Chapter 103 (1/1)

Jeonghan tapped his fingers on the table.  It's only been one day and he's bored without his helper.  If not for helping, Jaemin was the parent's source of entertainment.  Now he's just bored.  He stood up and walked out of the house.  Seeing that it's a bright, sunny day, it reminded him of Seokmin.  "I can visit them, right?"  He thought aloud.  "Cheol pays for classes, I should be able to go on campus."  He walked to the gate. He figured that Jinyoung could help with whatever Dongwoo and Vernon needed, so he started his way to college.  He hummed a small tune.  Arriving on campus, he sees Minghao outside with an easel. "Outside work?"  Jeonghan asked. Minghao's fingers shake before turning around.  "You seriously scared the hell out of me."  Minghao said, looking back to make sure that the painting wasn't ruined. "Announcing my presence would have scared you too,"  Jeonghan stated, "that and I don't see any fire or lava, so I guess it wasn't that bad."  He commented. Minghao breathed in and out, closing his eyes and shaking his head.  "What are you doing here?"  He asked. "I'm bored."  Jeonghan shrugged. Minghao then folded his arms and raised one eyebrow.  "You're bored because you don't have a little minion to bother?"  He asked. "I never bothered him per se.."  Jeonghan muttered. "So why don't you go get a job?"  Minghao suggested.  "You haven't worked in over seven years."  He mentioned. Jeonghan pursed his lips and looked down at the road.  "Well.." "It's not like Cheol-dad is stopping you, right?"  Minghao asked, calm enough to pick up his paints again. The parent shrugged.  "Every time I brought up that I should get a job, he always said I needed to stay home for the kids."  He said, holding his hips. "And how long ago was that?"  Minghao asked, looking at the big tree he's in front of. Jeonghan thought back for a moment.  "Let's see.. I think it was when we got Seungkwan.  About four years ago?"  He guessed as he watched Minghao paint.   "Well news flash, your kids are all grown up."  Minghao said sassily.  "Vernon is busy with the construction and has plenty of supervision from Dongwoo and Jinyoung."  He mentioned. Jeonghan hummed.  "True.." "And I say, until the twins move in, you're responsibility-free."  Minghao commented.  "So why not apply for a small job or something until that happens?"  He suggested dabbing the white and then tossing the droplets onto the painting to simulate natural debris in the air. "I suppose I can.."  Jeonghan looked around.  "but what about the days I need to shop?"  He asked. Minghao shrugged.  "Shop after work?"  He said, looking at the art. "I'll see what Cheol says.."  Jeonghan muttered. Minghao huffed and turned around.  "Forget about that,"  He said, "just go do something you want to do."  He insisted. "But-" "He wants you to be happy, right?"  Minghao asked with a concerned eyebrow, getting a nod from the parent.  "If you're happy with the job you pick, then there's no need to worry right?"  He asked, getting a slight nod from Jeonghan. Jeonghan sighed.  "I haven't worked in so long, I've probably forgotten how to socialize.."  He chuckled. "You're fine,"  Minghao smirked, "how long did you know Lisa before setting up that moment with her and Jae?"  He asked. "I just walked up to her.." Jeonghan answered. Minghao chuckled.  "Trust me, you'll blend in better than colors in the rainbow."  He assured. Jeonghan smiled.  "Thanks.. I never imagined I would get a pep talk from my child."  He laughed.  "I'll stop bothering you now."  He waved. "Good."  He waved.

