Chapter Title: SurpriseThe two waited for the tram at the famous landmark, “The Peak,” recommended by the manager of the hotel. ~~~~ fanned herself using the brochure she had collected from the front desk, it’s surely hotter here in Hong Kong than it is Korea. Myungsoo, the wonderful boyfriend, took out the drink bottle from his backpack and gave it to his over-heated girlfriend. She smiled in return as a thank you. But little did they know, they were being followed again with each step they took.“Deh, Mrs Kim. I have them in my sight now,” the trailer said into the microphone clipped onto the collar of his shirt.“Good, keep them in sight. I’m due to land some time tonight. It’ll sure be a surprise,” she said before disconnecting the connection while the trailer continued to water the couple as they chatted whilst still waiting.“Will we go back home after this?” She asked the older male. She knew he had the money to splurge but she didn’t want him to spend unnecessary money on something like this, she was satisfied just sitting in their apartment with him. She wasn’t fussy, being with him was all she could ask for.“Well that depends,” he smiled but with a million worrying thoughts in his head. If they left for seoul and not to Japan next, would it be safe back at home? Would his mother finally just disappear from his life like he wanted? Or would they be forced to forever be these identities that weren’t even theirs to begin with?Finally boarding the tram, the female part of the couple could not be more excited be travelling up to the building which held the view of the entire island. As the two got off the tram, they were pushed into the direction of so called markets but weren’t anything like the true markets. If anything, these markets were stores designed to look like markets but didn’t have the same feel like the local ones within the city centre.It was only 10, it would be too hot to go up onto the roof top just yet, so the two decided to go get coffee and relax before heading up to see the stunning view they were promised by Chunji.“It’s amazing that they have a place like this here, I wish we had something back at home like this,” she sighed, wishing she could carry the entire complex back with her.“We have the Seoul tower? Do you think our locks are still there?” He asked her, thinking about their first few months together. The two were happily in love with each other during those days, and to celebrate Myungsoo took ~~~~~ up to the locks of love. He remembered writing that he wished that every day he would be able to wake up beside her.“I hope so,” she smiled and traced the pattern on cup containing her iced coffee. On her lock, she wished for eternal happiness with the person who sat across from her. As young lovers, the two never imagined that they would have to face all they’ve had to, just to be able to reach the stage they’re at now.Taking her final sips of her drink, she got up and took his hands in hers.“Come on, let’s go up now,” she smiled before dragging him with her as she raced up, eager for the view.The view stunned the both of them. The buildings, tall and proud, stood next to the greenness of the trees and natural lands. The view is stunning, the entire place is stunning.As the hours ticked by, the two decided to head back down to the city centre and have more fun at the markets, trying their luck at haggling and trying to get the best bargain they could.And as the longer hand passed the 6 and the smaller hand stood between the numbers 8 and 9, a strong female figure with an evil stepped off her privet jet.“Why hello Hong Kong.” MERRY CHRISTMAS!Hope you all have a wonderful holidays, feeled with continuous joy!
