Seunghyun was in his office as he began to look at the charts that his secretary just gave him.  The charts indicated that since his marriage with Yoona, the Park family’s investments and company increased.  The merge even increased his company’s profit as well.  He put the charts down and walked to the coffee machine in the corner of his office.  He pulled out the hot metal pot of brewed black coffee and poured it into a mug.  He drank it quickly because he needed the caffeine.  He had been all up all night reading over some important documents.  After his day in work, he knew that he wouldn’t be able to rest right away.  He still had to assist Yoona in her doctor’s appointment to the gynecologist.  He sighed.  He did want to go with to come with her to the doctor’s appointment, but the last thing he wanted was to hear about all the things about the female reproductive systems that are going through pregnancy.  He jumped a little as he heard his phone ring.  He looked at the screen and his phone displayed that it was Goo Hara that was calling him.             “Hello,” he greeted as he picked up.             “Seunghyun, honey!  I missed you so much!  We haven’t met up since last week!  Well, I really want to go out and I wanted to ask if you wanted to go out on a date with me today,” Hara proposed.             “You know, today’s not a good time.  I have—,” Seunghyun was cut off.             “Please just go with me!  I never spend enough time with you ever since you got married!  Please, if you don’t go, it’s like you’re saying that you would rather have that Park girl than me.  I thought you love me?!” she whined.             “I really can’t because I need to help her—,“ he was interrupted again.             “Oh…my…gosh; don’t tell me that you’re going to ditch me for that Park girl!  Babe, I thought that you loved me!  It’s like you want to break up with me.  I thought that this marriage with her was only temporary!” she cried out.             Seunghyun took a deep breath.  He was tired and weak, but he did love Goo Hara.              “Fine, I’ll go.  I’ll pick you up soon,” he said.            At the Choi Mansion…             Yoona was preparing breakfast.  She knew that Seunghyun had stayed up all  night in the office and she knew that he would be tired and hungry when he came home.  Yoona set up all the food in the table and set the plates.  She took out six plates since Minsun had already returned to New York.  Jiyoung was with Seunghyun so they probably were coming home together.  Daesung, Yuri, and Seungri walked in the dining room together.  They had pleasant expressions on their face.             “Wow, what’s that aroma?  It smells so good!” Seungri cried out.             Yoona smiled, “I made breakfast.  I hope you guys enjoy it.”             Yuri sat down happily and rubbed her palms together as if she was ready to eat.             “Hey, don’t be eating yet, Yuri!  We need to wait for Seunghyun and Jiyoung to come back!  That one time we ate without Jiyoung, Seunghyun got angry with us and said that because we’re a family, it’s only right that we eat as a family!” Daesung interrupted.             Yoona heard the door open and saw that Jiyoung had walked into the door—alone.  Yoona tried to keep a smile on her face to hide her disappointment that Seunghyun wasn’t with him.  Jiyoung tried giving Yoona an uplifting smile, but he could sense the disappointment in her.             “I’m sorry, Yoona, but Seunghyun couldn’t make it home and well—let’s just say that he had an appointment with another client.  If you still need help with your doctor’s appointment, I’ll be more than happy to assist you,” Jiyoung offered.             “No, it’s okay.  I’ll find someone else to help me,” Yoona said.             “Oh, and one more thing:  Seunghyun told me that you cannot bring Siwon with you to that appointment.  I’m sorry and I know he’s acting like a jerk,” Jiyoung tried to make her smile.             Yoona appreciated his attempt to make her smile as she sat down and began to eat on the table.  Jiyoung sat across from her as she looked at the empty plate right next to her.  She had a feeling that this was how he was going to be throughout the marriage:  someone who back out often.             Yoona asked Jessica to assist her to the doctor’s appointment and Jessica agreed right away.  Yuri couldn’t make it since she was going to help out with the family business only for today.  