The List xvifeel 74190K 2023-11-02

It's only their second day at camp, and yet Yujin's head is filled with a lot of thoughts. One half of her brain is thinking about soccer and practice, while the other half is thinking about what activities they'll be doing at camp today. But to tell you honestly, it's neither of the two. You see, Yoo Yujin's only been thinking about two things lately. Chou Minju, and that damn list. Yes, the list. She still remembers that list. Yujin's relationship with Minju has shifted from two people who keeps bickering, to two people still bickering, but now with their hands intertwined. And if you would ask Yujin if she's okay with that sudden change? Then her answer will be a big Yes.  They've been acting pretty much like a couple lately. Heck! They even look more of a couple than Yena and Yuri. Yujin thinks that somehow, somehow she has a chance at scoring her goal.  But then again there's the list. That list that determines it all. The one list that seemingly decides everything. However, since Yujin is persistent and stubborn, she will not stick to that list. She will do this on her own, in the way that she knows. Because Yoo Yujin, accepts the challenge.  Right now, currently, the whole class 3-A and class 3-B are in the beach, doing their first activity after lunch. Yujin, being very much aware of how competitive she is when it comes to games like this, tried to calm down and not show the competitive side of her. She just wants to enjoy their game with the rest of the class. "Okay! We need one representative per team please." Ms. Park announces. "Nako, you go." Minju pushed Nako in front and the shorter faced her, "Hey! Why do you guys keep making me volunteer in these kinds of stuff? I feel bullied." she sulked. "What do you mean "Always"? I did it last time because none of you wanted to do it." Yujin countered. "Well I'm not doing it, I did it the first time." "Well I'm not doing it too. I did it before this." The two went on to argue about who's going be their group's representative when Nako suddenly got an "Aha!" moment. "I know!" Nako exclaimed and pointed her friend, "You, Chou Minju, will be our group's representative." "Are you sure about that Nako-ya? What if we lose?" "Yeah, are you really sure about that." Yujin agreed and Minju threw her a glare, "Hey!" "What?" Yujin asks, "I just agreed with you." "Nonsense, you'll do well, Minju." Nako reasurred her. "Will she though?" there goes Yoo Yujin again with her endless teasing. "I swear to God Yoo Yujin I am gonna push you in the water." "I was just kidding!" she chuckled, "Of course you can do it. We'll be cheering you on." Yujin gave her a warm smile, making Minju smile back. I get it you two. No need to act like I'm not here. Nako internally rolled her eyes, "Minju go up front if you're sure that you want to do it." "Okay." she sighs, "But you guys better not blame me when we lose." It turns out, Minju was worrying for nothing, they actually won. Out of pure happiness, Yujin suddenly carried Minju and spun her around. The moment she brought Minju back to the ground, only then did she realized what she did. Yujin's ear was visibly blushing while Minju just looked at her feet, not wanting everyone to see her blushing face. Everyone was just staring at them and wasn't uttering a single word, making it the two even more shy. Thankfully, the atmosphere cleared up when Nako squealed and did a group hug with Yujin and Minju. "Omo! Minju-ya! You did amazing!" the rest just shrugged and went back to their own business. Yuri and Tomi just sent a knowing smile towards their way, which Yujin and Minju failed to notice. I just saved you guys out there. "Kids, on to our next activity for this afternoon." both classes followed their homeroom teachers, anticipating their next activity. Nako walked walked with Yuri and Tomi in front and Yujin and Minju tried to be subtle while walking with each other. "That was a close one." Minju muttered, enough for Yujin to hear. "I'm sorry." the taller chuckles, "I got carried away." Minju lets out a chuckle, "I could tell." and Yujin ended up pouting to herself. When they reached the destination for their game, it was a group participatio so Nako and Yujin didn't argue anymore about who's doing who. The whole afternoon went like that, everyone playing games and different activities organized by the teachers, enjoying their time together. When night time came, they all decided to do a bonfire near the beach, with the teacher's approval of course. Sadly though, only Ms. Park could attend to them since Mrs. Kang had a sudden seminar to attend online. They all gathered and mingled with each other since Ms. Park said they should interact more. And so they did. Minju went to interact with her co-members in the theater club that were from the other class, sharing their thoughts about the upcoming callbacks. While Yujin was out here talking with Yuna and Gaeul about just the most random stuff ever. "So Yoo, when are you going to do it?" Yuna asked her friend. "What do you mean when am I going to do it? Do what?" "Shoot your shot, what else?" Yuna rolled her eyes. "Dude I'm a soccer player, I don't shoot."  "Well then, score your goal!" "I.." she briefly looks at Minju who was happily talking with Ryujin, the Director of their play, "I don't know yet." she smiled after, "But I will, one of these days." "Well you should, before she finds somebody that fits that list." Yuna reminded. "And you had to remind me." she sighs. "Hold up, how do you know about the list?" she asks her friend in question. "Everyone knows about THE LIST. It's the reason why there are less people trying to pursue her and the rest is just devastated because they have no chance." "Those poor souls." Gaeul commented. "I might be one of those poor souls." "Cheer up, Yujin!" Yuna cheers her friend up, "You can somehow do that. You're Yoo Yujin, you don't just give up on a challenge." "Right..." "I gotta go you guys, I need to find Chaeryeong." Yujin and Gaeul talked and laughed at things, most probably oblivious of everyone's attention that was now on them. "They look good together." one student that's sitting near Minju pointed out. "Yeah." the other agreed. "I heard they've known each other for 4 years already. Yujin and Gaeul were classmates back in Middle School." "Oh, that must be why they're so close then?" "I guess so." the two looked at Yujin and Gaeul who was laughing at something that the other said, Gaeul slightly leaning to Yujin while they were both laughing. "I wouldn't be that surprised if they announced that they're together." Minju just smiled to herself and payed attention to what Ryujin was saying again. She doesn't need to worry. Yes. She doesn't. Why would she? It's not like Yujin likes her. And besides, they're just probably friends. Minju also knows that their schoolmates/classmates literally ship Yujin with just about anyone. Anyone but her. "Hey, your girl was looking at our direction just now. And her face doesn't look that pleased at all." Gaeul stated. "Should I move away from you? I don't want to give her the wrong idea." "That's nonsense. And no, she won't. She knows that we're close." "Well I guess you're that lucky then, to have someone like her I mean." Yujin smiles. "Of course I am." "Better score that goal soon." Gaeul reminded. - All throughout the bonfire, Yujin thought of nothing else besides what her friends said. Score my goal. Her thoughts got interrupted when Ms. Park announced something. "Class, I regret to announce this but Mrs. Kang just messaged me and told me I needed to join the seminar. Is it okay if I leave you guys here? You guys can take care of yourselves right?" "Yes." "Okay. I'll leaving Ryujin to be in charge of Class B and Nako will be in charge of Class A. Call us whenever something happens okay? And make sure none of you wander around too much." both classes agreed and Ms. Park took her leave. Suddenly, one of the students from Class B suggested that they should do a game to enjoy the night more. "Sure. What game?" another student from Class A asked. "Let's play Ask Away."  "What's that game?" Nako asked. "So basically the mechanics of the game is like this, who ever gets pointed by the bottle, will be the one to answer the question and the one holding will be the one to question. It's basically like spin the bottle truth or dare." the student continued,  "If you fail to answer the question, you have to put a whole marshmallow on your mouth and the person that questioned you will draw something on your face using a marker. And, one question per person only." "Seems about alright to me." Yuna nods and the others soon followed. "Nako, Ryujin, is it okay?"  Both smiled and nodded, "Of course, it'll be fun." They started forming a circle and settled on their seats as Nako starts to spin the bottle. When it did, it landed on Yuri. "Oho~ Jjoyul~" Nako teased. "You better ask decent questions, Nabuki Yako." Yuri warned her friend. "Hey, hey, I'm decent." she raised both her hands up in defense, "And for the last time, it's YABUKI NAKO." Yuri just rolled her eyes at this. "Okay my question for you is, Jo Yuri, when are you gonna say yes to Yena unnie?" The class started squealing, making Yuri blush. "S-Someday." Yujin laughed, "I'll surely tell Yena about this." The game went on until the bottle was pointed at Yujin, and like destiny was playing games at her without her even knowing, Hitomi was the one spinning it. "Yoo Yujin, what a pleasant surprise."  Hitomi said with a smirk. "Yeah. Fire away, Honda-ssi." Yujin calmly said. "I see you're excited~" Tomi giggled, "Yujin-ah my question for you is, do you currently have someone you like? In our class?" the whole Class A starts teasing her as they were waiting for her answer. "Uhm.." Yujin looked everywhere except for Minju's direction. "Come on, Yoo! Tell us!" Yuna urged and Yujin quickly sent her a glare. "Tell us. Tell us. Tell us." they chanted, leaving Yujin no choice but to tell. "Okay, uhm, yeah...I do have someone I like in this class." she answered with her ears blushing."Omo! Look! She's blushing." Yuna just really won't stop teasing her. "Yoo-ssi, do tell." and there goes Tomi. "Who is this lucky person you're crushing on?" "Hey! I thought it was one question per person only!"  "Oof, okay. To whoever's gonna question Yujin next, make sure to ask that." Hitomi reminded. "But honestly Yujin-ah, I think we've kinda took the hint already." Shoot. Does she know something? She took a quick glance at Minju who was also looking at her but immediately looked away when her eyes met Yujin.  "Omg! Yes! She must've thought we wouldn't notice." Winter agreed. "It's Gaeul, isn't it?" one student said making Yujin raised her brow. "What?" she aksed in shock. "The person you like, it's Gaeul."  Yuna, Yujin and Gaeul looked at each other in burst into laughters while Hitomi, Yuri and Nako spare Minju a quick glance. "You guys sure are funny." Yujin said the moment she recovered from laughing. "What? What's funny? Is it not true?" "Me? I like her?" she pointed at Gaeul and laughed out loud again when the class nodded, "Goodness you guys are funny." "I-we- we thought you guys liked each other? Your interaction earlier says otherwise." "Pfft. No. Me, Yuna, and Gaeul are like buddies. We've known each other since middle school since we were in the same class." "So you guys aren't together?" they clarified which the two answered with a nod, "Nope." "Then where do you go every free period?" Nako asked suspiciously. "Uhm...that I can't answer. And besides, you've asked tons of questions already!" "Okay~ Maybe next time." This game might really make me reveal something between me and Minju.  