30 Days, 29 Nights Part 1 (1/1)

AN: Hey guys! So, you’ve been requesting for a honeymoon…and here it is! First off, I want to say that I’ve never been to Europe (but I would like to go!) and so I can’t guarantee accuracy in terms of experiences of going to these places. And secondly, some of you guys have been requesting for M-rated oneshots or scenes, and as much I want to fulfil your requests, I really can’t write those kinds of things. I tried to, but twenty words in and I was starting to cringe and get embarrassed. I’m really sorry about that…but, I still hope that you enjoy the story. Anyway, to try to make up for it, I’ve tried to include as much cheese as I can…As always, thanks for reading (:-------------------------------------------------------------------For hkitty23 + min2jyjhomin30 DAYS, 29 NIGHTS (PT.1)Day: OneLocation: Lake District National Park, United KingdomTaemin wanted to show off. He told Naeun to get into boat, while he pushed it off from its docked state on the edge of the shoreline. He placed his hands on the back of the wooden boat and pushed with all his might until it set off. He waded into the water and climbed on in the most unflattering manner, clamouring into it in a barely dignified state, one leg over the other, prompting Naeun to stifle her laughter, and the other foreign couple to cock their head to the side, as if to say “what a strange man.”Taemin pulled himself into a sitting position and reached out to the two oars. He took a look at the other couple, which made Naeun turn her head and then stifle another bout of laughter. The other couple had pushed off the boat together, and effortlessly got in with grace and poise.“Aish…”“Gwaenchanha, Oppa…you’re still much cooler than that guy…”“Jinjja?”“Of course. Taemin Oppa, jjang!”She gave him a ‘thumbs up’ as he started to row towards the centre of the lake. After rowing for twenty minutes, Naeun had noticed that the other couple were far ahead of them, and when she turned around to survey their surroundings, it seemed as if they hadn’t gotten very far. It turns out that Taemin was putting more strength into the right oar, which steered them off course, and around in circles.“Oppa…let’s take a break…”“Wae?”“I think you’re tired…”“I’m not tired…”“You are. Why don’t you let me row for a bit?”“Shiro!”“Wae?”“This was supposed to be romantic…I should be the one rowing…”“Please? I want to try too…”“Ahrasso…”Naeun grabbed the oars and started to paddle, and in no time at all, they were towards the centre of the lake. Taemin sighed.“Of course…uri Naeun is better at this than me…”“Yah! No sad face! This is the first day of our honeymoon! Seulpeo hajima, no no no…”Taemin smiled.“You’re right! No sad face! I’m not co-ordinated at rowing but I’m good at something else.”“What?”“Declaring my love for you…”And before Naeun could speak, Taemin put his hands to his face and shouted, “NAEUN-AH SARANGHAE!”----////----Day: TwoLocation: Kensington Gardens, London, United KingdomTaemin and Naeun hired two bikes to go around Kensington Gardens. The view was breath-taking, and the rush of the cool breeze on their faces, made the atmosphere completely refreshing. Taemin decided to play around and he started to pedal faster so that he overtook her and got ahead. When he was about fifty metres in front of her, he put his feet down and looked back, and saw her pouting face. He winked at her and then extended his hand behind him.“Illiwa…”She started to pedal towards him and then grabbed his hand.“1…2…3…Let’s go…”They pushed off together and pedalled hand in hand until they got tired. They set their bikes down and took out the sandwiches they purchased from the bakery near their hotel.“Masisseo?”“Eung…”She gave him a bite of her sandwich as he gave her a bite of his. He started to take off the crust and then walked up to the edge of the water. She got up and followed him and watched as he tore off small pieces and then fed the ducks.“What are you doing?”“Feeding the ducks?”“Why?”“We should share nice things with others…”“Ahrasso…”And Naeun started to feed them as well.“Oppa…look…baby ducks…They’re so cute!”“Quack!”Taemin pecked her on the cheek.“Quack!”He pecked her on the other cheek.“Quack!”He pecked her on the lips.----////----Day: ThreeLocation: Stonehenge, Salisbury, United KingdomTaemin was able to manage to get a special access tour of the Stonehenge, and he walked hand in hand with Naeun to the centre of the great monument with the other lucky twenty four people as well as the tour guide.The tour guide was rattling off about its history and its beauty, but Taemin wasn’t paying attention. All he could see was the wide open skies, and his favourite girl amidst the beautiful background. He couldn’t help but snap a candid shot of her as she looked around in awe.