Thanks XOXO
