Meeting The Dom (1/1)
Xiumin looked at the man standing across the room. There was a man kneeling before him. His clothes ripped and torn, blood covering his back where he looked to have been whipped repeatedly. He felt that he had walked in on a beating before an execution. Xiumins’ face was blank and he stared at the scene before him. The Dom was dressed in a nice black suit that looked to be recently pressed and his shoes newly polished. In one hand he held a short straight knife that shined and was newly sharpened; in the other hand he held a black piece of leather. To anyone on the outside it would seem like a rope or even something used to tie a large object, but Xiumin knew better, it was a whip.He knew that he had walked in on something that wasn’t going to end pretty. The Dom looked from the man whose head hung so that he wouldn’t look up at the Dom; to Xiumin who stood paralyzed, not knowing what to say or do in this situation.“Now, when you were being trained you were told that you cannot take the product.” The Dom smiled as if he was having a casual afternoon conversation over tea. He walked back and forth, smacking a whip on the palm of his hand. Each sound made the blonde man on the floor cringe. Xiumin saw that not only were his wrists and ankles bound his eyes were covered with a thick black cloth so that it would be impossible for him to see out.Xiumin could tell that without his sight the boys ears seemed more keen to all the sounds around him, he was listening to every movement that the Dom made. “But I didn’t—” as the boy began to speak suddenly the Dom brought down the coiled whip and smacked him directly across the face. The boy fell backwards, practically flying.“Shut up and listen to me when I talk, do not interrupt me.” The Dom grabbed the boys’ collar, lifting him up and then slamming him back down on his knees. The boy hung his head again, not moving. Xiumin could see clear liquid running down the boys’ face from the bottom of the blind fold and he knew that the boy was crying.Xiumin wished he could help the boy, but he knew that if he did or even said something he would probably get the same treatment for “questioning” the bosses motives. Which he knew wouldn’t end well for him.“We have rules, and those who do not follow the rules have to pay.” The Dom walked around behind the boy, bringing the whip down again, cutting the boys shirt and leaving deep gashes from where the whip connected with skin, the open wounds beginning to bleed. “Do you understand?” The boy stayed silent. “I said do you understand!” The words came out in a rush as the Dom brought the whip back down and across the boys back, crossing the other wounds and making a perfect ‘X’.“Yes!” the boy cried out. “But sir I didn’t do it!” the boy said quickly, his voice quivering.“I didn’t ask who did and who didn’t do it.” The Dom repeatedly brought the whip down across the boys skin in various areas, enunciating each word every time he brought the whip back down.Xiumin could feel himself minorly flinch every time the crack of the whip was made. He was doing his best to hide it so that the Dom wouldn’t think of him as a weakling. After the boy seemed to be beaten to a pulp the Dom stepped back as if he were examining his handiwork. The boy lay motionless apart from the rise and fall of his chest with his difficulty breathing.“Now.” The Dom stepped up beside the boy, rolling him with his foot so that he had to “look” up at him. He seemed more cool and composed then the man he was a few seconds ago. If Xiumin didn’t know any better he would’ve guessed that the Dom had bipolar disorder. “If I were to let you out on the field again would I be able to trust you that this wouldn’t happen again?”The boy struggled to his knees, nodding again and again.” Yes sir, I promise that this will never happen again.”“Well then, I guess I have no other choice.” Xiumin saw the look of gratitude cross his features, the boy would be let off with a warning and he wouldn’t make the same mistake twice, not that he had done it in the first place; as the evidence Xiumin had heard was claimed.“Do you think that you can step up your game tomorrow?” The Dom asked the boy, walking over to his desk, pulling something out of the drawer and putting it in his pocket, too fast for Xiumin to see. “Yes sir, I can start as early as dawn.”“Well that’s nice.” The Dom walked back over to the boy who was still on his knees. “Because you won’t see the light of day tomorrow.” Suddenly the Dom pulled out a small semi-automatic hand gun, cocking it back into place in order to shoot. The fear washed over the boys’ face again and he knew that his life was over. The Dom pulled the trigger; the loud shot rang through the confined space of the area. Xiumin watched as the blood splayed from the boys’ chest, out the back and the front, a perfect hole from where the bullet went through. He was standing far enough away that he didn’t get any blood on him, but he couldn’t say the same thing for the Dom. His hands were covered, his suit had spots on it and some blood even got on his face because of his close range. He watched as the body swayed and then fell forward into the puddle of its own blood. The Dom was ruthless, and this was just one way that proved it.The Dom walked over behind the desk, hitting a button under the desk. Xiumin moved to the side when suddenly four men, they looked to be body guards, came in. When they walked in they paid no mind to the dead body lying in the middle of the floor, to them this was normal so they had probably gotten used to it, but Xiumin on the other hand; felt as though he was about to throw up any minute if they didn’t move it fast enough. The men didn’t even look at Xiumin as they walked over to the Dom. He addressed them quickly. “I want you to clean up this body and make sure that he isn’t found, as for his friend, I want him here tomorrow. Alive.”