Relieving Stress- Min (1/1)
All this time, Myungsoo had been studying your face expressions. He was worried about how you would take the news; so was everyone else. Unfortunately for him, you kept a pokerface. He couldn't see through your facade but if you were to be honest... inside, you were a wreck. Everyone looked at you to see how you would react, even Min. Min was definitely upset with her parents but knowing your personality, she was more worried about you; her problems could wait. Your parents were a sensitive subject for you and Min knew this. (Cue the music!)So many things were going through your mind right now but you refused to show any emotions in front of anyone. At this point you really couldn't take it anymore, so you stood up and walked over to Woohyun. Everyone's eyes followed you. "Give me your keys." You said; your voice was about to crack. Anyone could tell by the sound of your voice that you were not okay. "W-what?" Woohyun asked, clearly confused and caught off guard. Not wanting to wait any longer, you reached into his pockets and grabbed his car keys. Before you reached the door, you stopped, "Don't follow me..." you said in a hushed tone without turning back and stormed off to the parking lot. To avoid being caught up to, you ran. Once you found Woohyun's car, you unlocked the car and yanked open the door before slamming it closed and jamming the key into the ignition. You grabbed the seatbelt swiftly and clicked it perfectly into place. While heaving out a deep sigh, the tears that welled up in your eyes had simultaneously fell. Quickly you wiped the tears away with the back of your hand. Wanting to get as far away from the building as you could, you switched gears, pulled out of the parking lot and sped off to who knows where. Infinite could see Woohyun's car slowly disappearing into the horizon on the screens that were connected to the cameras in the security system back at the office.Myungsoo let out uneven sighs, ruffling his hair. "Shouldn't someone follow her and make that sure she's okay?!" He yelled in frustration."Leave her alone." Min said in a cold, stern voice before walking towards the door and out of the office."This was not how things were suppose to go..." Mrs. Park said as she threw her face into the palms of her hands. All Mr. Park could do was sigh and pat his wife's back in comfort. Min however, instead of driving off, decided to relieve her stress with some target practice. She simply asked one of the office agents where the shooting range was and made her way there with the directions given. Lucky for her, nobody was in the shooting range to bother her. Without much effort, she spotted the cabinet that contained the guns provided for target practice. Bullet proof vests were hung messily on the hooks but Min was in no mood to 'play it safe'. She just grabbed one of the guns along with a pair of goggles and headed over to the shooting stations. After settling herself down, Min loaded the gun with bullets and fired away. Each shot she fired was filled with anger and resentment. Many things were running through her mind; Why would they keep such a big secret from us for so long? What the hell does "until the time is right" mean? Why now? I wonder if Hana's okay. I can't believe Infinite knew about this and didn't even think twice about telling us. I thought we were suppose to be best friends... On the other hand, while Min was shooting all her frustrations away, Infinite was discussing about what to do next.Mrs. Park finally dried her tears and approached the Infinite boys. "I'm sorry that we've created such a burden for you boys, but we're going to have to leave Min and Hana in your hands for the next week or two. Mr. Park and I have to leave for China in 2 hours for a business conference. I assume you boys have met Exo-M already; they'll be of assisstance when you need it; they're just a phone call away." She announced.Sungyeol's eyes rounded, "You know about Exo?!"Mrs. Park nodded, "I apologize for not telling you boys sooner but Exo was too busy at SM for a formal greeting."The boys nodded in understanding. After saying their goodbyes, Mr. and Mrs. Park headed off to pack for their business trip. Once they walked out the door, the boys went right back to discussing what to do about you and Min."Min couldn't have left the building yet, she doesn't have a car to take and she hasn't appeared on any of the outdoor cameras yet. Where do you guys think she could have went?" Dongwoo asked."I think I know..." Woohyun said. "Follow me." The lot of them exited the office and made their way to the elevator; going down a few levels to the training floor. As they neared the shooting range, they could