Yoona looked out at the crowd. It was Leeteuk and Taeyeon’s second year anniversary and Yoona attended along with Seunghyun. Leeteuk threw a high class party, only inviting close friends, family, business associates, actors and actresses, models, directors, and so on. It was filled with very important people. There were people from Japan, Britain, America, Spain, et cetera. Yoona looked at Seunghyun who was talking to Leeteuk casually. It was as if they had never had a feud. Of course, the media thought that it was a publicity stunt in fooling them, but they soon let go of that. There was at least one photographer in every room. It annoyed Yoona.Yoona looked over at Leeteuk and Seunghyun. They were whispering something to each other as if they were best friends again. Yoona began to be curious at their words to each other. They both looked at Yoona glaring at them from a distance. They started to giggle to themselves as Yoona crossed her arms.“I swear that you two started a bromance with each other,” Yoona laughed.“I know. I’m happy that these two are getting along now, but it’s like they’re in love with each other now!” Taeyeon complained with humor.Leeteuk smiled as he put his arm around Taeyeon. It was their anniversary anyways. Seunghyun was a bit shy to do the same with Yoona, so he decided to just sit still. Leeteuk then stood up as Taeyeon did the same. Leeteuk cleared his throat as the crowd of guests slowly went into silence. Leeteuk smiled brightly as he took Taeyeon’s hand into his. Taeyeon was grinning like an idiot.“Well, I would like to thank everyone for coming to our second year anniversary. Taeyeon and I have been through many obstacles and I married her exactly two years ago knowing that I was going to spend the rest of my life with her. We have a very important announcement. As you all know, my sister Yoona is now five months pregnant. She’s more than half way through with her pregnancy and well, I’m just excited to say that my future niece is going to have a cousin,” Leeteuk sang.Photographers were flashing lights everywhere. Leeteuk was announcing Taeyeon’s pregnancy and it was a shock to everyone, including Yoona and Seunghyun. Yoona stood up with delight and gave Leeteuk and Taeyeon a congratulatory hug. Seunghyun hugged Leeteuk and Taeyeon as photographers continued to take pictures. Yoona was just amazed. Taeyeon had been trying to get pregnant ever since they got married, but it never worked out. Leeteuk personally went against artificial fertilization and only agreed to old fashioned methods. Yoona was just happy that she finally got pregnant.After all the chaos calmed down a bit, Seunghyun and Yoona went outside of the Park mansion to chat a bit. Leeteuk and Taeyeon were still busy talking to reporters about the news. Seunghyun sat on a bench next to Yoona as Yoona looked out at the front yard. The front yard was gigantic. It had a little pond, a large fountain, trees, flowers, and statues everywhere. Yoona began to laugh at some memories.“What are you laughing at?” Seunghyun asked.“You see that fountain right there?” Yoona pointed at the fountain as Seunghyun nodded, “That was the fountain where my brothers and I used to play hide and seek around. I remember one time, Heechul fell into it and he cried like a baby. My parents then ran out and started yelling at us for laughing at Heechul.”“This house has so many memories for you and your family,” Seunghyun stated.“Yes, it does. I just love this place. How about your house? Does it have any special memories?” Yoona asked.“Nope, after my father died, my mother was busy working and we didn’t do much,” Seunghyun answered.Yoona then saw Yuri and Taeyang walk in the premises holding hands. As soon as Yuri saw that Seunghyun was with Yoona, she quickly let go of Taeyang’s hand. Seunghyun looked instantly irritated. Yuri and Taeyang approached the couple with signs of nervousness and anxiety. Seunghyun had a stern look on his face.“Why are you two together again? Didn’t I make it clear that you two can’t date?” Seunghyun shouted.Yoona thanked God that there was no one in the front yard other than themselves. It would have made a scene or something.“Oppa, I just—,” Yuri tried to explain.“Yuri, why can’t you ever listen to whatever I say? It’s not right that you’re dating my best friend,” Seunghyun coldly answered.“Seunghyun, don’t be so harsh with her,” Taeyang tried to butt in.“Taeyang, keep out of it. This is between me and my sister,” Seunghyun said.Yoona was irritated at Seunghyun. How can he be saying this so rudely? He didn’t control the both of them. He had no business on whether they dated or not. Yuri looked upset. She ran back to the car as Taeyang ran after her. Seunghyun crossed his arms as he sat down on the bench again. Yoona looked at him with disbelief.“You stupid babo,” Yoona muttered.“What? How am I a fool?” Seunghyun asked.“How can you be so insensitive towards your sister? She’s the only sister that you have so don’t try to upset her! What if she runs away or something? What if she runs away and avoids you?” Yoona shouted.“How do you know that she’ll run away? That doesn’t make any sense,” Seunghyun laughed at Yoona.“That’s what I did when Leeteuk disapproved of my pregnancy! Why can’t you see that Taeyang and Yuri are just another example of you and me?” Yoona bit her lip.Seunghyun looked confused. Yoona grunted in frustration at his lack in understanding.