"Minju-ya! Dinner's ready!" she stopped studying and went out of her room. She proceeded to the dining room and saw that she was the only one who w asn't present there. She settles herself comfortably in her chair as they start eating. "So, you're going back to school tomorrow huh? Both of you better sleep early, especially you Hyewon" their Mom said as they were halfway finish to eating dinner, "Sure Mom" The family had just finished eating dinner and their parents told them to go their rooms and let them clean up. Minju was now reading a book while leaning on her bed's headrest when she hears a knock, "Come in" Hyewon enters and sits on the end of her bed, "Hey Min, is it okay if we pick up Eunbi on our way to school?" "Sure! I missed unnie. You hadn't been taking her here in the house lately" "That's because when we're here, you two end up talking for hours" she rolls her eyes as a response. "Well that's all, I'll go now" she nods and brings her attention back to the book she was reading. She noticed that it was getting late already so she keeps her book and is getting ready to sleep. They need to wake up early tomorrow. Well at least one of them should. "Unnie! Unnie! Yah Hyewon unnie wake up!" a now neatly dressed Minju kept banging her sister's bedroom door to get her to wake up. "Unnie I swear if you won't wake up now I'm gonna call Mom to wake you up hersel-" the door suddenly opened as she was about to knock again, revealing a half asleep Hyewon. "Gosh Minju, what is the matter with you? It's still so early in the morning and the first thing I hear when I wake up is your loud voice" "Well if you only had woken up early, then I wouldn't be this loud trying to wake you up" the two sisters were bickering when their Mama suddenly walked by from their room and saw them, "What are you guys doing?" "Mama, Minju's being too loud early in the morning," "Mama, unnie woke up late" they both whined at the same time, making Tzuyu shake her head at her two daughters. "Hep hep. Minju go downstairs, we're about to eat breakfast. Hyewon, get ready and follow afterwards okay? And please, stop shouting you two, it's way too early for that" "Okay" Minju went down with her mother and the three started eating breakfast. Hyewon followed after she finished getting ready. And yes, it doesn't take her that long to get ready. As the family was done eating, the two sisters bid goodbye to their parents as they were off to school, "Goodbye! Take care you two. Hyewon don't drive too fast" "I won't Mom!" she says as she was closing the door to their house and making her way to the car. Minju opened the door to the backseat as Hyewon was getting in. "Why are you sitting at the back? The shotgun seat is available" "Let Eunbi unnie sit there" Hyewon nods. They arrived at the Kwon's residence and saw Eunbi already waiting outside. Eunbi saw their car approaching and stopped in front of her. Hyewon went out and opened the door for Eunbi. "Good morning unnie!" Minju exclaimed after seeing the older, "Good morning Min" "How come she gets a decent good morning? I got a loud shout for a good morning" Hyewon, who just got back said. "It's not my fault you wouldn't wake up the first time I knocked" Eunbi faced Hyewon with a questioning look, "You slept late again did you?" Hyewon thought there was no point in lying, "Y-Yeah" "Did you play with your console again?" Hyewon nods "It was just for a while though" "Oho! Mom is so gonna confiscate your console!" Minju lets out a teasing chuckle, "YAH! YOU WOULDN'T DARE" Hyewon glared at her, "Try me" Hyewon was about to say another word but Eunbi interrupted her. "Oops that's enough you guys, we need to go to school remember?" Hyewon relaxes and faces Minju, "You're lucky Eunbi's here" and then starts taking off, on their way to school. "Yeah, let's just say you're that whipped" Eunbi and Minju chuckles while Hyewon just rolls her eyes. They arrived at school with much time to spare before their class starts. Minju decided to go and check the bulletin board for any new announcements but found none. Well, she found none related to her club. She heads to her classroom and sees her friends talking. "Good morning you guys" she greets them as she enters the room, "Good morning Minju!" She sets her bag down and joins their conversation. "Have you heard? The football team is going against West High for the finals" Jo Yuri tells them, "Woah! Really?" Nako asks in shock. "Yeah really! They even went to a special practice camp for a week" "Wait wait wait, how come you know all these stuff? I thought you weren't interested on those cocky football players" Hitomi faces Minju, "No offense to your sister Min" Minju just