“Wahhh…it’s definitely one of the wonders of the world…”She beckoned for him to come closer to her to admire the view. He got out the camera and showed her he photograph that he took of her.“And you, are the wonder of my world…”----////----Day: FourLocation: Bath, United KingdomAfter walking around the streets of Bath the whole day, Naeun was suspecting that they were driving back to their hotel when Taemin had pulled up a rented car. He opened the door for her and strapped her in. They were moving outside of the city.“This isn’t the way to the hotel…”“We’re not going to the hotel?”“Are you kidnapping me?”“Why can’t I? It’s payback for the crime you’ve committed against me…”“What crime?”“You stole my heart and have yet to give it back.”Naeun held back a smile and answered with a serious expression.“Okay. Stop the car and I’ll give your heart back to you. Just please, let me go.”He took his eyes off the road for a second and looked back at her.“I’m never going to let you go. Just keep my heart forever.”She beamed at him, and then caressed his arm.“Seriously, Oppa…where are we going?”“I’m kidnapping you or a romantic getaway in the skies. Look out your window.”She did as she was told and saw a hot air balloon.“Are we doing that?”“If by that, you mean going hot air ballooning, then yes, we are doing that…”She clapped her hands in excitement.“Maeume deuro?”“Yes. Hot air ballooning at sunset with my nampyeon? Best ending for another memorable day…Gomawo, Oppa…”“Anytime…”----////----Day: FiveLocation: York Maze, York, United Kingdom“Oppa! Let’s do that!”He turned to see what Naeun was pointing at and saw that it was a huge maze made entirely out of maize plants.“Ahrasso, gaja!”He made a grab for her hand but she pulled away.“I thought you wanted to go?”“Let’s play hide and seek.”“In there?”“Eo. I’ll go in first and then you have to try and find me.”He put his hands in his pocket and smiled.“Of course, I’ll find you. I have this sixth sense that goes looking for you whenever you’re not around.”“Let’s put it to the test then…”Naeun went in first and told him to wait ten minutes before he went inside. He turned his back as she scurried inside. Checking his watch, he went in after ten minutes and started navigating through the maze. After fiftenn minutes he made it to the centre, and after another ten minutes, he already made it to the exit. He was starting to sweat, and scary scenarios were starting to run through his head. He felt a tap on his shoulder.“Looking for me?”“Yah! Where were you?”“I was next to you the whole time.”“What?”“I wasn’t hiding. I was following you.”“How?”“I waited by the entrance and followed you around. You had actually found me in all the places you went to, but I was running away.”“Still…”“It proves one thing…no matter where I run, Oppa will always find me…”“All the paths of this world lead up to you…”----////----Day: SixLocation: Stockholm Old Town, Stockholm, SwedenTaemin began to dance on the street which caused a few people to look at the couple.“Oppa? What are you doing?”“Dancing…”“You’re chipper today?”“I’m just happy.”“You’re always happy, but today you seem really excited…”“It feels like we’ve stepped back in time. Wait…”He walked around her so that he was towards the outside of the street.“Why did you do that?”“Because I’m a gentleman and the women should always be on the inside, being protected by her man…”“I could be walking on any part of the street and I’d still be protected…because you are my superman. Wait…”She stopped walking and made him face her. She got up on her toes and pulled him into a kiss, oblivious to the other people around them.“What was that for?”“A sign of my appreciation for your protection…”“I could get used to that…and by the way, anytime and anywhere…you can definitely show me how much you appreciate me…”And he gave her another kiss on the lips and then ran off like an embarrassed little boy, making her chase after him.----////----Day: SevenLocation: Moderna Museet, Stockholm, SwedenThe Moderna Museet allowed its patrons to get creative. Taemin and Naeun joined one of the sessions and got to draw all over a big sheet of paper on the floor. There were lots of kids there who put their hand prints on the paper and drew funny squiggles and abstract drawings of flowers and renditions of the classic family portrait of stick people. As always, Taemin and Naeun were lost in their own world. Naeun was trying to draw a picture of the city landscape, but Taemin was trying to distract her because he felt a lack of attention from her.He dabbed a spot of black paint on her cheek.