Yoona picked Jessica up and Jessica looked at her as she noticed that her best friend was just out of it.  She looked very distracted.             “Yoona, tell me, what happened?  I haven’t seen you ever since your honeymoon!  Don’t tell me that you and he did that thing again!” Jessica shouted.             “No, we didn’t!  We had one week together and he was a jerk in the first night, so I decided to ignore him the whole week!  He was just a stupid monster!” Yoona cried out.             “Tell me the whole story.”             “It’s a long story.”             “I’ve got time.”             Yoona sighed.  Jessica was a really good friend.  She was always there for Yoona and she was a good listener.  Yoona was just thankful that she was there for her.  Yoona wanted to tear up, but she told herself that she wasn’t going to cry because of Choi Seunghyun.  She parked in the parking lot of the gynecologist’s office and just sat there in the driver’s seat.             “Well in the honeymoon, Siwon called me.  He wanted to get back with me despite the fact that I was pregnant and married to another man.  He even offered to treat the baby as if it was his own.  Well, after he called me, Seunghyun came into the room drunk.  He was forcefully trying to have sex with me and I was scared.  I ended up crying during my whole wedding night in the restroom as the door was locked.  I don’t think he remembers any of the events that happened that  night, but I still didn’t appreciate it.  When we got home to Korea, I was kind of shocked that he walked in when Siwon and I were having dinner together.  He looked so mad, and I was surprised.  Now, I can’t talk to Siwon, but don’t worry; it’ll only last one year,” Yoona assured her.             “Honestly, he sounds like a big jerk!” Jessica exclaimed, “What the heck is wrong with him?  I thought that he was supposedly in love with that model chick!  Yoona, I think this man is starting to like you.  If he didn’t care about you, he probably would have let you see Siwon.  He’s being jealous!”             “I don’t know.  I doubt that he likes me, but the night that he told me that I can’t see Siwon anymore, I told him that it would only be fair that he didn’t see his Hara either.  I’ve been ignoring Siwon’s calls and texts just to keep my end of that deal,” Yoona stated.             “Yuri’s brother is confusing!” Jessica announced, “After the doctor’s appointment, you want to go out and have a friendship day with the both of us?  I remember me, you, Yuri, and Sunny were the F4 of our high school!  Ah, and we used to have friendship days often, but I guess it’ll only be the two of us!  You up for it?”             “Sure, I need it,” Yoona laughed.             The doctor’s appointment went pretty smooth.  There were no complications with Yoona’s pregnancy and the doctor told her to maintain a healthy, balanced diet and to exercise often.  Yoona was already doing that.  She hadn’t been eating her usual junk food diet.  Since she was born, she knew that no matter how much she ate or what she ate, she wouldn’t gain a pound, but now that she was expecting, she knew that the food that she was eating was unhealthy for the baby.  Now she was eating as much as organic food with nutritional value as she can.  She got another print out of the baby’s ultrasound picture.  She smiled as she put it in her purse.  Jessica pulled her out of the building with excitement.             “First, we’re going to go to the spa and get our nails done, and then we’re going to go shopping for some new clothes.  After that, we’re going to go to the movies and watch a movie!” Jessica planned out.             “Slow down!  I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to handle all of that,” Yoona joked.             After getting their nails done, they went straight to the mall; it was getting kind of late, so they decided to go to the movies another time.  They went to the mall and started to shop for clothes.  Yoona looked around and saw that there was a maternity store that sold clothes that would soon fit her in a few months.             “Let’s go the lingerie store across from the maternity store first!” Jessica gagged, “We could get you something that can calm Seunghyun down a bit!”             “Shut up, I would never wear anything like that, especially for him!” Yoona stuck her tongue out.             Jessica was just laughing hysterically at Yoona’s disapproval for the lingerie store as Yoona began to browse through the maternity clothes.  