Yoona Meets Kibum (1/1)

Chapter 6 - Yoona Meets Kibum "Seriously unnie! Dad really saw Jaejoong with another girl in Japan! And she kissed him!" Yoona exclaimed to Jessica as her unnie was putting the plates back into their proper place."Maybe a relative in Japan or something." Jessica convinced Yoona and herself as she put the last plate back. "I think I remembered him saying that his noona moved to Japan when they were young with their aunt and uncle.""I dunno with you unnie. If I were you, I would really look for evidences." She said as she headed outside to throw out some garbages. Even if Jessica seemed to be calm, her insides are all twirling with the thought of Jaejoong meeting  another woman. No, he absolutely wouldn't do that to me. She thought.Like the usual, Donghae arrived at two in the afternoon and offered to help them run the shop. While Jessica was serving some old couple and Donghae was washing the dishes, a young man with a great aura in black specs and blue long sleeved polo rolled up to the elbow with matching jeans entered the room that had almost all heads turned to him. Jessica called out Yoona, "Yoongie! Can you entertain him?!" She asked while putting down the food for the two old love birds. "Here's your order Ma'am, Sir. Can I get you anything else?"Yoona went out of the kitchen while wiping her wet hands on her apron and got a tray and a menu. She headed to the guy that just entered. She placed the menu on the table. "May I take your order, Sir?""Hmm, I'll have one americano and a chocolate mousse cake." He said with a beaming killer smile that got Yoona stunned. She walked away still dazzled with that unforgetable smile. She was in cloud nine when she entered the kitchen and Donghae noticed this."Ei, someone's stunned."He teased."Eh?" SHe said when she snapped out of her imaginations. "Oh, it's just...well there's a guy there.""Where?" Donghae took a peek from the small kitchen window to where Yoona was pointing."There...that guy. He looks so-""Hey! That's my best bud, Kibummie!" She was cut off by him and dashed out of the kitchen to greet Kibum."-handsome." She finished her sentence. "Wow, I guess I could ask some help from Donghae oppa with that Kibum guy."Afterfive minutes, Donghae left Kibum's side and helped out Jessica in serving customers. Yoona made her way to the guy she admired with his order on the silver tray. As she was putting down the order, the americano accidentally slipped from her hands and splashed on Kibum's polo. "What the-?!" He stood up angrily."Omona! I'm sooo sorry, Sir!" She apologized non-stop while bowing evenmore than 90 degrees to him. Donghae and Sica turned their heads to them when they were putting orders down on their customers' tables."Aish!" Kibum hissed while unbuttoning his polo leaving him with a plain V-neck shirt. "Clean this and give it back to me tomorrow morning here!" He demanded as he gave out his calling card where his address was neatly printed. Donghae rushed to Kibum's side while Jessica ran to Yoona."Dude, chill." Donghae calmed his best friend down while Jessica escorted her dongsaeng back to the kitchen. While the chaos is dying down, the petite noona once again showed up and Donghae volunteered to entertain her. But he recognized her familiar features again once he saw her. He just couldn't remember his connection with him nor her name. "M-may I take your order, n-noona?""I'll just have a green tea."She said while putting up a small smile to the younger lad. Donghae gave Jessica the piece of paper where he wrote the order. Jessica noticed his serious look."Hey...if this is about Yoona and your friend, she's really sorry and-""Do you see that girl over there?" He cut her off while pointing to Taeyeon."Yeah, why? Wait, I think I saw her here yesterday.""Well, she really looks familiar AND suspicious to me.""Maybe some old sunbae in your school that you barely interact with. And how could that lovely noona be suspicious??" She answered him as she poured down the boiling green tea to its cup. Donghae didn't answer and continued remembering her.When Jessica delivered Taeyeon's order to her, Taeyeon asked, "Uhm, miss, where's the restroom?""Oh over there unnie." She said politely while pointing to its direction. When Jessica left, Taeyeon discreetly went to the restroom and made sure that no one was around her. She faced the mirror and fished something fromher bag; t'was a small teddy bear with a tag hanging that says, "사랑해 시카 from Jaejoong". (translation on the later part) She placed it on top of a cubicle, though she had a hard time because of her short legs. The short noona went back to finish her drink before going home.It was almost their closing time when Jessica decided to freshen' up before going home. She was washing her face when she saw the teddy bear from the reflection. Who could have left that?She wiped her hands on her apron before reaching for it.Yoona entered the restroom and saw Jessica truggling over that stuffed animal. She helped her unnie and read the tag for her. "I love you Sica from Jaejoong.""Unnie...""I don't get it. I mean who keeps giving me these?"The two girls headed outside and Donghae noticed Jessica's scrunching face while looking at the toy. "Who is this from?" He question her."It says it's from Jaejoong. But he's in Japan so how could he send me these?""Unnie, maybe it's not really Jaejoong Oppa who's giving those to you.""But this is his handwriting. I just can't be wrong about it." THe three had serious faces as if solving a crime. Yoona got irked up and urged the two to just forget about it and go home. Donghae and Jessica arrived at the Jung's residence in no time. "Good night, take care!" While waving a cute goodbye at Donghae, Jessica heard a small grumble. A smile crept on her face as she looked at Donghae's apologetic face."I-I'm sorry. I haven't filled my tummy for hours." He said while looking down in humiliation. "Why come on in, silly. I'll serve you dinner straight from Chef Jessica." She dragged him in. Before heading to the kitchen, she checked on her mother first who was sleeping. While Jessica was cooking some simple dakgalbi, Donghae was roaming around her living room and found some photo albums. There was no trace of Sica's father, some pictures seemed purposely cut. Other pictures showed Jessica's happy and memorable times with Jaejoong. Donghae didn't know that somewhere in him, he felt something not right that all he could say is "Jaejoong, please get well soon. I beg you.""Donghae-yah! Dinner's served!" He heard her cute angelic voice from the kitchen. The delicious aroma of the chicken dish was very inviting that he sat down hurriedly. She sat right across him. "I'm sorry if it doesn't taste really good. I'm not a good cook, you know." She chuckled a bit. Donghae took a spoonful of dakgalbi and his eyes doubled, no, tripled in size!"What are you saying?!? This is like the best dakgalbi I ever tasted!!!""Jinjja?! But people often criticize my cooking skills." She pouted that made Donghae's heart race faster. Ugh, I shouldn't be like this. He urged himself in his thoughts. "Hello? Calling Donghae to Earth?" Jessica snapped in front of his face when she noticed him staring at her. He shook his head in an adorable manner that caused Jessica to giggle."What?" He asked her."Nothing." She still giggled. "You just look cute doing that.""You mean this?" He did it again now with more aegyo and Jessica kept laughing that she has to swear it was the most adorable thing that a guy has ever done to her."Aish! Stop it!" She said still laughing while getting a spoonful of her dish. "Now say 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH'." At first, both were surprised by Jessica's sudden actions that there was an awkward silence and stares. But after Donghae smiled sincerely at her, he gladly ate what she was offering him. She fed him.An hour passed and their adorable laughter surrounded the miserable house of the Jung's. "Hey, I better get going." He bid goodbye to her. But when Jessica opened the gate for him, the saw from only a few meters away a short woman running away. She was wearing a fur coat and her short hair with blonde highlights at the tip was bouncing with her every step. "Strange."
