Unexpected Visit- 2nd Puz (1/1)

The next day...You and Min were at the dining table sipping tea after breakfest and conversing about the Exo boys when Woohyun approached the two of you."Annyeong!" Woohyun greeted with a smile."Oppa annyeong~" You and Min chorused."You two don't have anything planned today right?" He asked."Nope, why do you ask?" Min replied."I was just thinking about taking the two of you on a trip to see our headquarters.""Really?!" You squealed excitedly.Woohyun chuckled, "Don't get too excited.""How can I not? It's going to be so cool!""Oppa, can we try out the shooting range??" Min asked pleadingly.Your eyes glowed at the mention of the shooting range and you nodded your head vigorously, "Yea, can we? Please??"Woohyun caved at your pleadings, "How can I say no to my two most favorite girls in the world?""Yes!" You and Min exclaimed and high-fived each other."But before we show you the shooting range, we have to give you gun-handling and safety lessons okay? And before that, we have something else planned for you as well, so be patient." Woohyun reminded."As long as we get to try out the shooting range, anything's fine." You said and Min nodded."Alright. Myungsoo's washing up right now so you two can go change and get ready. The rest of the boys are already at headquarters so that just leaves the 4 of us."Min gave Woohyun a thumbs up and ushered you out of the dining room to get ready. Since you guys were going to be in the shooting range, you and Min decided to dress lightly with more sensible clothes.Myungsoo knocked on the door, "You girls ready?"Min opened the door, "Yup.""Alright, lets go then."The 3 of you walked outside and waited for Woohyun. About a minute or two later, Woohyun pulled up in a sleek black car and the window rolled down, "Sorry girls, you're gonna have to squish a little to get in."Myungsoo opened the car door and pushed the passenger seat down for the Min and you to get in. The car was a 2 door coupe so it was a bit of a hassle to get in and out of the back, but it was worth it since the car was a very, very nice one. "Do all of you have your licenses already?" Min asked. "Nope, but our company allows us the privilage to drive. It's a part of the job to know how to drive." Myungsoo said with a shrug."I think the real question is, do all of you guys have such nice cars?" You asked in amazement.Myungsoo chuckled, "Not only are we required to know how to drive, we're also required to have fast cars; provided by the agency of course. Fast cars are needed in order to chase down enemies, rush to a scene for a mission/combat, and also to be fast for backup when our comrades are in need of it. Make sense?"Min and you nodded in understanding. "How cool would it be if we were a part of your agency? We would get to drive nice cars without needing our licenses yet, and there's a shooting range where we can put our skills to use." You said with wonder.Myungsoo glanced over at Woohyun; his face expression was unreadable since he was trained to show no emotions in situations that called for it, but Myungsoo knew better than that. "It's not as wonderful as you think it is..." Myungsoo replied glumly while staring out into the distance. A/N: I'm going to address Min's parents as Mr. and Mrs. Park in this chapter. It just makes things a little easier for me. (:Honestly speaking, Mr.Park (Min's dad) was the one that had called Infinite in the middle of the night requesting the trip. He said that it was time for the missing puzzle pieces to be filled in. The boys knew exactly what he was talking about, and they knew that it wasn't going to be an easy subject to deal with; especially now that the girls were going to be involved.  About half an hour later, the 4 of you finally reached headquarters. After you and Min got out the car, Woohyun locked it and stuffed the keys into the pocket of his pants and lead the way in. Since the location was quite secluded, it'd be odd for a huge building to be established in the middle of nowhere, so almost the whole agency was underground. You guys got into an elevator and cascaded down to a floor unknown to you. The bell made a sound and the doors opened, revealing a busy office filled with people in professional looking black and white clothing. You poked Myungsoo, "Why do they all look so professional and you guys look so.. normal?" "Because they're office agents; everything little aspect of their job in done in this building. As for Infinite and other agents similar to us are field agents; we do our jobs outside of this building and every so often we come back to headquarters in order to recieve orders, interrogate suspects, and much more." Myungsoo answered.You nodded in understanding. Myungsoo smiled at your curiosity, but his smile soon faded when you all reached your first destination of the day. In front of you all were a pair of steel doors which Woohyun pulled open for you guys to go inside. Once inside, you spotted Sungjong and the rest of the boys who were looking quite serious, compared to their normal playful selves. You guys walked over to them and they all gave you and Min warm smiles. The door opened once again and in walked two very familiar people. "Umma? Appa? What are you two doing here?" Min asked, dumbfounded."Sweetie, we have something to confess to you and Hana." Mrs. Park said.Min looked to you and you just shrugged. You were just as clueless as she was. Min switched her gaze over to Infinite but all they did was avoid her eyes. Her eyesbrows sinched together; it was now obvious that they were hiding something from the both of you."What is it that you need to confess?" You asked."We think the two of you might need to sit down first." Mr. Park stated.The boys ushered you and Min over to the couches and made you sit down. Mr. and Mrs. Park also settled themselves down into the cushioned couches. Infinite just stood beside you and Min."Appa, why are you guys making this so serious? What is it that you need to confess?" Min questioned.Mr. Park sighed. "Listen Min, it was not easy for you mother and I to come up with the decision to tell you and Hana our long kept secret. Please promise us that the two of you won't hate us or Infinite for not telling you sooner."Min gave you a look and you nodded. "We promise, but... we can't promise that we'll be fine after we hear what you have to say." Min said.Mrs. Park nodded, "Very well, that'll be good enough for now. Go on honey, tell them..."Mr. Park took a deep breath and sighed. "Alright, the truth is.. that the company that your mother and I have been working at has been here, Woollim. We've been working here as field agents since we were in college, along with Infinite's parents."No reply.Mr. Park continued, "The point of this company is to protect people who are targeted by other agencies who are considered to be threats by us. These other agencies are the ones that we must take out, like Haeri's agency for examp...""Why didn't you tell us?" Min cut in. "Why did you keep this a secret from us?" Min asked. Her voice was normal but if looks could kill... Mr. Park would be dead on the floor by now. Her stares sent chills down the Infinite boys backs. They knew that this side to her existed, but they didn't know it'd be this cold and frightening."We wanted you and Hana to lead different lives, a life away from all this violence. Just a normal life." Mrs. Park said."What does Hana have to do with this?" Min said in a low tone.Mr. and Mrs. Park sighed. "Hana's parents were the ones being targeted by Haeri's company back then, much like how Hana is in danger now because of them. Our agency sent your mother and I to protect them. We soon became best friends with each other and we warned them about being in danger. In order to better protect themselves, they agreed to join the company to learn self defense and they eventually became field agents just like us." Mr. Park stated."We were completing a mission here in Seoul when Hana's parents along with Infinite's parents were ambushed in China. Hana, your parents did die in a car accident, but it was the same accident as Infinite's parents. It wasn't just a coincidence." Mrs. Park continued. "Trust me sweetie, we wanted to tell you but they pleaded us not to until the time was right."Yet again, no reply._____________________________________________________________________________________________Hey guys, sorry for taking so long to update all the time... I hope updating once a week isn't such a nuisance to you all. I also changed the title for Ch. 8, just a little reminder for if you thought anything was wrong.Cliffhanger~~ You guys must hate me... haha.