shrugged. "Tell us Jo Yuri, are you hiding anything from us?" the three looked at Yuri sharply, trying to get the truth out of her. "Okay okay. I may or may not be dating Choi Yena from the football team" there were loud gasped heard from the room coming from the three friends. "You what?! Omg I can't believe it" "Why? Is there something wrong with Yena?" "Well if being too cocky and loud is considered as something wrong then yeah" Minju answered, "Turns out she's not that cocky at all. And plus, she's really sweet and fun to be with once you get to know her" Minju scoffs at Yuri's defense. "As always, Chou Minju is yet again bitter" the three of them laugh while Minju frowns, "Hey! Am not! I just haven't found the right person yet" "That's because you keep sticking with your list. Seriously, such things only exist in movies and fairytales" Hitomi said as a matter of fact. "Yeah. Let loose Min. Who knows maybe you'll find someone in the football team also" Nako enthusiastically said but it Minju just hates the idea too much. "Yeah no thanks. I already have a football player for a sister, I don't think I can handle dating one also" "Why? Do you have some sort of issue with soccer players, Ms. Chou?" a familiar irritating voice asked. "Yes. Yes, I do in fact. Why? What are you gonna do about i-" she turns around to face that person. But when she did, the owner of the voice already faced her, their faces having a very close proximity. Minju unconsciously sweats, "You seem to be sweating, Ms. Chou. Why? Cant handle being this close to me?" the said soccer player raises her eyebrow and gives her a very teasing grin, making her blood boil. "You wish!" she turns around, making the soccer player laugh out loud. The said soccer player was about to utter another word to annoy Minju more but got stopped when someone called her. "Yujin!" one of their classmates called out, making Yujin pat her head and walked to where Winter, their classmate was. After Yujin left, Minju fixes her hair which was destroyed by Yujin earlier and irritatingly groans. "See what I mean? Soccer players are the worst" she tells her friends and they just chuckle at her. The bell rings and everyone starts to settle down on their own seats. "Lovely morning everyone" their first period teacher, Mrs. Kang greeted them. "So, how was your holidays? Anything interesting happened?" The classroom is now filled with chatters as the students discuss what they did over the holidays. "Okay okay. How about we go over one by one and tell me what you did for the holidays. Sounds good?" the entire homeroom agrees and so they start going over telling stories about their holiday break. When it was finally Minju's turn- "How about you, Minju? What did you do on your holiday break?" "Nothing special really. Me and my family went to Taiwan to visit my grandparents. Other than that, it's just been a whole lot of reading and studying" "Sounds pretty nerdy to me" Yujin commented and laughs after, making the whole class chuckle and shake their heads at the same time because it looks like these two are gonna start bickering, again. "It is so not. At least I learned something on my holiday break. I bet all you did on your holiday break was play soccer and sweat so much" the classroom was filled with a series of "oooh" because of Minju's classic savage rebat. "Now now you two, you're at it again. Minju it is so nice of you to be studying even in your holiday break" Minju gave Yujin a boastful smirk which made Yujin shrugged her shoulders. "How about you Yujin? How did you spend yours?" "Well the team spent a whole week in a special practice camp that Coach conducted for us. Played soccer a lot on my holiday" "Knew it" Minju said to herself. "Well that's good that you're practicing hard. I sure do hope the soccer team would be able to win again on this year's finals" "We sure will Mrs. Kang. After all, Coach Kang thought as well" Yujin proudly smile, making Irene chuckle, "I'm glad she did" It went on until every student has shared their own happenings over the holidays. Since they've ran out of time, they decided to end it there. "Well that's all for today. We'll be starting our lesson tomorrow" A few seconds left before the bell rings for lunch time and all the students are getting ready to get out, "Well that's all for today! Happy eating" their History teacher said and left, exactly after the bell rings. "You guys head there first, I need to stop by the theater room" Minju told her friends to which they nod as an answer and went their separate ways. As soon as she arrived there, she saw their club's president, "Hey Minju" Sakura, their club president greeted her. "Oh hey unnie. What