Yoona then heard her laughter come to an abrupt stop.  She looked back at Jessica who looked like she had seen a ghost.  Her face was expressionless and she was silent.  Her eyes were fixed on something—or someone.  Yoona looked out and saw that Seunghyun was holding Hara’s hand as Seunghyun carried all the bags filled with clothes that he had just bought for Hara.             “Come on, let’s go,” Yoona said with hurtfulness.             “No, honey, we’re not going anywhere.  We’re going to stay here and fight,” Jessica ordered.             Jessica grabbed her hand and dragged her to the direction Seunghyun and Hara were walking.  Yoona tried to stop her, but Jessica was so strong willed. Yoona wanted to hide under a shell and just stay there forever.  She didn’t want trouble with them.             “Hey, yo!  You with the slut on your hand!” Jessica yelled in English.             Seunghyun and Goo Hara looked back and were surprised to see Yoona there.  As Jessica and Yoona approached them, Jessica whispered in her ear to be a strong willed woman for once.  Yoona just didn’t know what to do.             “So let me guess, you ditched your wife to be with this woman?” Jessica was angry.             “Hey, leave my boyfriend alone!  He doesn’t even care about this stupid lady!  See, she’s just right there being silent because she has nothing to say!  Look at her:  she’s not even pretty,” Hara snorted.             “Listen, girl, you’re acting like an incompetent bitch right now!  Why the hell are you messing around with a married man?  That man has a wife and they’re both expecting a little one on the way!  Why won’t you just get your gold digging ass out of here and leave?” Jessica said with attitude.             “Jessica, we should leave already,” Yoona pleaded.             Hara looked at Yoona with disgust.  She snorted loudly as she crossed her arms.  Yoona looked at Hara as the woman that Seunghyun was deeply in love with.  Yoona really didn’t want any trouble.             “See, she’s just a gutless woman.  She doesn’t even have the confidence to fight back.  Just because you’re pregnant, it doesn’t mean that I won’t hurt you.  I really think that you got Seunghyun drunk on purpose so that you could get pregnant by him!  You’re just like a prostitute!” Hara spat.             The words kept on echoing in Yoona’s mind.  Be a strong willed woman for once.  Jessica’s words kept on repeating in her mind.  She looked at Hara as Hara crossed her arms.  It was as if she was testing her.  She looked at Jessica who was encouraging her to fight back.  Finally, she looked at Seunghyun.  He just didn’t want to be a part of this scene.  Yoona’s blood began to boil as she erupted with her comeback.             “Listen here, bitch.  You have no right to call me a damned prostitute when you were the one who left Seunghyun to try to get with his best friend.  You’re the one that came running back to him after Taeyang rejected you!  You’re the one that’s making him buy you all this shit on what you call a date!  Unlike you, I have an education and I have principles in life.  You should really just stop talking because you’re a hypocrite!” Yoona shouted.             Hara didn’t have a comeback for that.  She didn’t want to embarrassed, so she thought of the only thing that she could do.  Bam!  She slapped Yoona across the face.  Seunghyun pulled Hara back as Hara tried to hit her again.  It was as if Hara didn’t care that she was pregnant.  Yoona fell to the floor in self agony and held her cheek with her right hand.  She tasted a little bit of blood on the corner of her lips.  Jessica ran up to her to help her up.             Yoona stood up, held her head up high, and held back her tears.  No matter what, Hara didn’t deserve her tears or to see her cry.  She told herself that over and over again.  She just couldn’t cry in front of the two.  She also didn’t plan on hitting her back.  She wasn’t going to stoop down to her level and act as stupid as her.  She managed to pull off a smile as she wiped the blood away with the back of her hand.             “Seunghyun Choi, I’m starting to regret why I even bother to defend you in front of my brothers.  They are right and I should have listened to them.  You’re the most selfish person in the world,” Yoona said as she took her purse on the floor and walked out of the mall with Jessica.             Seunghyun just stood there dumbfounded.  She was right; he was selfish.             Yoona and Jessica walked out of the mall and into the car.  Yoona felt too weak to drive, so Jessica offered to drive.  Yoona looked back at the event that just happened.  She started to cry.  She never said that she couldn’t cry when they were gone.  She put her head down as Jessica started to drive.  Jessica knew that in moments like these, Yoona just needed to think things over, so Jessica offered small, but encouraging advice.             “She may have hit you, but you kicked her ass—with words,” Jessica said.