*** Dinner was finished on time and the residents were all on time for it.  Renjun was invited for dinner as well.  Seungcheol looked around and saw a smile on Dino's lips. "What's making Dino all smiles?"  Seungcheol asked, picking up a sausage and putting it with his rice. Dino smiles and looks at Renjun beside him.  "Renjuni defended me against Shownu today."  He boasted, getting wide eyes from the other kids. "Seriously?"  Jun widened his eyes.  "You stood up against the admin's son?  You got guts, Kid."  He said before biting down on a roll. "Well.."  Renjun looked down at the table. Dino put his arm around the Chinese boy.  "He sure did, he wasn't afraid of Shownu's muscles either."  He mentioned.  "My Renjun is so brave and strong."  He patted Renjun's head. Jeonghan smiled as the two blush at each other.  "And how was your trip to Jeju?"  He looked at Woozi and Yeosang.  "It was relaxing.."  Woozi said with a little smile.  "Thank you for winning the bet, Yeosang."  He looked at the younger. "What would Cheol have gotten if he won?"  Jeonghan asked, looking at the mentioned man. Seungcheol chuckled and shrugged.  "Secret~"  He whispered.

Jeonghan pouted his lips and looked at Minghao.  "Well today, I visited Minghao."  He brought up.  "He encouraged me, so I went to get a job."  He said proudly. Seungcheol dropped his chopsticks.  "A j-job?"  He asked. "Mhm, I'm employed, baby!"  Jeonghan lifted his glass. Seungcheol furrowed his eyebrows.  "And when did we ever discuss this?"  He asked calmly, trying to hide the nervousness in his eyes. "I was just bored and Minghao suggested I get a job,"  Jeonghan shrugged, "what's so bad about it?"  He asked, looking at the male. "Nothing's bad, I just.. you.. I.."  Seungcheol stood up from the table.  "I need to leave."  He said, walking out of the kitchen. Jeonghan looks at the kids before standing up too.  "Continue eating,"  He instructed, "you're in charge, Hoshi."  He said before exiting the kitchen.

He went upstairs and opened the bedroom door.  Seungcheol looked at him with upset eyes.  "What's wrong, Cheol?"  He asked, locking the door behind him. "You're always getting upset with me making plans behind your back,"  Seungcheol started, "you're always getting upset at the kids dating without your consent, and you never give any chance for the kids to explain themselves without me talking to you first."  He said while pacing around. "I know it feels bad, I know that you don't like it, but why did you do it to me?"  Seungcheol held his chest.  "Why didn't you tell me you were bored?  Why didn't you tell me you were going out to find a job?"  Seungcheol asked defensively. Jeonghan never saw the male like this.  Seungcheol's usually calm and collected, even during nail-biting situations.  "What's gotten into you?"  Jeonghan asked.  "It's just a small job at the convenience store."  He said. "You missed the point, Jeonghan."  Seungcheol said. "So talk to me, Seungcheol."  Jeonghan walked up to the older.  "I've been opening up so much to them doing what they want on their own.  Did I ever know that Hoshi was going to Iksan?  No.  Did I ever know that Yeosang wanted to take Woozi to Jeju?  No.  But I got over it."  Jeonghan said angrily. "You looked at apartments on your own,"  Jeonghan started, "you looked at this land, this house, the childrens' educations - everything!  Without even mentioning to me that you were looking into something."  Jeonghan said in his defense.  "I don't tell you that I got a job that is so small compared to yours, and you blow your whole character up and become a different person?"  Seungcheol folded his arms.  "I just.." "Just what?  You've never wanted me to work, right?"  Jeonghan asked while tapping his foot. Seungcheol looked down. "It's not that.."  He muttered. "Then what?"  Jeonghan asked. "What if you meet someone like Minhyuk there?"  Seungcheol blurted out.  "What if your kindness gets you hurt again?"  He asked loudly.