are you doing here?" "Just preparing the flyers in advance for our Spring Musical. How about you? What brings you here?" "Just wanted to return the original key. I brought it home by mistake and forgot to return it before the holidays started" Sakura nods, "Do you need any help with that?" "Oh no, thank you. You should go and eat your lunch" "Okay. If you say so unnie. You should eat yours also" Sakura smiles warmly at her, "Sure, I will. And oh, we'll be having a meeting next week" Minju nods and leaves the room after returning the key. She heads to the cafeteria and sees her friends sitting on their usual table, so she head there. "Hey I hope you don't mind, we already ordered your food" "Oh, of course I don't. Thanks guys" just when Minju was about to take her first bite, someone suddenly interrupts them by tapping Minju's back. She turns around only to find another annoying face. "Minju, please go out with me. Just this one time" Hyunjin pleads, "Hyunjin, can you please let me eat in peace?" "Minju please, just this once. I promise never to bother you again after this" Minju didn't pay attention to what he was saying and tried to eat in peace. Hyunjin still wouldn't stop pleading until Minju got annoyed. She stopped eating and was about to leave when Hyunjin suddenly grabbed her arm, putting much force into it. "Minju, would you please stop being a pain in the ass and go out with me?!" his voice is slightly raised this time, alarming Minju. "H-Hyunjin, you're hurting me" Minju tried pulling her arm but it was no use for Hyunjin is too strong for her. Her friends stood up and tried stopping Hyunjin but got hurt in the process. Luckily, Hyewon and her group of friends just went inside the cafteria and saw the scene. She quickly went to her sister's direction and pushed the Hwang guy away from her sister. "Hey, are you okay? What's happening here?" Minju's arm was now too red from the amount of force Hyunjin had when she grabbed her. The sight of it made Hyewon raged towards the guy. "Yah! What the hell are you doing?!" "Look, I asked her nicely at first. If she would've said yes, then maybe I wouldn't have to do that" Hyewon tried so hard not to do anything to him that would cause her trouble, "Leave now! And stay away from my sister!" Hyunjin stormed out of the cafeteria and as soon as he did, it was full of murmurs, probably talking about the incident earlier. "Shows over! Get back to eating your meals, people!" Yena yelled and everyone obliged quickly. "Min, are you okay? Are you fine? Did he hurt you?" Hyewon was panicking, "Unnie, calm down. I'm fine now" the older one lets out a sigh of relief, "The next time that guy bothers you again, tell me okay" "Yes unnie. And thank you for saving me earlier" Hyewon ruffles her little sister's hair and leaves to sit on their own table while her friends follow her. Minju went back to eating, "Gosh that guy is really scary! Remember he also asked you out last year and almost did the same thing? Gosh you really need to stay away from him" Nako said, shock and fear still evident from her voice. "We're sorry we couldn't stop him earlier, Minju-ya. I mean, we tried, he's just too strong" "It's fine guys, really" they continue their meal while the three have occasional talks. Minju, on the other hand, is still shocked and terrified from the events that had occurred earlier. Unknown to her, one person who's table was only a few distance from theirs, was staring at her with deep concern in her eyes. They went to class after that and waited (while learning) for the day to be over so that they can finally go home. The Chou sisters had just got home after a tiring day at school (and after they dropped off Eunbi). Hyewon went ahead first and was about to open the door but Minju quickly stopped her. "Unnie, wait" Hyewon halts, "I'd appreciate if you wouldn't tell them what happened earlier" "What? Why? That guy has been bothering you since last year" "I just don't want them to worry anymore. Plus, I'm afraid Mama wouldn't take it well. I'm sure she'll do something to get Hyunjin out of school, I just don't want to make it a big deal" "Okay okay fine. But if he does that- again, I'll surely let them know and you can no longer stop me" The Chou sisters got in and their Mom greeted them. "Hello girls" the sisters went to hug their Mom, "How was school today?" They gave brief glances to each other before Hyewon answered, "It was fine Mom" "Well then, both of you go to your rooms and I'll call you later when dinner's ready" they quickly obliged and did their own things while waiting to be called to eat dinner. When it was time, the family had a happy dinner while conversing with one another.