“Jessica, thank you for being there for me when I need you, but I really don’t want to go back to Seunghyun’s house.  Can you take me to my real home?” Yoona asked as she tried wiping her tears away.             Jessica nodded as she drove her to her home with Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Taeyeon, and Heechul.  Yoona hadn’t seen her house for the longest time.  She missed it and she decided to stay over there for a while.  She waved goodbye to Jessica as Jessica drove off.  Yoona slowly sauntered to the front door as she rung the doorbell.  Within a few seconds, she saw Heechul, Taeyeon, and Eunhyuk standing before her.             “Omo, Yoona, what are you doing here?  I thought you lived with your husband already!” Heechul exclaimed.             “It doesn’t mean that I can’t visit my family, right?” Yoona tried to laugh.             Taeyeon made some hot cocoa for Yoona as she noticed that something was bothering her.  Yoona looked like she was crying heavily and she looked confused.  Taeyeon knew that something had scarred her and that something had happened to her.  Everyone saw the little cut that Hara gave her on the corner of her lip, but no one dared to ask her about it.  Taeyeon scurried Heechul and Eunhyuk out of the living room so that she can have a private talk with Yoona.  The men abided as Taeyeon closed the door to shut them out.  Yoona tried her best to pull off a smile assuring her that everything was okay.             “Yoona, you really need to tell me what happened,” Taeyeon stated.             Yoona sat down in the living room and closed her eyes.  She just needed time to think.             “I don’t want to go back to that house.  We made a deal to not date anyone else while we’re divorced and he didn’t follow it.  I just need space away from him and his crazy, stupid girlfriend,” Yoona sighed.             “Oh no, don’t tell me that you had a throw down with her!” Taeyeon yelled.             “Shh, I didn’t!  She slapped me, but I shushed her up—with my words that is.  What hurt me the most was the fact that Seunghyun didn’t defend me even if he knows that I’m bearing his child.  He would rather side with that slut,” Yoona confessed.             Taeyeon understood Yoona.  She was a newlywed wife and she was developing jealousy.  Taeyeon was like that in the beginning of her marriage when Leeteuk had female business associates that were obviously attracted to Leeteuk.  Taeyeon hid the smile that she wanted to show off.  She knew that the jealousy that she had within herself was signaling her fondness towards him.             “Are you jealous, Yoona?” Taeyeon questioned.             “Unnie, I’m not jealous!  I don’t even care about that man anymore!” Yoona claimed.             Taeyeon cocked an eyebrow, “You don’t care about him anymore?  That means that you did at one point!”             Yoona let out a yell in frustration.  Taeyeon really did know how to get into someone’s head.  Yoona sighed as she heard her phone ringing.  All she knew was that if it was Seunghyun, she was going to ignore it, but it wasn’t.  It was Yuri, but she wasn’t exactly sure if she should answer it.  It could be Seunghyun using Yuri’s phone.             “Should I answer the phone?  It might be Seunghyun,” Yoona asked.             “Hm, answer it,” Taeyeon advised.                Yoona picked up her phone and answered the phone.  She sighed with relief to hear a Yuri’s voice.  Yuri sounded really nervous and worried.             “Yoona, where have you been?  You wouldn’t believe it!  Seunghyun oppa—,” Yuri was interrupted.             “Don’t mention his name.  He’s just been irritating me the whole day!  I’ve been only gone for a few hours and I bet he’s going crazy on where I am.  Ugh, I just need space for myself!” Yoona shouted.             “Yoona, you should really go home,” Yuri counseled.             Yoona sighed, “Why should I go back to a house where a man doesn’t appreciate me?”

