www.youtube.com/watch?v=on6sjhF0vR0~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ “AH!” You grunted and hit the tennis ball as hard as you could. It ended up hitting the net. You sighed in frustration and grabbed another ball from the basket. With a glare at the net, you tossed the ball up and wacked it forcefully. This time it ended up bouncing off the gate and out of the tennis court.“UGH!” You bit on your tongue, preventing you from cursing loudly. Angrily, you grabbed another ball and readied yourself. You stared, shocked, at the ball on the ground. How could you have missed that? *You have got to be kidding me.* You grabbed more tennis balls and hit them with all you had left in you. The tennis balls all went flying in different directions. You dropped your racket and sank onto the ground with tear stained eyes. *I’m getting worse and worse.* You thought and sobbed.“Minyoung?”You recognized that voice anywhere. In a flash, you stood up and wiped your tears. You cleared your throat and sniffled. “What are you doing here?” You looked up and met eyes with your classmate, Bang Yongguk. The senior that every girl in school had a crush on.“What are you doing here?” You bluntly asked.Yongguk raised an eyebrow at you. “What are you doing here? Are you crying?” He came closer.“No.” But your voice wavered. *Damn.*He didn’t seem convinced. He looked around and then back at you. “How long have you been out here for?”You blinked. Honestly, you had completely lost track of time. “Only a couple of hours…” Your voice trailed off at the end. It was then when you noticed the sun had gone down.“School ended six hours ago, Minyoung.” Yongguk stated.“What’s your point?” You retorted. Right now, you were in no mood to receive any lectures. Not even from the hottest guy in school.Yongguk ignored your rude remark and retrieved all of the tennis balls scattered out on the court. He tossed them into the basket and picked your racket up. All the while, you stood there with your arms crossed and a blank, tired, expression on your face. He stopped what he was doing and looked over at you.He smiled a gummy smile that sent all the girls’ hearts racing. “Have you eaten yet?” He slung your tennis bag over his right shoulder and held out your half-empty water bottle. You snatched in from his hand and downed the water. Your throat burned but you kept drinking. You wiped the corner of your mouth and tossed the bottle into the trash can. “I haven’t.”Yongguk nodded with that famous pearly, white smile of his. “Good. C’mon.” He motioned for you to follow him.Warily, you followed him out to his sleek, black car.-----In less than fifteen minutes, the two of you arrived at a small diner. You climbed out of the car and shut the door. “I need my wallet.” You reached for the door handle when you heard the car lock with a beep. You looked up at Yongguk. “I need my money.” You repeated.Yongguk shoved his car keys into his pocket with a sly smile. “Too bad. I already locked the car.”You rolled your eyes and groaned. “You’re stupid.”He snickered and held the restaurant door open. “After you.” He bowed. You shook your head and lightly punched him in the arm. You brushed pass him and walked into the diner. He led you to a red booth and slid into the seat; you slid onto the seat in front of him.A waitress with a friendly smile came by and gave the both of you menus. “Let me know when you are ready to order.” She bowed and walked away.Yongguk pushed his menu to the side and leaned over the table. He stared at you for one minute and then asked, “What are you gonna get?”You glanced at the menu and closed it. “What are you gonna get?”“Tease.” He smirked and waved the waitress over.“You ready to order?” The waitress kindly asked. You and Yongguk nodded. “Alright. What can I get you?”“I’ll take number 8 and a coke.” Yongguk said. The waitress turned to you. “And you?”“Can I just get the green salad and a glass of water?” You handed her your menu. She nodded with a smile. “Sure thing.” She collected the menus and left.---“Hey wake up, our food is here.” Yongguk poked your forehead. With a frown, you sat up. “I wasn’t sleeping.”“Here’s your salad.” The waitress placed a big, round plate in front of you and handed Yongguk his food. “If there’s anything you need, let me know. Enjoy.”You bowed your head and looked down at your boring salad. You looked over at Yongguk’s plate. A big, juicy burger and seasoned fries were taunting you. *That looks so good.