02. Himchan and Hyosung (1/1)
He stood in front of the mirror, fixing his tie when he saw a manicured hand come around and reach around his neck. He bent down a little bit so she could see him in the mirror, she had a smile on her face when she looked at him."You always have trouble with this." She told him, undoing the entire knot and retying the tie for him."That's because I don't like wearing ties, Hyosung." He replied back to her and she finished, tightening it up a little too tight for him to breathe well. He pulled at it a little when he stood up straight so he wouldn't suffocate over dinner."But they look so good on you, Himchan oppa, that red one is absolutely perfect." She said, sashaying in front of him to show off the red dress she had picked out for dinner. She wore gray contacts and she wore a black belt to accentuate her waist, since her hair was also red.Himchan looked at her with a small smile, he knew he was wearing the red one because she bought it for him and that she had worn the red dress simply because she wanted to. She hid her blue eyes with contacts because she hated them, she thought she looked better with other colors.He sighed to himself, this was Hyosung's way of rekindling their relationship which had been on the rocks lately. He knew exactly why but he couldn't do anything to change it. He wasn’t about to do what put them in this entire situation in the first place. He had to know his place in society and stay there.“Come on, our reservations at The Spice are at 7, and we do not want to be late. It is super exclusive there, I had to mention our names several times for the hostess to give me the table I wanted.” Hyosung said, hurrying him out of the house. He followed after her, grabbing his car keys. It was mindless but he knew that she had set out the keys to the car she wanted to arrive in.Sure, enough when he clicked the unlock button and it beeped, he realized that they were driving the Bentley to the restaurant. He hated doing this, Hyosung loved to flaunt their wealth to everyone but he could just do with a small hybrid car and be done with it. Hyosung waited by the passenger door and he opened it for her as she climbed in slowly. She made sure her dress didn’t ride up unnecessary and once she was all settled in, he closed the door behind her.Himchan looked around and he felt the sun going down, it was relaxing to know when the sun was gone. There was no restrictions of his strength when the moon was out. He climbed into the driver’s seat and Hyosung reached for his hand. He let her intertwine their fingers together and gave her a small squeeze before letting go and starting the car.And they were finally on their way to The Spice, a restaurant of which Himchan could hardly care for. It was too fancy for his tastes, he preferred small, cozy atmospheres rather than the fancy air that The Spice had. But it was Hyosung’s choice after all. “We have to get the creme brûlée okay?" Hyosung told him, "It's what they're famous for. The pastry chef there is number one in her field."“Of course, we can have whatever you want, sweetie.” Himchan said calmly, keeping his eyes on the road. He made the left turn smoothly and saw that the restaurant was there and there was a valet waiting. He reached in the glove box for the spare keys and got out of the car to open the door for Hyosung. She took his hand possessively as she got out of the car and wrapped her arm around his waist for any unexpected pictures. Himchan fell into character as he slid his arm around her shoulders. “Don’t ruin the car.” He told the valet and they stepped inside the restaurant where the smiling hostess was waiting.Himchan looked around and saw the plush booths by the wall where couples could cozy up next to each other and share their food. He saw the ornate chairs and white linens by the window for those that wanted a view. The stage was set for a live band to play soothing music while everyone ate their dinners by candlelight. He sighed inwardly, he really hated places like these. If Hyosung could have been a simple girl, he would have been fine with going to the husband and wife restaurant down the street from their house for pasta. The hostess led them to their table and it was right by the window as expected of Hyosung as she would have wanted the view. He pulled out her chair for her and she sat down nicely, he moved to sit across from her as they waited for the waitress to come around.Hyosung sighed loudly as they waited more than 5 minutes for a waitress to come by. “Why is the service so slow today?” She complained, looking around for some help with their orders.Himchan looked around too and noticed that only one girl was working all the tables around the room for the time being, “There’s only one waitress, sweetie. Relax. It’s a hard job to manage this whole room.” He said calmly, trying to get her to see reason. He knew that Hyosung was very demanding and picky when it came to people giving her attention.“We should be waited on first, Himchannie. There is no reason why she can ignore us.” Hyosung replied sweetly but not without attitude. She raised her hand up to call for the girl and she gave them a small smile before putting down a dish for another table and heading over. "Good evening, thank you for waiting, what would you like to order today?" The waitress asked them kindly and Hyosung glared at her."I would like my food quickly, but I will have the lobster bisque, oysters, and the seared fish fillet." Hyosung replied venomously.Himchan sighed to himself before the waitress turned to him, the shock overwhelmed him at first but he calmed himself before Hyosung could realize anything was wrong. "And for you, sir?" The waitress asked, not ruining her perfect act."I will have the porterhouse steak and a loaded baked potato on the side please." Himchan told her and the waitress wrote down their orders, holding her hands out for their menus."Oh, we want the creme brûlée right, oppa?" Hyosung cooed sweetly to Himchan before turning on the waitress. She avoided direct eye contact with her until this moment."I will bring one order of the creme brûlée when your entrees are finished." The waitress said, before walking away quickly to help another table. She refused to walk by them again until their meals were ready. Himchan watched her walk around the room, never did he think he would see her again.Hyosung kept her eyes on Himchan as he continued to stare at their waitress. She hated that he was giving another girl attention, but he was intrigued by her somehow. She had no idea what that girl did that was special.She had a feeling but that was too much of a coincidence, she watched as the girl continued around the room by herself. Maybe he was just in awe of the girl waiting the entire restaurant by herself, it was a miraculous feat and Hyosung couldn't deny that.Another girl stumbled into the restaurant and Hyosung saw that she was a waitress too, hungover, but a waitress nonetheless. Perhaps then she could get Himchan's attention for herself.Author's Note;;