There was a long silence between the two of them.  Yuri’s voice finally broke the silence as Yoona listened carefully at her.             “He collapsed earlier with exhaustion.  He’s resting at home right now and no one is taking care of him,” Yuri announced.             Yoona wasn’t surprised, but she had to admit she was concerned.  He had been working 24/7 nonstop and on top of that, he had to spend an exhausting day with Hara.  He carried around what he bought her and walked around the malls following her on where she wanted to go.  Yoona grunted with frustration.  She hated that men were so weak to certain women.             As Yoona was getting ready to leave her house, Leeteuk walked in the door from work.  Leeteuk looked skeptical as he saw that Yoona had a small cut on her face.  He began to question what had happened to her and automatically assumed for the worst.             “I’m going to kill Choi!  Did he slap you?” he raised his voice.             “No, he didn’t!  His girlfriend actually did!” Yoona assured him.             Leeteuk looked at her with disbelief.  He had a girlfriend while he was already married?  He roared in frustration as he saw that Yoona was pregnant and was already physically hit.             “Where are you going?!” he asked.             “I’m going back to his house to take care of him because he’s sick,” Yoona explained.             Yoona said her goodbyes to her family as Leeteuk began to look at her with even more confusion.  He was just amazed that Yoona was coming back to him even though he had just hurt her emotionally.  He was about to stop Yoona until Taeyeon held him back.  Yoona closed the door and left the mansion as Leeteuk saw that Taeyeon smiled to herself.             “Leeteuk, dear, I think she’s in love.  This is great,” Taeyeon sang.             Yoona came back to the Choi mansion and saw that Yuri was the only one in the living room.  She stood up as she saw Yoona walk in the door.  Yuri ran up to her and hugged her.  Yoona was holding a white envelop in her hand that read:  Choi Yuri.  Yoona claimed that she found it in the front door and gave it to Yuri.  Yuri opened it and began to read the letter.             “I think I’m going to go into my room to read this letter,” Yuri said as Yoona nodded.             Yoona was all alone in the living room and decided that she should go upstairs and see how Seunghyun was doing.  She slowly walked upstairs and saw through the open door that Seunghyun was laying down on the bed as if he was in pain.  Yoona peeked through the door and Seunghyun looked shock to see her.  She let out a laugh as she saw his amazement in her presence.  She sat down next to the bed and saw that he was weak.             “Yah, what happened to you?” Yoona asked.             “Well, I’m sick.  I hope this brings you some satisfaction,” he replied.             Yoona shook her head with disbelief.  He really thought that it made her happy to see him in pain.  She sighed as she got up and put her hand against his forehead.  He was a little surprised at her actions.  He didn’t expect her to take care of him.  Yoona then left without a word and returned a few minutes later with some hot soup.  He sat up as she began to feed him after she cooled the hot liquid on the spoon by gently blowing on it.  After he was done eating, he began to wonder.             “Why are you here?” he spoke up.             “I’m here because I’m your wife.  Are you surprised?  I bet you are because I probably care about you more than your girlfriend,” she told him.             “Don’t talk about her like that,” he softly said.             “I’m pointing out the facts.  I bet you the moment that you collapsed, you didn’t even see her because she hates caring about other people more than herself.  If she really loved you, she would have been here taking care of you instead of me,” Yoona pointed out.             Seunghyun really couldn’t say anything.  He knew that Hara didn’t want to take accepted that fact a long time ago.  He sighed as Yoona took out some medicine from a cabinet and gave it to him.  She then ordered him to stay in bed and to not attend work tomorrow.             “Are you angry at me for what happened earlier this afternoon?” Seunghyun finally asked.             “I’m furious.  