“Doesn’t it remind you of us when you disapproved of Taeyang and Yuri’s relationship? That’s what Leeteuk did! He disapproved of my relationship with you! Why can’t you see that if you continue to act like this to Yuri, she may end up like me! And how dare you say that it’s wrong for them to date each other just because she’s your sister and he’s your best friend. How do you think Yuri felt when I got married to you? And how do you think Leeteuk felt when his best friend/enemy got married to his little sister? Just let them date each other already!” Yoona shrieked.It hit Seunghyun like a car. He was being kind of stupid. What was wrong with them dating anyways? Seunghyun would have probably approved of them earlier if he wasn’t his best friend and if she wasn’t his sister. They did look good together and he knew long before they did that they were compatible. Seunghyun just felt kind of stupid for ignoring the facts and disapproving their relationship.He looked at Yoona and she instantly frowned. She saw Hara looking at them both from the front gate. It shocked Yoona that she didn’t even walk inside. Yoona looked at her coldly as Hara glared back at her. Yoona stood up with a little bit of anger.“Go and talk to your girlfriend. While you’re at it, you two should plan another one of your secret dates,” Yoona spat as she walked back to the mansion.Seunghyun looked at Hara. She looked weak. He saw Yoona swiftly walk back to the house with lots of attitude. He sighed loudly as Hara beckoned at him to come towards her. He looked at her as he walked towards her. She looked really happy to see him. Seunghyun just stared at her as she began to talk.“Seunghyun, you haven’t been answering any of my calls. What has happened? Is that evil woman keeping you away from me? It’s her huh?! She and that evil baby are manipulating you!” Hara shrieked.“Hara, you sound insane! What are you talking about? She’s not evil and so is the baby!” Seunghyun fired back.“Seunghyun, you’re talking nonsense. She’s out to get the both of us. Why can’t you see?” Hara yelled.“Hara, I think there’s something wrong with you. Are you under something? You’re acting so weird.”“Why are you being so defiant? Are you actually siding with her now?”Seunghyun saw that she was starting to look upset. Seunghyun looked away. He just didn’t like how she was talking badly about Yoona and the baby. He knew that Hara had a deep hate for the both of them, but it just went too far calling the both of them evil. Seunghyun knew that deep down, Hara was slowly losing herself. Seunghyun was just so irritated that he walked away from her into the mansion with Yoona and the rest of his family.“Seunghyun, you’re making a mistake!” Hara cursed.Seunghyun walked inside of the mansion and slammed the door angrily. He saw Yoona there sitting next to Yuri on a nearby couch. Yoona looked alert to see Seunghyun so fired up. Yuri left as she automatically saw her brother. Yoona gave him a guilty look as Yuri walked out of the room.“She’s still upset with me?” Seunghyun asked.“Well, I would be too. You prohibited her from being with someone she really loves,” Yoona said.“I know that she’s not going to listen to me even when I said that they can’t go out. It runs in the family. My mother warned me about Hara and told me to never see her again, but I didn’t listen. That was the same with my mother and father’s ex girlfriend and boyfriend before they got into that arranged marriage. They refused to stop seeing them. What makes me think that Yuri is going to listen to me?” Seunghyun asked.“Don’t think that Yuri doesn’t respect you. She just could make her own decisions now. She’s not a girl anymore—she’s a grown woman,” Yoona added.Seunghyun’s head began to hurt. He had to deal with Hara and his unhappy sister. His sister was unhappy! Why would he make his sister unhappy?! He was just frustrated with everything. Nothing in life was going his way. It never went his way and he just moped about that a lot. The anniversary party was soon over within a few hours. It was still tense between Yuri and Seunghyun so Yoona suggested that Seunghyun and her return home earlier.Yoona looked at her husband as she looked down at her phone calendar. She had six months left. She had six months left to be with him and well, she had to admit that it was a long shot of him confessing his love for her. She believed that the only reason why he was with her was because of the baby and the only reason she loved him was because he was the father of her baby. Yoona saw his face and he was unhappy. Yoona knew that she couldn’t be the woman in his life to make him happy, but she at least wanted to make his life better before she left after the divorce.“Seunghyun, tell me why you’re not happy,” she suddenly burst out saying.“Yoona, it’s complicated. Yuri isn’t happy with me and well, I just don’t accept her relationship with Taeyang. It would be so weird if they broke up. If they got married and if there’s a problem, there’ll be a divorce. I know I sound unreasonable for thinking about marriage already, but you just can’t blame me. They both date only with marriage in mind. Wouldn’t it just be awkward if they had a divorce?” Seunghyun questioned.