30 Days, 29 Nights Part 3 (1/2)
AN: Sorry for the long wait guys! I hit a bit of a writer’s block with this one…but here it is! And sorry in advance if it's not the best one that I've written...
30 DAYS, 29 NIGHTS (PT.3)
Day: Twenty-one
Location: Sitges, Barcelona, Spain
“Wahhh…it’s so pretty…”
“Don’t get too excited yet…we’re going to walk around the whole thing?”
“Jinjja?”
“…well, most of it…but first, let’s have some specially packed lunch made by Chef Taemin.”
“Geurae…”
Taemin took out a gigantic red blanket and laid it on the sand.
“Because it’s a Spanish colour that is used by a bullfighter…and you’ve tamed the wild beast in me…”
"You weren't that wild to begin with so it was easy to make you mine..."
He gave her a playful glare then went back to unpacking their lunch.
He took out a bottle of grape wine and two glasses.
“Because you definitely need to drink wine in Spain…and it’s better when shared with someone…”
"Are you trying to get me drunk?"
"Are you going to have questions after everything I say?"
She pouted then gestured for him to continue. He then took out a packet of churros.
“This is for later…”
"Later?"
"Naeun-ah!"
She held her hands up in defeat and pretended to zip up her lips.
He brought out one plate and poured his dish on it.
“Because Chef Taemin’s paella is better than any other…and there’s only one because I will feed my princess Naeun…Ahhhh…”
Naeun opened her mouth and Taemin spoon fed her, then kissed her on the lips. He repeated this three times before Naeun started wondering what he was doing.
“Oppa? What are you doing?”
“I’m eating…”
“Eating the food or kissing me?”
“Both. I’m already full from the taste of your lips…and the paella helps the flavour as well…”
She hit him and turned red.

Day: Twenty-two
Location: Dans Le Noir, Rue Quincampoix, France
Taemin had an idea to eat dinner completely in the dark. He took Naeun to Dans Le Noir, a restaurant run by wait-staff who were all blind, for what he called to be a “unique dining experience”. They decided to have the “surprise” menu, and were led to the dining area behind a black curtain where they were escorted by one of the waitresses to their table. When their food arrived, they were talked through where the utensils were, where the food was on their plate and how to pour wine in the dark, which was to put your finger in the glass and when you felt the wine touch your finger you would stop.
Naeun decided to play a trick on Taemin. She became very quiet and pretended to get up from her chair. When she heard Taemin calling her out, she remained silent.
“Naeun-ah…”
“…”
“Naeun-ah…”
“…”
“Oediya?”
“…”
“Naeun-ah…yah! Did you leave me?”
“…”
“Naeun-ah?”
“Ne. Oppa?”
“Where are you?”
“I’m in front of you…”
Taemin reached out for her hands and automatically found them. Naeun chuckled.
“Wae?”
“Even if we’re completely in the dark, our hands still manage to find each other…”
“Didn’t you know? Not only are we connected by our heart…but we’re connected by our hands as well…”
“I think I realised I loved you every time we held hands…”
“Jeongmal?”
“Eo…”
“Nado. I love your hands. They fit perfectly with mine.”

Day: Twenty-three
Location: Eiffel Tower, France
"Oh...wow...this food is amazing!"
"The view isn't that bad either..."
"Oppa! Mani meogo!"
"Ne! Jalmeoghaessubnida!"
They had gone to the Jules Verne Restaurant as a suggestion from Kwonho who had taken his girlfriend there. The only time they spoke was when they were waiting for the food. Once it had arrived, they ate silently, except for the casual slurping, buying and chewing, trying to engulf the entire plate down their throats and into their stomachs.
"Tell Kwonho Oppa that he really knows how to pick good food..."
"Yah! I'm the one that took you here, why aren't you thanking me?"
"You took me here, but he suggested it!"
"Don't talk about another guy in front of me!"
After they had finished their food, they decided to take some photographs.
"Naeun-ah, hold that side of the camera and I'll hold this side..."
"Wae?"
When they got the camera in position, Taemin told Naeun to face him and then close her eyes. He closed the gap between them and landed a kiss on her lips, then pressed the button on the Polaroid to capture the moment.
"Oppa, look straight ahead..."
He did as he was told and then she placed a gentle kiss on his jawline and closed her eyes as his cheeks rose up. She pressed the button and took another photograph.
When the photos had finished developing, they took one each and put it in their wallets.
"My new cover photo for my wallet...I'm going to show it off to everyone!"
"Nado!"
"Let's make them jealous!"

Day: Twenty-four
Location: St Jean de Luz, France
"It's so pretty!"
"That's not the best part...look!"
Naeun watched as the light refracted against the water and created a green light coming from the skies.
"It's a once in a lifetime view..."
"Eung...it reminds me of Gatsby..."
"Why?"
"You know how he lived across from the Buchanons? And every night he saw that green light across the water? It kind of looks like that..."
"So close but so far?"
"Like the green light was out of his reach? Like how Daisy was out of his reach?"
"We'll lucky for me, the love of my life sleeps in the same bed as me...and I don't have to reach that far in order for me to have her in my arms..."

Day: Twenty-five
Location: Hotel Room, France
After finishing up the dare in the rain, Taemin and Naeun went back into their hotel room.
“Where were we meant to go today, Oppa?"
“I was going to take you to Disneyland, like I promised.”
“But we already went to the one in California…”
“Still…it’s good to feel like we’re young and enjoying ourselves…”
“Oppa, we’re not even 30, yet. We still have a lot of youthfulness in us…”
“I don’t know. I like hanging out with you…like this…going on rides…but then again, I don’t mind where I am as long as I’m with you…”
“Same with me…but, there’s something about going to those parks…like when you and I first started dating, those were the type of things that we liked doing together. But, you know what, Oppa?”
“Mwo?”
