Waking up to the alarm that morning, there is a soft sigh from the young person who's turning around on the bed and staring at the ceiling with a little annoyance. But then, she knows that she needs to get up and get ready for work even if this week is going to be the most challenging week of the month for her, as like every other month that she has lived in her life.Being born with a curse passed on from a thousand years ago makes the young person inevitably curse on her family legacy. Despite living in the new world full of technology, still, there is nothing that could cure the condition that she has had since she was born.Climbing down from the bed, she walks to the bathroom and sighs as she looks in the mirror. Last night, she knows that when she went to bed, she was still a man but right now, she turned to a woman with everything changed from top to toe. It happens once a month, for a whole week, somehow like a woman having her period, this would be the case for her. She knows that the particular week will be her cycle, but she's never prepared for it since turning into a woman evokes new feelings from her every time.His short hair grew longer in one night and he physically changed completely to a woman. All these changes, she needs to bear with for the entire week and after that, she'll change back to his normal physical form which is that of a young man who just graduated from the prestigious University of Seoul and at the age of 23 years old, got his MBA and is currently helping the hotel business that he inherited from his family and has been theirs since long ago. She looks at the right side of the closet where everything a woman needs from head to toe would be. Her family provides everything for her and her closet was recently changed since she started her work at the office. Her parents bought a lot of work clothes for her; from office suits, to blouses, skirts and long pants.The shoes and bags were displayed beautifully in the shelves which made Junhee realize that this is going to be the first time that she'll go to work in her woman appearance. Of course, the staff that she's been working with knows her identity since they know which family they are working for and if people want to work with her family, they will be interviewed and lectured about the history of her family and there are terms and conditions that they need to comply with as well as signing a confidentiality agreement about their family secret; that they will not spread anything bad or anything that will happen to the family to outsiders.Thinking about the weather right now, Junhee takes a vintage burgundy black lace mermaid one piece that shows off her slim figure and she thinks she looks mature in this color.The black hair that she inherited from her mother became blonde, beautifully long and wavy at the end, which she decided to let down her back. She then walks to the part of the closet that is full of necessities for a woman. From when she was young, she has learned many things about being a woman and she also learned how to apply basic makeup. However, if she needs to go to any function where she needs to be all out, she just goes to the salon and asks the professionals to do it for her.Satisfied with her look, Junhee stares at the line of feminine shoes in her closet, she knows that she could not stand in high heels all day long but she doesn't have much choice since her mother bought everything in high heels. She notes in her mind that she needs to stop by the mall after work to buy some flat ballerina shoes.She chooses a pair of black high heels suited with her one-piece work dress and a hand bag that goes along with the look. She then looks at the clock and curses under her breath, getting ready in her woman form really takes more of her time and she might be late in going to work today.   Junhee walks out from her room after taking everything that she needs and walks downstairs while holding onto her bag with a shoe in each hand and with big steps, she heads to the breakfast table where her parents are looking at her with startled looks, but then their lips break into a smile making Junhee sigh because she knows the look they're giving her."Thank you for the compliment Mom but I am already late, so, I'll just have this." Junhee tells her mother making the elder chuckle and turn to look at his husband who is smirking while continuing with his breakfast.The young woman walks out from the main door and greets their driver who has been waiting for her. Junhee respects the elder and considers him a part of their family already since he has been working with them from generation to generation, and at the moment, he's been training his second son as he will be the one who will inherit the job and will continue serving her family."Good morning agassi." The elder says and bows to her making Junhee smile a little."Good morning ajushi, thank you for preparing the car for me." Junhee says making the elder smile and then he looks at his son and nods at him, which then the young man walks to the car and opens up the door for Junhee."Thank you." Junhee says with a smile making the young man give her a surprised look and then he walks to the driver's side and hops into the car."Shall we go agassi?" The young man asks and Junhee nods a little."Have you eaten your breakfast, Heecheon? And don't be so formal with me, we have known each other since we were young, right?" Junhee says while looking at the young man via the rearview mirror."I had my breakfast already and thank you for asking... still, you are my employer and my dad always told me to build the boundaries between me and you... We are friends, but right now I'm working, we could always be friends outside of work." Heecheon says making Junhee smile and nod."You and that straight attitude of yours never gets old with me but you are right, we are working adults right now... you are willing to have this job rather than opting for another like any young man out there." Junhee says."I did tell you that serving your family is my dream job, right? Besides, the money is good too." Heecheon says making Junhee laugh and sigh at the same time."I'm glad that you are staying with your dad and I do think that your mom is proud of you too." Junhee says making the young man nod and smile. The rest of the trip to the office continues with light conversation between the two. "You look a little bit nervous..." Heecheon says as he opens up the door for Junhee making the young woman sigh a little."This is the first time that I will be coming to work with this appearance." Junhee says making Heecheon nod as he understands that Junhee always comes to work as Junmyeon, his original self that he was born into the world with the curse that has been bestowed upon his family since a thousand years ago."You are going to be fine and the staff already knows who you are, so I think, it made them anticipate the woman side of you. And now, they finally get to see the real you, the Kim Junhee and Kim Junmyeon." Heecheon says making the young woman smile and nod a little."Pick me up after work and I need to do some shopping... these heels will kill me today." Junhee says making the young man laugh a little and nod."I'll be right on time agassi and your secretary is already here for you, good luck with work." The young man says and Junhee sighs again as she walks into the main building's big automatic sliding doors and her secretary is there to welcome her with both a smile and a cup of coffee in her hand making Junhee sigh as she gives her bag to her assistant."Good morning agassi, you look beautiful today." Seohyun greets Junhee making her laugh a little and walk confidently to her office and she notices that everyone's eyes are looking at her. Today, of all days, the attention is a little bit overwhelming but she should manage her work just fine."We still have a meeting with our new contractor from the same architectural company that we hired to build our new hotel here in the city." Seohyun says as she gives the file to Junhee making the small young woman sigh and feel tired already with the amount of work that she has to do today."Do I have to meet them? I don't even know these kinds of things... you should ask Minho or Kibum to go, these are all in their expertise." Junhee says while taking off her heels."You are the boss and your father already gave the instruction, specifically, for you to meet them. This is also an opportunity to know your enemy's weakness." Seohyun tells the young woman and Junhee knits her brows."My enemy's weakness? What do you mean by that?" Junhee asks."You do know the architect's family that we hired is from the Chinese family that has a long history with yours, right? Since they are one of your dad's trusted and loyal friends." Seohyun says making Junhee nod."I know that, but they're not the family that gave us the curse, and you know my dad would not want to be involved with that witch's family." Junhee says making Seohyun smile and walk closer to her friend's side."Of course, he would not like that and your mom's going to declare a war if he knows about it... but one from the witch's family's son is working in the architectural company and recently moved into our country and he is an original descendant of that witch's family, the rightful heir... I do think that he has the talent of magic since he drew a lot of people close to him... but that's just me and I only know this because someone told me." Seohyun says making Junhee knit her brows again."Really? And where did you get all of these again?" Junhee asks."There is a full interview on him in a magazine since he was named one of the premier, young, talented and good looking up & coming men as voted by the readers, and he is a really hot engineer... you can read all about his family background, he wasn't shy in telling everyone that he was born from a witch and wizard family, and they are big names too." Seohyun says while bringing the magazine for Junhee to look at and the small young woman stares at the good looking face with annoyance."Does my dad know about this?" Junhee asks."He probably doesn't know about it, but my theory is that this young and good looking man is working under another company and not with your dad's trusted friends, which is why I think your dad missed out that information since it's just temporary....
