The Begining of My Broken (1/1)

The basketball court is full with young teenage girls who are gossiping and whispering all giddy while looking through the main door of the indoor court as they are looking at the tall young teenage boy who is already at 15 years of age playing basketball with his friends and keep on scoring to the hoops.It is a usual day at school and Taeyong has never been really interested about the girls who have been looking at him and calling out his name since he already got used to that situation since he got in school in the last few years. He never bothered to say anything about it as long as the girls keep their distance and he only talks to a few girls who have piqued his interest."Wow... your cousin really is a superstar." Joy says to Ten and the young boy who has been growing up with Taeyong sighs while looking at the tall young boy who resembles his father so much who has become a world renowned famous wizard in their own time."Let's go... we are already late for our club." The young boy says making Joy nod as they both walk to the dance club's room. Ten joined the dance club where he could perform any kind of dance, including ballet, as it's the one thing that he loves to do and helps take his mind off things that are meaningless to him especially about Taeyong. His cousin, Taeyong, has become much more known to the others not only for his family background but the tall young boy has become really famous for his good looks and polite manners to the others, especially girls, and seeing that has made Ten grow a bit further away from his cousin since he didn't like that part of Taeyong. Later that evening, Ten finishes his practice for that day as they are preparing for the summer festival that will be held in another two weeks before they all go for a long summer vacation and after that, he will busy with summer programs that his mother wanted to enroll him to which means that he will not be hanging out with his cousins this year as the dance program is really important to him since it would be on his resumé for the future reference as he  plans to pursue a career as a dancing instructor or to be a professional dancer."Tennie..." A voice calls out for him making him startled and he turns his back to look at where the voice is coming from and he sighs a little."What do you want?" Ten asks making Taeyong look at his cousin with a bitter smile and then he looks at the students who are still on the floor looking all curious at him."Come out... I'll wait for you." Taeyong says and he walks out from the dance room and stands alone outside waiting for Ten as the young boy takes his time since they both have something that they need to talk about.After waiting for almost an hour, Ten comes out from the room and Taeyong is looking at him still with a bitter smile."As I asked... what do you want? It's late, I need to go home... you should too or your mom's going to be worried." Ten tells his cousin and Taeyong stares at the pretty face with pain in his heart."You're misunderstanding what that girl is saying about me... you know that's not me and we're just friends, she's exaggerating things that didn't even happen." Taeyong says making Ten roll his eyes and his feet start moving."I don't want to hear about it... it's not my business what you do, you don't have to explain anything to me... you are free to do anything you like and it does not bother me." Ten says."No... I need to explain and you know why..." Taeyong says making the young boy's feet stop and look back at Taeyong with curiosity."Oh... really? Why?" Ten asks making Taeyong a little bit speechless when Ten looks at him like he has done something really wrong."I don't want to say it since you know why... we have been together since we were kids and you still don't know why I keep showing up like this to your face? Keeping you close to me and explaining everything when there are things I thought might bother you... we are starting to grow apart, haven't you noticed that?" Taeyong asks making Ten shake his head and huff a little."Don't even go there. If we've been growing apart, that's because we have our own things to do, you have your life and I have mine too... besides, you know that I already have someone I like, right? So what you think about us, it's not going to happen... I did tell you this before and I will say it again now, you are my best friend and my cousin Tae-yah... that is all we'll ever be." Ten says before starting to walk away again making Taeyong's face scrunch up as he tries not to be angry."Jae is not interested in men, Ten... he likes women despite him being the same like you, he likes you just like his own little brother... don't you see that? No matter how much you try, he will not bend for you." Taeyong says making the young boy stop and look back at the tall young man."I know... but still, you and I will not be together... if not with Jaehyun hyung, I'd rather be with anyone else except you." Ten says making Taeyong bite on his lip as he has been hearing those words from Ten's mouth too many times already but he never changed his mind about wanting Ten to be his other half in life.   