“Yes sir.” They all replied in sync and bowed, picking up the corpse by his arms and legs as they began to tote him off and out of the room. “Oh!” the Dom called. The men stopped and looked at the Dom. “After I’m done with my client here I’ll need you to come clean up the mess from that.” He pointed to the corpse of the dead boy. The men all bowed their heads and went out the door, closing it behind them.Once the doors closed tightly Xiumin turned around to face the Dom who was wiping off his hand with a smile, as if he had just baked a really good pie or something, not just killed a man.“So anyway.” The Dom sat down in his chair, looking up at Xiumin and motioning for him to come sit in the chair across from him and his desk. “Back to business.”Xiumin pulled out the chair, sitting down, his face ever unchanging as he looked coolly at the Dom as if they were complete strangers and he hadn’t just witnessed a murder by the hand of this man.“So you have it?” The Dom sat forward, all ears for Xiumin.Xiumin gave a sly smile, crossing one leg over the other as he reached into his inside coat pocket. “There’s no way I would come back empty handed.” He pulled out the baggie, holding it up near his face. “It was a little difficult but I still got it. But,” he pulled the baggie back as the Dom tried to reach for it.He waggled his finger back and forth, “uh uh, payment first.” He held his hand out, palm up, motioning with his fingers for his payment.“You’re hardly one to be making demands, seeing as how you work for me,” The Dom leaned back, folding his hands together on his desk.“I know.” Xiumin smiled jokingly, sliding the bag towards the Dom. “But I’m the only one who can because everyone else around here had no sense of humor.”“Oh I know, and Sehun especially, that boy is such an emotional letdown I even question why I hired him sometimes.” Xiumin was surprised at this remark, hearing this from the Dom after talking to the guy in the hall after he just tried to make a bad joke even if it was a joke. “Here you are.” The Dom slid a white envelope and some folded papers across the desk to Xiumin.“What’s this?” he asked, opening the papers. It had the picture of a person, some info about him and about his company.“That’s your next assignment.” The Dom pointed to the papers Xiumin now held in his hand. “That’s our biggest rival; he’s been the one trying to bring us down. But not just us, all the other groups too. He runs the business ChenMin on the other side of town in the large skyscraper.”Xiumin looked up, that was the business he worked for too. If they took down this business where would his daily income come from? He didn’t want to work for the mob for the rest of his life. “But doesn’t that company sell paper?” Xiumin asked.“That’s the cover story for them, they sell paper yes, but inside the company they have people working on taking down every single mob in the city.”“So what do you want me to do?” Xiumin looked up, setting down the papers, slipping his payment and the papers into his inside jacket pocket.“I need you to somehow get into the company, get close with the person running the business and shut the program down, kill if you have to. I don’t want the whole company down, just those working on trying to get us.”Xiumin nodded, brushing off the killing part. He really didn’t want to kill anyone, and especially people that probably had a wife and kids. “Got it. Is that all?” he asked, beginning to stand up from where he sat.“One moment,” the Dom reached down, pulling something out of his desk drawer and handing it to Xiumin. It was a folded piece of paper. Xiumin looked up confused.“Next Saturday there will be a dance held at NSOD down town, I want you to attend and to find that person who is running ChenMin, I want you to get close and weasel your way into his personal life in order to obtain all the information we need. I was told he should be there so it shouldn’t be too hard finding him.”“And why do you say that?” Xiumin smiled deviously.“Just look for the rich looking guy in the designer suit, that’s most likely the guy.” The Dom smirked as if he knew everything.“If you say so.” Xiumin chuckled. He stood up, walking over to the door, stopping and looking at the Dom again, “I’ll report back as soon as I can.” The Dom nodded before turning to something else that occupied his desk. With that Xiumin walked out the door, closing it securely behind him as he walked down the confusing maze-like corridors and out the building. The sky was growing darker by the minute; he knew that he had to get home because of his day job waking him up at 5AM. He knew that he still had to do research on his next mission; he assumed that his target wouldn’t be as easy as his other ones, seeing as how he ran a big company, and not just that, he ran a private company beneath that, the only problem…. Xiumin was part of that other company. He just hoped that somehow it would work out for him all for the best. He zipped up his jacket, pulling his hood over his head before he sprinted towards home.~~~Hello everyone!!!