hear gunshots being fired. Woohyun put his fingers to his lips, signalling for the rest of them to be quiet. He had remembered the conversation he shared with you and Min about wanting to see the shooting range; and sure enough, he was right. They peered through the glass of the steel door and saw the back of a petite girl firing away nonstop. After staring at her for a moment, their eyes switched over to the target she had been firing at and their jaws dropped at the accuracy of her shots. Almost all of them hit the bullseye with the exception of some shots in the 'lower region' (the targets are the human ones). If they didn't know better, they would've thought that Min was a professional. "She was born for this..." Hoya said in amazement.Little did he know, Min had heard him. Although the gunshots were indeed loud, the place was big enough for a voice to echo. Min lowered her gun and replied back sarcastically, "Well that's an understatement."Infinite's eyes widened and Sunggyu slapped the back Hoya's head for not being more careful. "You guys can come in, it's not like I own the place." Min said without much feeling. The boys were not expecting Min to seem so calm about everything, knowing her personality. Not knowing what to do next, they struggled with pushing Hoya into the vast room, but eventually succeeded anyway. Hoya glared at his friends and turned his head to see Min loading the gun with more bullets. The atmosphere was still tense; Hoya rubbed the back of his neck, straining to think of something to break the ice. Finally Hoya decided to speak up, "Look Min... we're sorry that we didn't tell you about this whole thing earlier. We wanted to, we really did, but it wasn't in our place to..."Min stopped what she was doing and set the gun down on the counter in front of her. Taking in a deep breath, Min turned around and faced Hoya. Her actions startled Hoya a bit but he managed to keep a straight face."You see, this is what you guys don't understand." Min stated. "There's honestly nothing for you to be sorry about. This is between Hana, my parents and I; you guys are only stuck in the middle because you work for my parents and the fact that we're friends.""..." Hoya was a but speechless and at Min's words. "So you're not mad at us?""Of course I'm still mad, you can't expect me to be fine after only half an hour." Min said. Infinite's shoulders deflated, but they had it coming. If they had been in her shoes, they'd still be mad as well if not furious."You guys can come in you know." Min exclaimed.Slowly, one by one, the Boys started piling into the vast room. Min hoisted herself up and sat down on the counter. The boys looked in different directions, avoiding all eye contact with her. Finally, Sungyeol decided to speak up, "Have you ever been in a shooting range before?""Nah, this is my first time." She shrugged."Are you serious?" Dongwoo asked. "Does it look like I'm kidding?" Min said with a straight face. "No... but all of the shots that you fired were dead on. It's like you're a professional." Dongwoo replied."I don't mean to brag but my parents are secret agents... It'd be strange if I wasn't good at this kinda stuff." Min paused for a second before she continued, "You guys should be more impressed with Hana."Myungsoo perked up, "And why is that?""Because the only time she's driven a car was in an empty parking lot about 5 years ago when she was 13. My dad let her practice in his car for an hour or two. She wasn't trained for years like you guys were, yet she can drive just as well as you can if not better." Min stated. They all kept a pokerface but on the inside they were all thinking the same thing, "Damn." But soon enough, their pokerfaces all faded away."I wanna race her.""She's amazing.""You two are born for the fast life...""Who knew you two were so skilled."A flood of compliments filled the air. Min chuckled at their silliness. "But what should we do about Hana?" Woohyun asked."Give the girl some space, she wants to be alone." Sungyeol replied."I hope you haven't forgotten that there are still people from SM trying to kill her." Hoya sassed."Guys, she's not dumb. She knows how to protect herself, just give her a little time." Min reassured."I hope that's the case..." Myungsoo said.__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________Here you go! Shooting guns and driving cars like that are things that I wish I was good at... Fast and Furious can really rub off onto a person. xDThis is what the target that Min was shooting at looks like if you guys didn't know what I was talking about. I assume you know all what I mean when I say "lower region" haha.Anyhow, see all you wonderful people at the next chapter!!! ^^