“Yah! Hajima!”“Naeun-ah…”“Oppa…you’re behaving like more of a child than the kids in this room…”“Naeun-ah…”“Wae?”“Can you draw me?”“Ahrasso…”She began to paint a portrait of him which garnered attention from some of the other people in the room.“You’re very good a drawing…”“Thank you…”She turned to her husband who was grinning from ear to ear.“Are you satisfied with my drawing?”“Sure.”“That’s all you can say?”“Yep.”“I thought you wanted me to paint you…”“That was just an excuse.”“For what?”“For you to look at me, since you were too busy painting your city masterpiece…”“Oppa…you know I only look at you…”And with that she put a patch of paint on his nose, which turned into a mini “face” painting session, that got all the other kids in the room to start painting themselves rather than the paper that had been laid out.----////----Day: EightLocation: Gröna Lund Amusement Park, Stockholm, SwedenOne of the ‘must-dos’ for Taemin and Naeun were to go to the Amusement Park. They went on all of the scary rides, but their favourite was the ‘Eclipse’. It was the world’s largest star flyer which gave them a complete view over Stockholm.They were seated up in the air, whizzing past, and getting a good view over the city. Everything seemed to small, and they felt like they were on top of the world, together.“Jaemisseo!”“Whoooo! Wanjeon Jaemisseo!”They had to yell so that they could hear each other.“This is like a dream of mine…”“What dream?”“To go flying with you…”“Didn’t we do that in the hot air balloon?” “Not really…this one’s much faster…”“We’re like Peter Pan and Wendy…soaring over everything…without any cares in the world…”The ride soon came to a halt, and Taemin and Naeun came down from the clouds.Taemin began to hum a tune.“Sing for me…”“What?”“Whatever you were humming…sing it for me…”“Forevery young…I wanna be forever young…do you really want to live forever, forever…forever young…”“Oppa…let’s be forever young…”“And eternally in love…”----////----Day: NineLocation: ABBA Museum, Stockholm, Sweden“You are the dancing queen…young and sweet only seventeen…dancing queen…feel the beat of the tambourine…oh yeah…you can dance…you can jive…having the time of your life…oooohhhh…see that girl…watch that scene…diggin’ the dancing queen…”Naeun could hold in her laughter. Taemin wanted to try out the karaoke at the museum and his charismatic singing couldn’t help but draw in a small crowd. He finished belting out the lyrics and bowed which drew in applause from those who were watching. Before he left the stage, he cleared his throat and pointed to Naeun.“That girl over there is my dancing queen…Naeun-ah…illiwa…”Shyly she walked over to him. He started to sing the song again but added in a few dance moves this time.“Naeun-ah…don’t let me do this by myself…let’s do it together…just follow me…”He grabbed her hand and they started to dance together, as the audience cheered loudly. When they finished they walked off the stage together but not before listening to the crowd’s final request.“KISS! KISS! KISS!”He grabbed the microphone again and smiled.“As you wish…”He put his hands on either side of Naeun’s face and then drew her in for a kiss.----////----Day: TenLocation: Neuenheim, Heidelberg, Germany“Naeun-ah…let’s go in there…”Naeun looked at what he was pointing to and found a beautiful café called Café Knösel. They sat down at one of the tables while Taemin went and ordered something. He came back with a small piece of confectionary wrapped in red.“What’s that?”“This is what this café is famous for…”He handed it over to her and she examined it.“Chocolate?”“Not just any chocolate…it’s called the ‘Student Kiss’”“Why?”“Because, in this café, a lot of young girls came to look for good-looking guys and vice versa. But, they couldn’t talk to each other because their governesses wouldn’t let them. The guy that invented this, noticed that, and invented this chocolate which became a token of affection which could be given as gifts. So, I’m giving one to you, to express my deep affection for you…”“Are you sure it’s just affection?”“Maybe a bit more…”“Like?”“Like, maybe I love you?”“That’s a relief…”She broke the chocolate in half and handed one half to Taemin“…because I love you too…”
