Mi Rin knew she would end up getting in trouble by her older brother Kibum and she really didn't want to put up with a lecture this late at night.She shushed at the angel beside her as a sign to keep quiet so the two wouldn't get caught. The black haired girl grabbed the spare house key from her bag and swiftly opened the door without making noise. The two entered the rather large home and started tiptoeing their way to the large stairs. As they were close to approaching the first step, the light from the living room were suddenly turned on, causing the girls to jump in fright."Where have you been, dear little sister of mine," said the one voice that the nerdy girl didn't want to hear. She reluctantly turned her head to the direction of the living room and spotted the blonde casually sitting on the couch as if waiting for the girl the whole time."I-I was just hanging out with Taemin oppa after school today and I forgot the time. I promise I didn't do anything you don't want me to do," stuttered the smaller as she saw the blonde approach the two girls and eyeing them suspiciously. He eyes the angel first since he had no idea who she is in the first place. Then his eyes wandered over to Mi Rin, taking notice of her change of waredrobe than her usual nerdy, not as appealing style...if it was even style in the first place."What's with the sudden change of clothes? And who's the friend?" questions Kibum with his voice of suspision."U-umm...she's a new friend I met in school today a-and the clothes, uh something happen to them and my glasses so she let me barrow some spare clothes," sputters out the young teen to hide the real truth.The girl shut her eyes, expecting for a yell or long lecture by her brother."I love your outfit so much, Mi Rin!! It's so cute!!!" yells Kibum as he threw himself at his younger sister and hugged her tightly."Omo!!!?" question both girl's at the sudden change of personality."W-wait, hold on an sec! Aren't you angry that I broke curfew and tried to sneak into the house without you noticing?" questioned the youngrt sibling in a surprised tone."Well I was but your adorable clothes make up as a sign of apology. Dress like that tomorrow and I'll make you huge breakfast tomorrow before school," persuaded Key as he ruffled his sister's hair and headed up the stairs with a loud yawn as he headed to bed for his beauty sleep.There was silence in the hallway."Well that was...." trailed Jessica."...interesting," finished Mi Rin with the both of them having confused looks.The two shrugged it off and made their way to the stairs to Mi Rin's bedroom. After preparing themselves to get ready for bed, they had a little problem with bedding arrangements since Mi Rin only has one single bed that's not big enough to fit the two girls despite the fact that the room is rather large. With a little angel magic by yours truely, Jessica transformed the bed into a bunk bed for the two of them to sleep on. It kind of surprised Mi Rin eventhough she's now used to the fact that her new friend is her guardian angel who can grant her 5 wishes.Speaking of wishes..."Hey, Sica? Would it be alright if I used my first wish?" asked the nerdy girl as she laid on the bottom bunk with Jessica climbing to the top bunk."Well, I can't really make that decision for you. I mean, they are YOUR wishes afterall. Whatever floats your boat, just remember the rules about wishing," advised the blonde as best as she could. Mi Rin sighed at the answer but decided to ask her next question."So how does the whole "making a wish" thing work? Do you just say "I wish..." and just call out your wish out loud?" questioned the teen."Oh, that part! Here!" called out Jessica. Next thing you know, a small bag containing five treats appeared on Mi Rin's lap."What are these?" asked the raven haired girl."They're Wish Candies. Say your wish and eat one when you finish requesting. Then your wish will come true," explained Jessica."Okay, now that I can deal with. Gomawo, Sica~" sang out the nerd as she laid down with the candies held to her chest. She stayed quiet and slowed her breathing until she heard the angel sleeping soundly. Well, aside from the slight snoring but that couldn't be helped.Mi RIn sighed in relief and took out a candy from the cutely decorated bag. She observed the small details of the candy and saw how it's beautifully made. Who knew that she was going to end up tasting Heaven food for the first time in her life."I wish...I had the style and image I always wanted in my life~" whispered Mi Rin soundly before popping the treat in her mouth. She slowly chewed the candy to savor how tasty it was. I was delicate and sweet. There wasn't very little or a whole lot of sugar. The amount was just right. She smiled in delight and placed the bag of treats on the nightstand next to her. She closed her eyes and faded away in her peaceful dreamland of sweets and happiness. ~Morning~ The next