Took My Breath Away (1/1)

Later that night, Hoseok decided to stay at the company together with Namjoon and Yoongi. While the other two went to their dungeon - dungeon was what the maknae line called their small studio -  Hoseok spent time dancing at the practice room alone. He loved it when he was sweating hard doing the thing he loved the most. He loved dancing because he was good at it and because that was the only time where he could actually stop thinking. He collapsed on the floor after the last song ended. He was breathing heavily, a smile of pure satisfaction painted on his face. He had an idea for their next choreography. Maybe he should dance to it and record it or maybe he should just sleep there because when was the last time he really did fall asleep. That brought his mind back to the real reason why he was there tonight. Taehyung was coming back to the dorm and he didn’t know how to welcome him. He sounded stupid when he said that even in his head. Was he stupid? He should be. That’s why he wasn’t there to welcome his best friend. He sat up and crawled to the corner of the room, having no energy left to walk over. He rummaged through his back pack and took out his phone. How was he supposed to see Taehyung when only the thoughts of seeing messages from Taehyung had already made him smile like a retard? And he did smile like a retard after seeing nine new messages from Taehyung that he had purposely ignored just for the fun of it. The messages were just Taehyung urging him to come back to the dorm and complaining about Jimin and JungKook. He put his phone back in his bag and climbed back on his feet, deciding whether he should turn the music back on or not. He stared at the image of himself in the mirror and wiped his face. He was already so tired so he decided to go look for Yoongi instead. He always looked for Yoongi first. When he reached the dungeon, he didn’t even bother knocking. He opened the door as quietly as possible but Yoongi was playing a song so loud he didn’t actually have to walk in like a ninja. He slid into the room and sat on a dark brown couch right behind Yoongi’s desk. Yoongi was writing something at his desk, his head bobbing to the music.   There was something very satisfying to be able to watch Yoongi  working. He was always overflowed with his passion for music. Hoseok swore Yoongi glowed whenever he showed him his effusion work.   Hoseok lied down on the couch. God he was so tired. He closed his eyes and hoped that sleep will come to him. The room was deafening but he could sleep through the loud music. Loud music was also one of the things that stopped him from thinking. It was crazy how that works out but it had never failed him before. Sleep had evaded him since the concert night. He was either constantly worried about Taehyung or the other members to even take a nap. The longest sleep he had was always in the waiting room. He should have been in his own comfortable bed now. He should have been in the dorm eating whatever Seokjin had prepared for them. Of course Seokjin would have cooked something. They should be waiting for Taehyung to come back. They could have celebrated it. Was he okay now? He looked fine though. Would Taehyung be upset to not find him in the dorm when he came back? Who was taking care of him now? Jimin? JungKook? That maknae? No way. Seokjin was at the dorm so SeokJin could take care of him. But what if SeokJin went out too? That’s highly unlikely to happen. Seokjin was the most caring person he had ever known. He wouldn’t leave Taehyung in the dorm alone with JungKook and Jimin. Those two were too playful that it was nearly dangerous to not keep an eye on them. They better not be playing any of their stupid games while Taehyung was still walking in sloth speed. He couldn’t just blame JungKook and Jimin if Taehyung played along with them. Taehyung could be the one asking them to play with him first. Taehyung was an idiot. He sought fun even in the most inappropriate time. Hoseok groaned and grabbed his hair out of frustration. How the hell did Taehyung manage to creep back in his mind? “Too loud, Hobi.” Hoseok’s eyes fluttered open and found Yoongi staring at him. He didn’t even realize that Yoongi had turned the music down. “What?” Hoseok asked. “Your mind. It’s too loud. I can hear you.” Yoongi leaned forward in his chair, his elbows on his knees, and his head cocked to one side.