The game continued until it was Minju's turn and Yuri was the who was questioning her since everyone else was done. "Minju-ssi." "Yes, Yuri-ssi?" Yuri snickered and focused on her. "I've ran out of questions so I'll just ask a similar question that Tomi asked Yujin." everyone kept quiet as they were waiting for Minju to continue, "Chou Minju-ssi, did you finally found someone that fits your list?" Yuri asked and I saw her glancing at me with a teasing smirk. Okay now I'm about 80% sure that they know something. I better talk to Minju about this. Minju smiled rather proudly before answering with a confident, "Yes." The whole class went wild because at last, someone has finally fit THE LIST. Chou Minju's List. And Yujin wished it was her though she knows that's impossible. (Or is it.) That's it, I'll do it. I'll take my chance. I'll score my goal. - It was almost time for bed and Yujin hasn't got a sight of Minju ever since the game ended. The taller went to the beach, hoping to see Minju there. Thankfully, she was there, at the beach side, adoring the sound of the waves and the stars shining brightly above. "Hey, Min. What are you doing out here?" I asked as I sat down beside her. "Oh nothing, just needed a breath of fresh air I guess." It was silent before Yujin decided to talk. "Min, have you noticed the three of them earlier? Hitomi, Nako ans Yuri I mean." This caught Minju's attention as she faced the taller, "Why? What's with them?" "I don't know. It's just that, I felt like their questions were a little bit off. Like they're trying to tell that they know something about us." "Yeah, I've noticed it too." she says, "But don't worry much about it, those three can never stay silent about something like that so if they knew something, they'd eventually start pestering and teasing me about it. Trust me, they don't." "Okay.." Yujin trailed off. "But should we tell them? All of our friends?" "Didn't we talk about this already?" "Min they'll eventually find out sooner or later. And plus, I don't want to keep holding your hand in secret. I want to be able to have these moments with you even if they're there. I want to let them know that-" "Let them know that what, Yujin?" Minju's voice was fu of seriousness while asking and it honestly shocked Yujin. "Why do you want to do that in the first place?" Yujin was too stunned to speak, "Yujin what are we?" "Min..I- we're-" she stammered. "Yujin-ah tell me, because I've ran out of words to describe what kind of relationship we have. Don't get me wrong, I'm not impatient. It's just, when you said you already had someone you liked it kinda urked me. Knowing it's not me. I hate it. I hate this feeling." What? "Why, Minju? Do you want it to be you?" "Yes, Yujin! Yes I do! Gosh you're so dense! I can't believe I like yo-" "You like me?" Yujin clarified, trying to fight a smile but eventually gave in when Minju gasped and placed a hand on her mouth when she had realized what she said. "Huh? I didn't say that. What I meant was-" Minju was cut off when Yujin started grinning at her explaining. "You like me." she said with a teasing grin. "You like me. Chou Minju likes me. I'm flattered."  Annoyed from all the teasing, Minju knew she had enough. "Okay! I like you, so what? Big deal! It's not like you like me!" Yujin laughed out loud at frustrated Minju, irritating the shorter woman more. "You like someone that's not me and now you're laughing at my miserable state? Yoo Yujin have you no heart?"  Yujin continued laughing at her but stopped when the latter sent her a look of warning, like anytime Minju's gonna push her on the water if she still won't stop. "Fine. Fine. I'll stop." she giggled. "But Min, really, it's not what you think." "What is it then? At first I thought it was Gaeul but then it's not. So tell me, Yoo Yujin, who is it? Do you have someone else to spend free period with now?" "Hey! You're one to talk!" she complained, "You said you've found someone who fits your list now. Are you gonna stopping seeing me?" she asked dramatically. Minju rolled her eyes at Yujin's dramatic state, "Oh please, when did I ever start "seeing" you?" "You know what I mean!"  "You're being silly over a list, Yudings." "But it's not just a list. I know how much it means to you." Minju shakes her head at the response, "Well yeah, maybe before it did. But trust me, it means nothing now. I've actually forgotten about that list lately." "But still. I at least wanted to fit that list before telling you this. But after you said that someone already did fit that list, the first thing I did was to wish it was me. Then I couldn't help it, I wanted to tell you now." "Wait...if I'm not malfunctioning enough, does that mean-" "Yes, Chou  Minju-ssi. I like you. Heck I like you so much. I know you said you like me too but I'm not gonna give up just yet. I'll take a challenge. So tell that person who fits your list that they have competition. Because I, Yoo Yujin, will do my best to fit that list in all ways possible." Minju's face softened and gently cupped Yujin's face, "Yujin, you don't have to. You don't have to prove a point here. You know it'll always be you." "Minju, although I appreciate the fact that you're making my heart flutter like nuts right now, I still want to. I want to show you how serious I am about this. So please, Minju-ah... Give me a chance to score my goal."  Hello! How are you doing everyone?