Taeyong arrives at home with a sullen face again making Suho curiously look at his son with since the young child is coming in late making the small elder wonder if practice ended much later than it's supposed to and is making his son really busy after school."Honey... you came home really late today, did the practice keep you this late?" The small elder asks making Taeyong look at his mother with a small smile."Hmmmm, we are going to have a friendly match next weekend, Mom... then before summer vacation, we'll have a few more matches with schools who've already fixed practice with us." Taeyong says making the small elder nod."Okay, sweetheart... you look tired, wash up... dinner will be ready soon." Suho says making the young child nod and let his mother kiss him on the cheeks as he didn't want to make his mother worried about him since he knows his mother has lots of things on his mind already including the latest addition to their family. Six years ago, his mother got pregnant with a child again and Prince Taehyung came into the family and as the youngest child, Taehyung has been spoiled by his parents. As the eldest child, Taeyong is preparing to be the head of the royal family and has started learning to be one. This year, he will gain his powers back by the end of summer, his life will change and he needs to think about the new school that he will be enrolled in.Lisa just entered his school this year and the young girl has her own peers and friends and she does know about his life in school but at the same time, Lisa has always been the one that kept it together and she tries not to meddle with his affairs. She respects his own space and at the same time, he's making sure that Lisa would not hear bad things about him as he wants his little sister to have her own fun at school.Just like him, Lisa possessed powers at an early age and also, Lisa sealed her powers at the age of two and Taehyung at the age of one since the powers were growing on him rapidly making both of their parents worried about the youngest child of the family."Oppa... we are going to be late for dinner." Lisa calls out from the door to his bedroom making Taeyong look at his little sister with a small smile."Yeah... sorry, let's go." Taeyong says as he walks hand in hand with Lisa as the young girl is really close to him and she hates their youngest one and keeps on being jealous of Taehyung but Lisa has her own ways of showing how much she loves Taehyung every once in a while.Kris is coming out from his study room when he sees his two children, Taeyong and Lisa, and he smiles at them. Taehyung then comes out from his play room and runs to his father for a hug making Lisa huff and of course, the youngest being a little bit of a cheeky brat, annoys his sister."Dinner is ready." The small elder says making everyone gather at the dining table and as like any other day, they have their dinner conversation with Kris asking what they have been doing at school and Taehyung keeps his cheeky attitude away when they're having their dinner since he knows his father might turn green if they all don't behave while they're eating together."You are going to be 16 by the end of the summer and we will be getting your powers back, are you excited?" Suho asks while looking at his son."I think so..." Taeyong says making Kris look at his son, curious."You don't want to have your powers back?" Kris asks."No... it's not like that... I just think that I need more time to think about it and the magic school... do I really have to go?" Taeyong asks making the tall young man look at his wife with knitted brows."Honey... we have been talking about this for years now and I thought you were excited to have your powers back and start learning magic again and the magic school is just the like the school you are in right now, just with more knowledge and lessons on magic... you can also come home everyday just like now... if you don't want to stay in dorm, a driver will pick you up everyday." Suho says to his son making Taeyong look a little bit sad but he just smiles and only Lisa knows what's on his mind since she knows her brother really well."Mom... can I have my powers back much earlier than oppa? Waiting for another 4 years really is a pain." Lisa says making Suho look at his daughter with a small sigh."We have discussed this Lisa and the answer is NO!" Suho says to his child and Kris is still looking at his eldest son curiously."Taeyong, we need to talk, come by to the office after dinner, okay." The tall elder says making Taeyong nod and look at his mother with a bitter smile. After dinner, Taeyong and Kris have a long talk about school and magic while Lisa and Taehyung are at their mother's side watching some show on the TV."Do you know what is going on with your brother? You must've heard things at school, right?" Suho asks while looking at his daughter and Lisa sits close to her mother and puts her head on her mother's lap letting the small elder brush her hair softly with his hand."My room's building is separate from Taeyong oppa's class and he tries his very best not to involve me in his life when we are at school... he hardly gives me a glance so that the girls in his year would not bother me." Lisa says making Suho nod."You and Minju are in the same class, right? Is she like that with her oppa too?" Suho asks."Minju is much more of a proud girl mom and her personality is much worse than me, she is a tomboy I tell you... but, I still love her." Lisa says making Suho laugh a little."Mommy..." Taehyung whines with a big yawn and climbs up to his mother's lap and starts to push Lisa away making the young girl annoyed and she's trying to stay still like a rock so that Taehyung would not take her place on her mother's lap."Guys... you need to stop... Lisa, give it up for your little brother please..." Suho says making the small young girl huff a little."I was here first and this used to be my spot!" The young girl answers back making Taehyung look at her with a glare and start whining to his mother."I know, sweetheart, but you're already 12 years old and you are becoming a wise and beautiful young girl, will you be sensible for your little brother even just a little bit? I thought you love him." Suho reasons out to his daughter and Lisa sits down obviously annoyed and glares at Taehyung who's already taking her place."I don't love him... I hate him!" The young girl says as she gets up from the sofa and stomps her feet to her room making Suho lose his words and look at his youngest child with a speechless expression but Taehyung just smiles and snuggles up his mother's arms and he yawns making Suho brush the soft bro
