His Name (1/1)

Just a head's up, the POV in this chapter is of the girl who was bitten by the vampire, 'kay? ;)____________________________________________ Excruciating pain claimed my body as if acid was coursing through my veins. Fire rippled through my muscles, my every cell burning to its demise. Electric shocks seemingly surged through every inch of my skin, giving it a sharp, tingling sensation. I looked around for something to hold onto, to anchor myself to sanity; but only an endless stretch of black greeted me. A distant thought knocked on a locked door at the back of my mind, but I was overcome by too much pain to even fully acknowledge its presence. What was happening to me...? If this was death, I hoped that it would claim me quickly instead of leaving me to suffer like so.Vague pictures flashed in front of my eyes. Another pair of eyes following me relentlessly, observing my every move; a dark, quiet forest, erect under the full moon; the feeling of horribly sharp fangs buried into my neck; the sound of my blood rushing down his throat... His throat... Who was he...? The thought prodded at the back of my mind again, but was washed away by another wave of fire engulfing my body. I endured it and thought back to what had happened...I had woken up in the middle of the forest at night, aching all over as if I had been running all day. I didn't remember anything, but a strange feeling had quickly overcome me: the feeling that I was being watched. In response, I did the only thing that I could at the time: I ran, again. However, before I could get very far, something had sprung out of the trees and seized me from behind. I had panicked, screamed, struggled... Nothing had worked; I had been held in a vice grip. A deep, alluring voice had spoken into my ear. I had then realized that whoever had me captive wasn't human; he had been colder than ice...Colder than death itself...It was the last thing I felt before he tore into my neck, thirsty for my blood... So this was it... He had pierced my neck and emptied my vessels of the scarlet, life-granting fluid. This, was death... I finally relaxed, waiting for my soul to depart from my body. All the doors in my mind unlocked as I succumbed to my fate. The persistent thought exploded into my head, finally having been given the chance to announce its presence, forming into two words like fireworks on New Year's Day as light flooded the darkness around me.Kim Myungsoo... My eyes took a while to adjust to the harsh brightness, but when they did, what I saw shocked me; however, it was nothing compared to the sharp, flaming pain engulfing my parched throat. I looked around for water and eventually found a small creek after some wandering around. It sat like a sparkling, clear snake amongst the green undergrowth and iridescent stones that lined its path. I drank and drank, but the cool water did nothing for my agonizing thirst.A rustle caught my attention and somehow, I knew it came from the bushes to my left. I saw a tiny patch of brown among the leaves and smelt a sweet, decadent aroma that made my stomach scream and set my throat on fire. Instinct immediately took control of my body and made it move on its own, knowing what it wanted and what it had to do to get it. Before I even knew what had happened, I was haunched over the neck of a dead deer, its throat torn open and its rich, precious blood smeared all over me. The worst part of all was that the red fluid of the animal was quenching my undying thirst.Kim...Realizing what I had done, I dropped the carcass like a hot iron and backed away in horror. I looked at my hands. They were pale, slender, and delicate-looking, marred only by the vast amount of blood dripping from them like leaking faucets. I glanced down at the rest of my body, only to see my entire front drowning in scarlet. I put a hand to my mouth and my eyes widened as my fingers traced over something unusual.No...I rushed back over to the creek and peered over the surface of the shining water. I waited until I could get a clear reflection of myself; what stared back at me confirmed my fears. A beautiful creature with eyes blacker than night, skin pale as the moon, and concealed fangs protruding from its gums from which the fresh blood of its latest victim clung....Myung...No...I looked around frantically and then back to the water, but the same face greeted me... My face... This wasn't real... I was a normal person... I was not a monster... I was not a monster... I looked at my hands again and sank into hopeless misery, tears streaming from my eyes. I looked into the water again. Two rivers of scarlet ran down my face; even my tears were bloody... I washed all the red from my face and hands, hoping to rinse away this nightmare, and looked at my reflection once more. Black eyes, pale skin, and two fangs gazed back at me once more, even more prominent than the last time.I was a monster...A bloodthirsty monster... Why...? Why did this happen to me...? I am just a normal girl...at least, I used to be. I looked around again, finally able to recognize my new abilities. My eyesight was sharper, able to pick up even the patterns on the tree leaves from my distance; I could smell and sense where the animals of the forest were and hear where they resided. Was this really the lifestyle of a vampire? I thought back to the night I was bitten....soo... I could still feel the fear that clutched at my heart as I fled through the forest. I could still feel the iron grip the vampire had on me as he spoke to me. I could still feel the touch of his fangs and hear him drinking from my neck. He had been the one that changed me; he had been the one that turned me into a monster like himself. Anger surged through my now cold veins, overtaking any sorrow or frustration I felt. On the surface of the water, I could see my eyes slowly turning blood red and my lips curling back to reveal my hidden weapons. The two words pounded in my head like booming thunder in the midst of a storm. I realized that it was a name... the name of the creature that took my life away from me...Kim Myungsoo..._____________________________Can you imagine Myungsoo as a vampire? 0.o ... drools... *dies and goes to Heaven from HOTNESS OVERLOAD!!!!!!* ... I can't believe I just said that... OAO But it's true... >////////////////////////////////////////<*Note, do NOT drink water straight out of a creek in some random forest XD HahaYay! First chapter updated! I'm actually really excited about this story, but I still need to figure out what will happen and where the plot will go.