morning that Mi Rin woke up with Jessica shaking her to wake up instead of her usual morning alarm clock. This is probably because she might have gone to bed without setting up her alarm."Wakey wakey MiMi!! Aren't you excited about using your first wish?" The angel spoke trying hard to wake up the nerdy girl. Mi Rin's eyes instantly opened in remembrance of making her first wish last night before she drifted off to dream land."My wish!!" The raven haired girl grinned as she ran towards her closet. Sica looked at the girl in annoyance."Geez, you don't have to yell so loud in the morning," grumbled the blonde.Mi Rin just ignored her comment as she opened her closet and found an assortment of fashionable yet comfortable clothing. Her eyes sparkled at the fact that her wish came true. She always wanted to wear these types of clothes but due to not having enough money that Kibum gives her as an allowance and the fact that their parents only send money every few months from their overseas business, she always wore the hand-me-downs she found in the attic."Since you have to wear a uniform, let's find pieces we can use to make you stand out in a nice way," said Jessica from behind the teen. The latter nodded happily in agreement. The angel quickly went in and started scanning through before picking some articles of clothing. "That was fast," commented the nerdy girl."I was a fashion designer when I was still alive so you could say that I know what I'm doing," replied the angel as she handed the girl a dark navy blue blazer that went along perfectly with her tie and skirt."Wow. If you were still human, Kibum would totally want to go out with you and I would sure approve!!" Smiled Mi Rin as she took the white pantyhose and simple strapped black heels from the elder and placed them on. She went over to her full view mirror and saw a major difference of her style than from her usual large black jacket, mismatch socks and sneakers."Now for the fun part," said the blonde as she sat the raven haired girl and started combing her hair to smooth it out. Once she was done, she grabbed it and pulled it back into a bun to tie it with a white ribbon. She proceeded telling Mi Rin to put on her contacts. The said girl obeyed, soon after having the angel place very light amounts of makeup. Once she finished, she looked at the girl and grinned."Wow, now I can recognize the pretty face that was hiding under that nerdy look," smiled Jessica at the younger. The latter blushed, not really used to getting compliments from anyone about her looks.The girls quickly headed downstairs for breakfast since Mi Rin is never late for school and wants to keep it that way. Once she entered the kitchen, Kibum finished cooking breakfast and placed it on the table. He turned to greet his little sister, though words didn't come out as he gawked at her appearance. Before Mi Rin could tell him to stop staring. The blonde went up to her and hugged her like no tomorrow."Woah!! What happened to my nerdy baby sister!!? She looks so beautiful!! Did God finally answer my prayers!!!?" Kibum was shouting nonsense with poor Mi Rin squirming for air.'Something like that,' thought Jessica and giggled at the male."Can't....b-breathe...Big B-brother...." Sputtered out the raven hair girl who was losing her breathe quickly. Finally Kibum released her to let the smaller gasp for air."Sorry. Have some breakfast. We don't want you go to school hungry now do we?" questioned the older sibling. Mi Rin nodded and started stuffing herself with the delicious pancakes and eggs that were freshly made. Once she finished, she grabbed her school bag and headed out for the door."Don't worry about me, Mi Rin. I'll head over to your school later," said Jessica from the door. Mi Rin turned and waved her hand as of sign of listening before heading for the bus stop.'I wonder what that meant?' thought Mi Rin as she patiently waited for the bus to arrive. She didn't notice the stares she was getting from some of her students from her school at the stop. Once the bus arrived, Mi Rin quickly got on, swiping her bus pass and headed to her usual seat in the back. Students on the bus continued to admire the "new girl" that was sitting on the seat looking out through the window with a small smile on her face.'I can't wait to see what Taemin Oppa and Ren will think when they see me. I hope it's a good response,' thought the raven haired girl as she thought about it the whole bus ride.-- Wow, long time no update, right? I am so sorry everyone. I had really lost a inspiration for the fic during absence. I really didn't find much inspiration to continue it but suddenly, last night this awesome Korean band really brought my creativity for this story back *coughCnBluecough*. So yeah, I bring you back with a longish chapter. I have 2 more weeks till midterms so I'll try my best to update frequently again. Thanks for commenting and subscribing everyone!!