Jeonghan let his arms go.  "Seriously?"  He raised an eyebrow.  "That's the main reason I don't want them working or dating."  He said in disbelief. "Yeah well.. I know they won't get hurt."  Seungcheol said with a small shrug. "Are you saying I'm weak?"  Jeonghan asked with a little huff, looking at the man up and down. Seungcheol looked away.  "Yes, you're emotionally weak."  He confirmed. "Are you serious?"  Jeonghan clenched his fists at his sides. Seungcheol sighed and nodded.  "You warm up to people and get too attached to them,"  He said, "you literally kissed Jaemin before he left to Seoul!"  He brought up. "On the cheek."  Jeonghan put his index finger up to his cheek. "And you put your hands up Yeosang's shirt?"  Seungcheol commented. Jeonghan huffed.  "He said he likes tickle fights."  He shrugged.  "Look, I'm not going to grow attached to every customer that comes in.  It's not like the old days where only a handful of people came into the store."  Jeonghan said. Seungcheol looked down at the floor.  "Why do you have to go to work..?"  He asked, sitting down on the bed in defeat.  "You shouldn't have to.." "Cheol, this isn't early century days, I'm not just going to sit at home and do nothing while my kids and husband are working."  Jeonghan said, sitting down next to him.  "It's not a high paying job, and it's not even long-term.  I just want to do something."  He put their hands together. Seungcheol closed his eyes and nodded.  "Sorry for making it a big deal near the kids.." "If you don't want me to go out, I won't."  Jeonghan said, patting the man's strong thigh.  "Just expect me to bother you at work."  He smiled at the end. Seungcheol smiled and looked at Jeonghan in the eyes.  "I wouldn't mind it, but I feel like you would chew out all of the competitors.." He laughed.  "If it makes you happy working, then I won't stop you."  Jeonghan leaned in closer to kiss the male.  "It's just until the twins move in, then I'll stay at home and take care of them while Wonwoo and Nana are out."  He said, pushing Seungcheol down on the bed. Seungcheol hummed and let Jeonghan stick close to him.  "Normally after these sorts of discussions we make love.."  Seungcheol commented. Jeonghan chuckled.  "I'm not feeling that spark tonight, sorry."  He said, closing his eyes. "I know.."  Seungcheol looked at the ceiling.  "I heard your stomach rumble.."  He commented. "Should we go back to the table?"  Jeonghan asked, sitting up slowly. Seungcheol nodded and followed Jeonghan to the kitchen.  The others gave them looks as they were almost finished with eating, but didn't say anything pertaining to their absence. "So that's what will go down if for some reason you don't graduate this semester, Yeosang."  Junhui said before pushing his bowl and picking up his glass. Yeosang nodded and picked up his and Woozi's dishes.  "Doesn't sound too bad."  He walked away to put the dishes in the dishwasher.

Dino nonchalantly walks Renjun out of the kitchen. They walk down the hall and take turns showering and getting ready for the night.  The older turns off the light and lays down next to the boy, putting small kisses on Renjun's neck.  The Chinese male giggled at the tickling kisses. "Renjun, it's time for your reward."  Dino whispered a little seductively against Renjun's right ear before he moved to hover over the boy. Renjun stays silent as his lips get pampered with kisses.  One kiss had him open his mouth.  He closed his eyes in the darkness, feeling the soft tongue kiss for what it was worth.  Dino has been too afraid to be this close.  It's only been Dino.  But Renjun notices how the boy isn't forcing himself to do this sort of thing. "Just sit back, Young man."  Dino whispered. The younger obeyed, feeling his pajama pants coming down as well as his boxers.  The boy wasn't numb to what was going on.  He didn't stop the older from putting a lick around his head and a breath on his slit.  He put his head back when he felt Dino put his lips around him, taking Renjun's member halfway through his mouth. "D-dino.."  Renjun moaned as the other hollowed his cheeks just right, swirled his tongue, and bobbed his head.  It took a lot out of the Chinese boy to not thrust his hips further against Dino's throat. Dino became reckless though.  He put Renjun as far as he could, slightly choking but loving the feeling of the leaking boy so far in him.  He felt Renjun's hips shudder and his body became excited for the boy's release.  He swallowed it all before putting Renjun's clothes back on. He pushed his body against the younger. "When you’re older, I'll let you do more."  Dino kissed Renjun's cheek playfully. "Why can't I speed time up.."  Renjun asked aloud, his member still standing tall as he imagined hearing Dino's moans and begs. Dino chuckled.  "Patience, Renjuni."  He whispered.  "Be a good boy and you'll be rewarded a great man."  He foresaw. Renjun hummed happily and pulled Dino closer.