“First of all, you’re not even sure if they would get divorced if they would get married. They could last. And secondly, divorces don’t have to be awkward. We’re getting a divorce in six months. That means that half of our lives together are already over. I don’t want it to be awkward between us. For goodness sakes, we’re having a daughter. We can at least be friends, right? I know that our daughter will have a hard time adjusting to the idea that you’re going to be married to Hara and that I’m going to be married to Siwon, but we’ll just make the best out of it. And that’s what you should do with your situation with Yuri. Make the best out of it. You know, I see why you were such close friends with Leeteuk. You two talk alike. You walk alike. You think alike. You both have such a tight grip on their little sisters. Leeteuk let me go, and you should too,” Yoona advised.Seunghyun heard her words softly. He couldn’t believe that six months have already passed. In another six months, he couldn’t call Yoona his wife anymore. He looked down at his hands. He saw Yoona give him an encouraging smile as she walked to the bedroom. Seunghyun followed her into the bedroom. He saw that she was under the covers. He sat by her side as she looked at him with confusion and laughter.“What are you doing?” Yoona laughed.“Nothing, I just wanted to sit here,” Seunghyun answered.“Well, you better go to sleep already. You have to attend work tomorrow,” Yoona smiled.Yoona’s eyes slowly closed as she fell asleep. Seunghyun could hear her soft breathing. For about a minute or two, Seunghyun was just staring at her face—her innocent face. He had stripped that of her. He took away everything from her. He took away one year of her life. He took away her virginity. He took away time that she could have spent with her family. The only things that he really gave her were negative things. He gave her tears that lasted for weeks. He gave her heartache. He even gave her neglect when she needed him by her side. He didn’t deserve her, but he couldn’t help but thank God that she came into his life. Of course in the beginning, he didn’t want anything to do with her, but he had to admit that she was growing on him. She was growing on him like a weed in a garden full of flowers. He didn’t want her there, but she persisted just like a weed. He gently caressed her smooth cheek with his left hand. Whenever he touches her, he always got a tingly feeling just like the first day that he met her. She gently shuddered at the touch.“Yoona, I want to apologize to you,” Seunghyun said.Seunghyun knew that Yoona was sleeping, but he didn’t care. He didn’t want her hearing it anyways. He just needed to express what he felt for her.“I want to say sorry for standing you up to see Hara. I want to say sorry for making you cry several times. I want to apologize for being the biggest ass in the history of asses. I know that I don’t deserve you. I just don’t know why you keep coming back to me. I really think it’s because you know that I need you. I know that you know that I secretly saw Hara behind your back, but don’t worry. I haven’t seen her in about three weeks already. I want to be fully committed to you and the baby. I really can’t believe that six months have passed by. It went by so quickly and well, I think that it went by so fast because I kind of—well I did enjoy being with you. You make me laugh, smile, and even giggle. I feel like you know me more than Hara—and well I know you more than I know her too, but this is going to end soon. In six months, you’re going to sign those divorce papers and look at me when it’s my turn to sign it. I’m going to see the baby in your arms, and I’ll feel guilty because I think that Siwon will be better than I am. When I sign those papers, I’m going to end our life together and I don’t want that happening yet, but it has to be done. You’re happier with Siwon and I’m not going to hold you back because you deserve better than a man like me. I just want to say that I really lo—,” Seunghyun stopped.He heard a sudden screech like a car halting in the front yard. She saw that Yuri and Taeyang were getting out of the car. Yuri looked miserable as she stepped out of the car. Seunghyun walked out of the balcony and saw them talking. Seunghyun saw hurt in Yuri’s eyes as she looked at Taeyang with remorse. Taeyang just looked at her with concern.“I can’t see you anymore. I thought that oppa would approve of us over time, but he isn’t going to budge. I’m sorry,” Yuri whispered.Taeyang looked shocked. Seunghyun was even more shocked. She was going to follow his orders even if it was unreasonable and unsound.“Yuri, we can make this work. We really can! We just need to give him more time—,” Taeyang tried to persuade.“No, it’s not going to work. Oppa has a lot of pride and he isn’t going to give in,” Yuri said.Seunghyun felt a lot of guilt building up in his heart. He closed his eyes gently. He couldn’t believe that he was going to do this.“Yuri,” he broke out.Yuri looked up and was in shock to see that her brother was listening the whole time during their conversation. Yuri was kind of in shock. Taeyang looked startled to see Seunghyun with a smile while looking down at them.“I officially approve of you two together. You two have my blessing for a relationship. Sorry I was being such an ass,” Seunghyun said.Seunghyun heard Yoona grunting in her sleep as she shifted in the bed. Seunghyun chuckled as he nodded at the two of them and walked back to the room. Seunghyun shut the balcony door leaving the two in astonishment.“It’s more surprising seeing oppa like that. I was surprised to hear that he approves of us, but I’m more surprised to see that he grinned and giggled when he heard Yoona grunting. He’s falling for her,” Yuri observed.“I know he is. I knew it from the start from the first time he saw her in that club,” Taeyang answered.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
