Love turns into... (1/1)
“Where is she?”“Unnie, she’s been locked up inside since yesterday.” “Yejin, open up.” Finally a voice that I’m very glad to hear.I twist the door handle silently and let her enough space to come in.“Yejin.” She looks pointedly at me, my disheveled hair, and messy room with books strewn across the floor and the grimace so deeply sculpted in my face.“You promised.” She feels betrayed again, but it was hardly a promise it was more of an order. I really couldn’t help it, my room is a safe place, no one can hurt me here.“Alright, will you tell me what happened?” She picks up my books and places them properly on the desk.“No?” No. I repeated as I shook my head. I just couldn’t, Minhee unnie would be worried sick, she wouldn’t know who to turn to, being older than all of us and all.“If you don’t want to tell, then go outside and eat.” I stepped forward and started towards the kitchen when she stopped me again. “Can’t you at least comb your hair?”“Fine.sorry.” “Look at you, you’re shaking. Don’t skip meals again, ever.” Haha good try unnie, I’m not shaking because of hunger I’m shaking because I’m eating beside him.I looked at her blankly, looking dead and zoned out. She sighs, she’s appalled by that look, I mean who likes looking at dead people? No one, I bet. “What are your plans for today?” Minhee unnie was poised to ask everyone but me, yet I answered for them.“Nothing, just stu--.”Hakyeon oppa butts in before I finish and chuckles nervously. “Minhee noona, we’re gonna go to the park. Don’t worry about Yejin, she’ll come with us.”“Hmmm, okay.” Minhee unnie chews on her lip and seems unfazed but agrees and bids her goodbyes. Minhee unnie wasn’t gone for five minutes yet I’m already complaining. “I’m not going.” I mumbled. It’s suicide. I always get stuck with him, not that I’m complaining or anything but I always feel like I’ll drop dead when you leave me with him, so no.“Oh cmon! I know that look.” Hera noticed me and my angry mumbling. “We’ll ride bikes.” She added, coaxing me to come.“But I don’t know how to ride a bike.” I scratched my head, this would sound like a stupid excuse, but it’s true.Danbi hugs me and whispers “We’ll see a lot of pretty flowers.”“I’m allergic.” I scratch my nose.“Do I have to drag you there or I’ll let Hyuk carry you there?” Hera orders outrageously.“What!?” I accidentally met his sleepy eyes. I grumbled in defeat, “Fine, I don’t need to be carried.”“I thought so.” Hera replies smugly and drags me upstairs.I shouldn’t like him. I swore never to like younger guys. They’re immature and hot-blooded and irrational, never a good combination. That night was a mistake, I feel mortified when I look at him, especially because THAT happened. It was like a monumental event of my stupidity.**We never went to the park, Ken oppa looked happy but N oppa looked worried as all of them headed out, except for us girls. “Hyung! Stop trying to kiss Leo hyung.” Ravi’s low booming voice wakes me from my slumber, we were watching a movie but it was getting late and the guys were not coming home.“OMG! YA! You went out drinking?” Hera scolds Hongbin who is staggering to enter the apartment. Leo was still quiet but his eyes were unfocused and he is giggling like a maniac.I stood to the side, deciding on what to do to help them when someone had decided for me. “Yejin! Take care of Hyuk. He wanted to drink too but he ended up getting drunk first.” Hongbin almost shouts at me as Hera sneaks an apologetic look towards me.An exasperated sigh escape my lips as I walk toward Hyuk, school work sounds better right now. We both stayed quiet, I’m glad he’s not a talkative drunk like Hongbin. He was just giggling as I plop him on his bed.I look around his room, which is relativel
