the list: the one where t (1/1)
So far, Minju and Yujin's preparations for their performance have been going well. They were both able to manage both their time well. Right now, currently, it's a Saturday and both of them are stuck in Yujin's room, practicing for their performance that's gonna happen in three days. Yujin was strumming the chords while Minju was singing her heart out to the song, bopping her head in the process. While she was doing that, she ended up bumping her head lightly on the back of Yujin's gaming chair where she's now currently sitting on. "Ouch." she mumbled and touched her head to ease the pain. Yujin stopped strumming her guitar and faced Minju, laughing at her. Minju sent her a glare, "Haha very funny." "That's the second time today." Yujin said, still laughing. Yes, that's right, the same thing happened earlier. "Hey! Stop laughing! It hurts you know!" Minju exclaimed in hopes that Yujin would stop laughing at her unfortunate state. But guess what? The taller one was still laughing at her. Minju who was now annoyed, took a pillow from the bed and threw it to Yujin's face. "Hey! That hurts!" Yujin said as soon as the pillow landed on her face. "Woopsies." Minju chuckled. They went back to practicing and it lasted until afternoon when they decided to take a break. Yujin went downstairs to grab some snacks for both of them. When she came back, she found Minju already sprawled on her bed, sleeping peacefully. Yujin chuckled at the sight and shook her head, "Sleepyhead." She placed the snacks on her study table and sat on the gaming chair that Minju had sat on earlier. She opened her laptop and played for a bit, waiting for Minju to wake up. It's been minutes and Minju's still asleep. Still needing to practice, Yujin decided to wake Minju up. "Hey, Minju, wake up. We need to go back to practicing." Minju stirred a bit. "Come on, Minju." Still no sign of waking up. "Minju-ah." she softly said and went beside her. "Minju-ah wake up. After this practice I'll take you home." Yup, still sleeping. "Min-" Yujin stopped when Minju suddenly lopped her arms around her neck, "Just a moment please. I'm really sleepy." she whined. "A-Ah..u-uhm..o-okay" Yujin became a stuttering. Yujin was struggling since Minju's arms were still lopped around her neck. Her breath hitched at the almost close proximity the both of them have. When Minju was back in deep sleep, Yujin took Minju's hands off from her neck and carefully placed them on the pillow beside her. She took the blanket and placed it on Minju's sleeping figure in case she gets cold. "She must be really sleelpy." she said as she looked at Minju one more time with a smile and carefully settled herself in the chair, slowly closing her eyes as well. Minju woke up only to find her surroundings dark. She slowly made her way out of the bed and walked towards the switch to turn the lights on. When the lights were on, she slowly roamed her sight around the whole room and found Yoo Yujin sleeping soundly on the gaming chair. She smiled at the sight and walked towards her, the same smile still evident on her lips. "What a baby." she chuckled. Yujin's eyebrows were slightly furrowed and her lips were pouting as well. Unconsciously, Minju ended up staring at her for way too long and didn't even noticed that Yujin had already woken up. "Having fun staring at me, Ms. Chou?" Minju jumped a bit when she heard Yujin's voice and almost landed on the floor but Yujin quickly held her hand. So now, Chou Minju finds herself sitting on Yoo Yujin's lap. Cheeks flushed and heart beating fast. Their faces were close to each other. Too close. And if you ask Minju, the way Yujin was looking at her really didn't do anything to put her heartbeat back on it's normal pace. Their faces were slowly getting even closer. Minju closed her eyes shut, not knowing what to do anymore. She was panicking inside. Thankfully, Minju seemingly calmed down when they heard Nayeon's from outside Yujin's room. "Kids? You doing good there? Minju, Hyewon's her to fetch you. You girls eat dinner with us first before going home." "A-Ah, y-yes Aunt Nayeon." she stuttered. "Okay. You kids come down now so we can eat." "Yes Mom, we'll be down in a bit." they heard footsteps fading towards the stairs, indicating that Nayeon left already. Minju looked at Yujin first and found Yujin already looking at her. They both cleared their throats and Minju frantically stood up from Yujin's lap. "I-uh..we should go down now." Minju said, avoiding Yujin's gaze. "I- uh- yeah, we should." They both head downstairs, acting like nothing happened at all. Of course Hyewon noticed the tension between them but chose to kept quiet. They ended dinner and the Chou siblings left after they bid bye to the Yoos. On their way home, Minju can't help but think about what happened earlier. And everytime she does, she always ends up blushing. Hyewon would always end up looking at her sister weirdly every time she does. Minju's not the gonna lie, her heart flutters every time she remembers it. But quickly dismisses the idea of it. "No, Minju. Get a hold of yourself." is what she repeatedly tells herself.