*Yongguk caught you staring at his food and smiled. He grabbed your plate and switched it with his. “No it’s fi-” You reached out for your plate.Yongguk pushed your hands down gently. “Don’t worry about it. It’s okay. Eat your food.” He nodded at the burger with a soft smile. You bit your bottom lip and stared at the delicious, greasy, fat meal. *To hell with it.* You grabbed the burger and took a big bite. It was heaven in your mouth.Yongguk watched you with an amused expression on his face. *She’s been torturing herself too much.*----After a hearty meal and reluctantly letting Yongguk pay for your food, the two of you exited the small diner.“Do you want to go for a walk?” Yongguk asked, not wanting to let you go…just yet.Surprisingly, you agreed without a sarcastic or witty comment. “Sure.” You smiled and nodded. The both of you strolled side by side in the park. The moonlight peeked through the tall trees and brightened the already lit path. You sighed and stretched your arms above your head. You glanced at Yongguk and bit your lip. *God, he’s so handsome.* But you would never admit that to anyone. Nonetheless yourself. “Thank you for dinner, Yongguk.” You shyly said.He looked at you and smiled. Warmth filled his heart. “No problem.” *Anytime, Minyoung.*He looked down at your hand. He wanted to reach out and take hold of your hand but he was too shy. *Dammit Bang Yongguk, man up and grab hold of her hand. Don’t you want to show her how much you like her?*He sighed and shook his head, disappointed in himself.“Can we sit for a little bit?” You asked.“Sure.” Yongguk walked over to a bench and dusted the leaves off. “Here.” He motioned for you to sit.You shyly smiled and sat down. “Thank you.”Yongguk took a seat next to you and crossed his ankles. He smoothed down his jeans and puffed out his cheeks.“I’m thinking about quitting tennis.” You stated.Yongguk sat up straight and looked at you. There wasn’t an ounce of joke on your face. “Wae? You love tennis.”You smiled sadly. “I do. But I’m no good at it.”“I’ve seen you play before. You’re amazingly talented. You probably just had a rough day today.” He tried comforting you.“Or a rough month.” You sarcastically laughed.Yongguk scooted closer to you and placed his arm behind you, on the bench back. “Don’t be so harsh on yourself Minyoung. Maybe you need to take a break and just relax.”“So I can become even worse? No way. Starting tomorrow, I’m gonna start practicing everyday for six hours straight.” *I don’t care how long it takes or how hard I have to work, I will become the best.*An autumn breeze swept pass you, making you shiver. You wrapped your arms around yourself and suddenly sneezed. *Oh no.*Yongguk softened and came closer to you. You rubbed your nose and blinked your watery eyes. You froze in shock when you felt soft lips press against your cheek. You looked up with wide eyes and quickly turned your head. Wrong move. Your lips instantly crashed with Yongguk’s. You gasped and pulled away. You covered your mouth and looked up at him. “I’m so sorry.”Yongguk’s husky, low chuckle sent shivers down your spine. He unzipped his jacket and pulled you onto his lap. “I can’t let my future girlfriend get sick, now can I?” He wrapped the jacket around you and pulled you closer, if possible.Your noses were touching. Your cheeks burned a bright pink and you worried Yongguk would be able to see it. “Future girlfriend?” You whispered.Yongguk found your hand and intertwined his fingers with yours. His hot breath hit your face. “Yeah. That’s if you want to be my girlfriend.” His deep voice made his whisper sound even huskier.“God your voice is so sexy.” You blurted without thinking. You slapped your hands over your mouth. *I’m so stupid.*“What’d you say?” Yongguk looked at you. The corners of his mouth started twitching up into a smile. He heard what you had said; he just wanted you to repeat it.“I didn’t say anything.” You fibbed.Yongguk poked your rib. “Yah. What’d you say?”You tilted your head in mock confusion. “When?”A low growl emitted from Yongguk’s throat. “What?” You looked at him and burst into laughter. “You look funny when you’re mad.” You bit your lip and smiled.“Tell. Me. What. You. Said.” Yongguk firmly stated. You shook your head with an amused smile on your lips. “You’re so annoying.” And with that, you pressed your lips against his. Yongguk’s mind went completely blank immediately. He smiled through your lips and nipped at your bottom lip. *Saranghae Minyoung.*-----The End! :DHope you all loved it!Especially you, bestie! <3
