Chapter 18 (1/2)

Now Nabi arrived at some apartment buildings but never told her which apartment number exactly. Nabi sighed as she was looking at Key's number. She really didn't want to call him but she sucked up the fact that this is all her problem if she didn't decide to eat out at lunch yesterday. She poked her screened and put the phone against her ears. She waited for a few rings before Key picked up.

"Hello?' Key said.

"You never gave me your apartment number," Nabi said.

"It's _____," Key replied.

"Alright I'll be up there in a minute," Nabi said and hung up on him without saying goodbye. 'Haha payback diva freak' Nabi laughed to herself. Then she made her way to the elevators to the 5th floor. Finally she made it to his door and knocked on it lightly. She heard some footsteps coming from behind the door. It was no surprised that Key was the one opening the door. He greeted her with the distaste tone in it. Nabi ignored and walked in. She slips off her shoes and waited for Key to guide her. Key said nothing and walked passed her. Nabi rolled her eyes. Okay she was being polite for him and he keeps giving her attitude. Nabi sighed before catching up to him into the living.

"Okay make it quick so you can go. The other members are out and working and don't know you're coming," Key announced. Nabi sat down on the single chair while Key sat on another chair.

"So what do you want to know?" Nabi asked.

"You are the mysterious girl who played the violin the other with us," Key said. Nabi nodded.

"You are hiding yourself from the public," Key said and Nabi nodded again.

"Okay from there, explain why you are hiding from the public," Key said. Nabi sighed before answering.

"First of all, I wasn't even supposed to perform that day. I was actually dragged into playing. So now that the whole South Korea or so seen my face, you should know it's not easy going around with people looking at you or asking you for pictures and autographs. I don't want to live my life that," Nabi answered.

"Why not? You have great talent in music," Key said.

"Uhh thanks but I have no intention in playing ever again," Nabi said with irritation.

"So what happened that day with Taemin?" Key asked.

"He was talking about looking for the mystery girl aka me but I said nothing to him about it. Then later he found out that I know something about the mystery girl and got mad that I didn't tell him about her aka me," Nabi answered.

"So you are saying Taemin still doesn't know you are the girl?" Key asked. Nabi nodded.

"Why don't you tell him? I'm pretty sure he can keep the secret, he's been looking for you," Key said.

"It's not easy as you think especially now. Do you expect me to go up to him and announced "Oh Taemin-shi I'm the mystery girl!"" Nabi said sarcastically.

"It's better than lying to him when he trusts you more than everyone beside the members, manager and his family. You know you're being pretty selfish" Key said. Damn that does make Nabi feel guilty but she has reasons why she can't. But yeah she understand that Taemin is a famous idol, he can't be close to other people or he'll be pounced on or be used by other people for fame.

"I know what I'm doing is wrong but understand, he's a little attached to me more than other people. If he finds out I'm the girl, there will be two possible reactions he would give me. One: be angry at me for lying to him and never trust people or two: gets attached to me and may cause a scandal. And if this thing does get into a scandal, your whole group is going to be in deep shit and my uncle has a shop he's running might be vandalize by your fans. So don't say I'm selfish because I'm the one here who has to hid my identity here," Nabi snapped. Key's face was expressionless. Before he was anger that she's lying to everyone, especially Taemin since he really trusted Nabi. But now that he think of it, Taemin always wanted a friend. And Taemin got quite attached to Nabi due to the fact, she wasn't like any other girl.

"Yesterday..." Key said. Nabi snapped her head at him.