I’m so infuriated about how your girlfriend is so disrespectful and inconsiderate,” Yoona gritted her teeth honestly, “but you’re my husband and I need to get over everything.  I should be angry that you broke the rule about dating other people during this one year negotiation, but I really don’t need this.  You can do whatever you want; just make sure that woman never touches me again or I’ll fight back.”             Seunghyun was taken aback by her calm nature.  She had a poker face on and he couldn’t tell if she really was angry or anything.  She looked at him as she made her way out of the room.             “You’re ill and I think it’s better if you sleep alone.  I’m going to sleep in Yuri’s room tonight,” Yoona told him as he nodded.             Yoona shut the door and made her way to Yuri’s room.  She knocked on Yuri’s door and opened it to see that Yuri was listening to her iPod.  She turned it off after seeing Yoona as she beckoned for Yoona to enter the room.  Yuri put her iPod away and looked at Yoona with curiosity.  The little cut on Yoona’s face sparked her lots of interest.             “What the hell happened to that thing on your face?” Yuri asked.             Yoona shrugged, “Goo Hara happened.”             “Ugh, I swear that woman’s making me go crazy!  What the hell does oppa see in her?!  She’s obviously only there for his money.  It’s just so annoying that he’s like a blind man when it comes to her.  She really pisses me off!  She really has the nerve to hit a pregnant woman?!  That woman really has no class!” Yuri ranted.             “It’s okay, Yuri,” Yoona said.             “No, it’s not okay!  You’re pregnant and she hit you!  We should sue her or something,” Yuri suggested.             “If you sued her, your brother would have gone crazy.  I don’t want the trouble anyways.  I’m getting kind of sleepy.  Can I sleep here since Seunghyun is sick?” Yoona yawned.             “Sure, of course.  You need sleep for tomorrow.   Jiyoung’s girlfriend is coming over tomorrow.  Jiyoung is pretty excited since he hadn’t seen his girlfriend for a while now because of work.  Jiyoung’s girlfriend suggested that you and Seunghyun have a double date with the two of them,” Yuri informed her.             “Seunghyun is sick, though,” Yoona contradicted.             “Yeah, but you can always have a date inside the house.  I think you guys are having dinner and a movie here in the house.  We have a theater in the second floor, so everything’s good.  And plus Daesung, Seungri, and I are going to be gone to fill in for Jiyoung and Seunghyun tomorrow,” Yuri smiled.             “Great,” Yoona smiled sarcastically.             The next morning, Yoona walked into the master bedroom that she and Seunghyun shared.  She was still groggily rubbing her eyes as she made her way to the bedroom.  She twisted the doorknob and hoped to see Seunghyun sleeping so that he could recover faster.  She saw Seunghyun trying to put his workpants on.  His pants were about mid thigh up as he saw that Yoona had walked in.  Yoona was in disbelief.             “What are you trying to do?!  Are you getting ready for work!?  You’re supposed to be resting!” Yoona yelled.             “I’m all better!  Really!  I can go to work already!” he claimed.             Yoona ran to him and surprisingly knocked him down.  He lost his balance because of the position he was in and was knocked down to the floor.  Yoona was a little shocked herself.  She didn’t know that she was strong enough to actually knock him down.             “I swear you have the strength of a man,” he laughed.             “That’s why they call me Him Yoona,” Yoona smiled.             Yoona felt his forehead and it signaled that he was fully healthy.  Yoona really didn’t expect him to heal so quickly but she remembered to never underestimate the Choi’s healing powers.  One time in middle school, there was a field trip to a beach for school and Yuri was sick two days before the trip with a high fever.  She healed in no time and was able to attend the trip as if she was never sick.             “You’re all better,” Yoona announced.             “Okay, so that means that I can go to work.”             “No, you’re not.  Jiyoung asked me earlier to go on a double date with his girlfriend, Sandara.  We originally planned to have a date inside the house since you were sick, but luck is on our side and made you better by then.  I think we’re going go out and eat,” Yoona said as she walked to the closet and began to pick out what she was going to wear.
