Chapter 10 (1/1)

"Is something wrong?" I asked him as I followed him into the kitchen. He shrugged as he took the glass that I had left on the counter and filled it with water."Himchan, you deserve to be happy." He took a sip of water after he spoke. Okay, what the hell. Yongguk was just fine and now he's acting strange. He wasn't even looking at me."Uhm, well so do you Gukkie." His head shot up at the nickname, making me smile when I saw what I thought was a blush spreading on his cheeks. "But that's the thing...I'll never be happy. Until I get caught, I'll be spending my time running. I can only run for so long, Himchan." He slammed the glass on the table, making me jump slightly from the random anger."Well, we're just going to have to find a way to make you happy. Or at least have a little fun." I gave him a warm, sincere smile and he responded with that precious gummy smile. For some reason, I just really had a thing for that smile and I couldn't help the blush that bloomed on my cheeks. "Are you blushing Himchannie?"Fuck. Well that didn't help my blush at all. I coughed loudly. "What? Uh, no. I'm going to find something that we can do. Wait here..." I practically flew out the room and went into my room, searching for something fun.I had to be more careful. The butterflies that keep assaulting my insides are starting to get ridiculous. I just met this guy and he's a prisoner for fuck's sake. For some reason, I have this feeling that he's different, but for all I know he could just be playing with me. But maybe I wanted to be played with?Ugh, what the hell am I even thinking? I shook my head and continued to dig in my closet for something the least bit entertaining. "Find anything, Channie?" I jolted violently in my bent over position before whipping around to face him. "Did I startle you?" He asked with stupid chuckle and a stupid smirk."Oh. Uhm. No. I couldn't find anything." I glanced at his stupidly handsome face before looking anywhere but him."Well. That's too bad." He said in a voice that made goosebumps break out on my skin. He slowly began to move closer to me, making me move back with each step he took."Uhm. Is there anything you wanna do?" I mentally slapping myself over and over when I heard my voice shake in a humiliating way."Why so shaky, Channie?" My back collided with a shelf and I squeezed my eyes shut when I felt his warm breath hit my burning face as he put his hands on the wall above me."Channie..." I made the mistake of looking at Yongguk in the eyes. His intense gaze this close was unbearable.I felt my whole body tremble as he moved his head a little, making our lips inches apart and his breath hit my trembling lips. "I don't bite Himchan. I promise..." He paused as my eyes trailed down to his plump, smirking lips. "Unless you want me to~"I desperately tried to form a response, but only incoherent noises stumbled from my mouth. He pulled away from me, moving his arms back to his side with a wide, smug smirk. "Keep looking. I'll see if you have anything in the front room."I felt my mouth fall open slightly as I watched him walk away before I started to blink rapidly. What the fuck just happened? Did that really happen? Is my heart trying to jump out my chest? I tried to steady my heaving breaths before reaching a hand up to my cheeks, pulling away when I felt how hot it was. Dear fuck, Yongguk, what the hell are you doing to me?"Hey Channie!" I took another deep breath and headed back out to the living room. "You have cards! I love playing cards! Let's play cards!" I felt myself die a little when that gummy smile assaulted my vision. "Unless you found something?" I shook my head in response. "No. Cards sounds fun." I watched him move on the floor, shuffling the cards effortlessly once he sat down. "What are you waiting for Let's play!""Okay. What game?" I sat in front of him and smiled when I saw an adorable thinking expression crossed his features. "Lets play slap jack!" He said after a few moments."Alright. Let's make it fun." I eyed him as he shuffled the cards some more. "Hmm?" He hummed out. "Let's play strip slap jack." I said with a smirk, not thinking about much else besides seeing Yongguk without clothing. His head snapped away from the cards and he stared at me with a shocked expression. "What? Nervous?" I asked, my smirk becoming wider."Oh. No.." He said slowly before I clapped my hands together excitedly. "Okay! Here are the rules!" He just stared at me, listening with that unnerved expression, making me smile widely before I explained the rules. "The regular rules of the game are the same. We take turns flipping a card over, slapping the jack when it comes up, whoever slapping it first getting to take the pile, trying to get the whole deck, blah. Blah. Blah!" I waved my hands around as he dealt the cards out, nodding his head in recognition."But as for the person who doesn't slap the jack first has to strip off one piece of clothing. Got it?" I asked with a smirk."Game on."
